Rooms were very clean fully equipped. Wide choice for breakfast, we really enjoyed it. Location was great.

We had quite worn out towels.

Very clean, quiet area even though the position was close to all of the attractions, basically somewhere between st Julian s and Sliema, had an excellent sleep , cleanliness, a nice maltese style balcony, absolutely nothing to complain about. the continental breakfast was good, I loved it, the staff : very nice and attentive, I hardly met ppl from the staff except for breakfasts :) a grocery store is right just around the corner, same as a nice old pub ; A beautiful terrace as well Will try to come back again

Nothing to add

For an omnivore the breakfast was great. For me, with a vegan gluten free diet, it was less good. But there was a fresh salad platter and fresh fruit. I always take a pack of organic rice crackers with me, so ate them. The fresh coffee was excellent. Plenty of hanging rails, plus an iron and ironing board in the room. A decent sized small fridge, useful if you're there for a few days. Plenty of sockets, plus free to borrow adaptors if you needed them. A thoughtful touch. There's a security chain on the door for peace of mind. Mario was very polite and helpful. I'd stay again.

For me the bed wasn't really comfortable and the pillows were slightly too firm (although my partner would have loved them had he been there!) Also the bed shorter than a standard bed so a tall person would suffer. The inside patio door didn't lock, and the outer shutters were incredibly difficult to open.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Exiles Hotel. This is a small (only 3 bedrooms per floor), clean and modern hotel located up a side street and about 3 minutes walk from the Sliema promenade. Our room (Room 301) had a double bed and a sofa bed and a spacious bathroom - plenty of space for the 3 of us. Breakfast was basic. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful (Marco gave us plenty of advice on places to visit, nice beaches to go to and ordered taxis via the Bolt app for us when needed). There is a small bar across from the main entrance of the hotel so nice to stop in for a beer before or after dinner.

Mario was really a nice host, being there for us every day with a smile and helping us with our needs. The location of the hotel is perfect, we didn't use any bus/car for Sliema and St Julian's. We really like that the room was cleaned daily. Totally recommend it.

Breakfast could have been a little different from one day to another. However, it was ok for us. The room was very small, but it's enough if you don't want to spend all the time there. These are things to be improved, bot dislikes.

The room was big, well equipped and sparkling clean. The staff is welcoming and kind. They offer a good and varied continental breakfast and the hotel is conveniently located close to ferry departures and bus stops. Excellent value for money, at least at the time of my trip (February).

The only downside I can find is that the structure is located in a relatively noisy street and sound proofing is not excellent, but I found that the noise coming from outside died out around midnight.

Brilliant location, Mario was always on hand to help and the room was very comfortable. We loved the continental breakfast too and were able to store our luggage on the final day

A bit of noise from across the road at the pub but didn’t cause too much of a problem

The hotel is located in an excellent spot on the wonderful area of Sliema. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the promenade where you can enjoy restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Also its within walking distance to St. Julien and the ferry service to Valletta (approx. 15-20 minutes walk). Some people might think that breakfast didn't offer a great variety, but it was more than adequate for my standards (after all it's a quit small place). The room was cleaned on a daily basis and new towels were brought. Cable TV with many channels (including non-Maltese ones), strong air-conditioning, a safe, a fridge and coffee and tea making facilities. I'd easily visit this hotel again.

A Lebanese restaurant is located on the ground floor (its actually the place where breakfast is served). The restaurant's kitchen and the hotel's bathroom (at least the one I got), share a ventilation shaft, so you can smell the odours coming from the kitchen while being in the bathroom (maybe not a trouble if you are a fan of Middle East kitchen). It didn't really trouble me much (the restaurant opens in the evening), but I've read about it in other peoples' comments and it's true.

Hotel and room were always very clean. Our room was on top floor (4th floor) so lift (elevator) was appreciated. Our room was spacious, we had 2 suitcases that were easily placed around room without making moving around hard. Bathroom was big and shower was an open shower and big, towels were changed every day. As our room was on top floor we had a walkout balcony with lounge area (table and chairs) and also a clothes hanger on it which made clothes washing easier than trying to find laundromat (we found that hotel laundry was too expensive all over most of Europe so did our own when we could). Room had plenty of power points to enable charging of all our devices every night. Tea and coffee facilities in room with electric jug and mini fridge for use was very handy. Hotel Manager, Mario, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, huge range of options every day and Mario made the best coffee. Hotel is in excellent area. Local and sightseeing busses stopped at end of street (3 minute walk). Plenty of eating areas at end of street as well. Would recommend for a great stay and would stay here again.

Clean and comfortable, location was good. Staff were nice. Mario and Jean-luc was very nice. Cleaner did a good job and made sure we had plenty towels.

Shower tray is unfortunately not suitable for type of shower as the water overflows constantly and doesn't drain properly leaving floor wet and worry when showering about damage. Room is on the smaller side but made it work and was fine.
