Our stay in Malta was fantastic, thanks to our amazing host Cathy! She’s incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and went out of her way to help us plan our trip, offering tips and pointing out hidden gems we wouldn't have found ourselves. The house is gorgeous and authentic, with a great variety of breakfast options to start the day, plus coffee on every floor, which was much appreciated. Cathy’s level of engagement with her guests is truly rare. It's not often that you find someone so genuinely dedicated to making your stay unforgettable. Her tips on local restaurants and attractions were spot-on, making our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re coming with a car, parking is easy to find. We highly recommend staying here for an unforgettable Malta experience!

Our stay in this beautiful townhouse was fantastic. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful details, everything made us feel at home. The stylish, cosy interior of the house blended character with comfort, and the delicious breakfast with homemade delights was a perfect start to the day. Ideally located for exploring Malta, the townhouse is close to stunning coastal views, cultural sites, and great dining spots. Cathy, our enthusiastic hostess, went above and beyond, providing fantastic tips for discovering the island and the best local restaurants. A truly welcoming and authentic experience.

Uncomfortable steps to the top floor. Breakfast could be more variety and vegetarian friendly with more fresh fruit and better bread and jam varieties.

The property is gorgeous, nicely furnished and very well curated. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is located in a quiet area of the old town, easy to access and to walk from from to reach other areas of interest of St Julian as well as to drive from to go visit La Valletta.

My only recommendation would be to turn the A/C on in the rooms a few hours before the guests arrival and eventually to install it also in the common areas since the hot is exhausting in the summertime and the fans are not enough to make the areas cool.

Was super clean and looked amazing. Breakfast consisted of a variety of fruits pastries and cereals that were perfect to fuel the start of your day. The location was perfect as really good bars and restaurants were only a 5 minute walk away. The owner was super friendly and easy to chat too and gave great advice so we would have the best holiday. I would highly recommend this property to everyone

The building is beautifully restored and furnished and the rooms are well equiped and comfortable. Its very close to central saint juliens and restaurants The breakfast was gorgous. Cathy the host couldnt have been more helpfull with advise on what to do and where else to stay during our 2 week trip to Malta and Gozo. She was a very helpful, welcoming host.

Saint Juliens is an hour (walk, buss and ferry) from Valetta and Three Cities. It took an hour and 30 minutes to get to Three Cities on the hop on/hop of bus. The balconies are small but do the job.

Cathy was a great host,easy to communicate with her via whatsapp and she gave us good tips to discover Malta.Great location,you can reach the Spinola Bay with restaurants and shops easily.Bus and Bolt both are very convenient to go somewhere in the island.Coffee machine on every floor is a big plus.

We were in the first floor and the street is a bit noisy in the early morning but there is AC in the room.The breakfast could have a bigger variety for example scrambled eggs.

I found The Stonehouse browsing on line and what a lucky find! Immediately welcomed by kind owner Cathy who is knowledgeable and helped me plan to get the most out of my trip, lending me a book and providing maps, and even making a dinner reservation. My room was SPOTLESS an oasis of calm, I can't describe how lovely it was! Generous breakfast, and coffee tea, water and nibbles available for each room. Fluffy towels, quality toiletries and an extremely comfortable bed. 10/10, faultless. Absolutely my best hotel experience ever!

We loved the authenticity of this stunning place, the generous sized rooms all decorated individually in keeping with the style of the building. The outdoor/indoor dining area and pool and walled garden was fabulous. The location in St. Julian’s was also a bonus close enough to the waterfront shops and bars but far enough away from noise and traffic.

There’s nothing that we didn’t love about this property, apart from having to leave it🥲

The big stone house was absolutely gorgeous! The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Cathy was the most fantastic host and helped us organise our time in Malta. The room was also cleaned every day, how great!

We felt like 8am breakfast was not early enough for all the early morning activities that are recommended. We would often be rushing a 15 minute breakfast and even missed breakfast on the last day.
