Great hotel with great facilities. Pool at the 8th floor with sea view and spa with a small gym. Me and my daughter had breakfast included and it was a good selection of food. The location is perfect to move by foot from Sliema to St Julien only 20mins enjoy walking by the sea, there is a Lidl just 8 mins distant and bus station 2 mins by foot, to Valletta or other places. The staff at the reception were very polite. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Brilliant loaction either you planning a nice relaxing trip or funfilled one, very close to ferries to visit different locations by foot. Special mention for Adarsh from reception, made sure about making our stay even better. Nice selection of breakfast items, exactly what you expect from a 4star in Europe.

Pool is a bit tiny but cant complain you can always enjoy jacuzzi privately (booking in advance) and number of beaches around for a swim. Wouldn’t be by major concern not to have a swim in hotel pool.

This hotel had it all. Bar, restaurant, gym, jacuzzi, steam room and a roof top pool. Ideal location for bus routes and within walking distance to Sliema shopping area and the marina in St Julians. Fantastic buffet breakfast with options to suit everyone. Fruit, cereals, breads, cooked meats, pastries and more all with juices, teas and coffees. Very clean with daily housekeeping. Modern room and bathroom.

Room had been advertised as with a balcony. There was none, it was literally a metal surround outside the window which you could not stand on never mind sit on.

- 20 minutes by taxi from the airport - we had a large, quiet room on the 6th floor with a sea view (603) - luggage storage and dressing room so that you can still enjoy all the facilities of the hotel if you arrive early or leave late. hotel. -very friendly staff -Everything in the hotel looks very well maintained and clean. The location is perfect, you can easily walk to St Julians Bay or the other way for the Ferry for the crossing to Valetta (2.00 per person - one way / 3.70 for return). Swimming opportunities in the Sea are opposite the hotel. And nearby are a few nice restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious meal with a sea view. Also the sea water swimming pool is not far. With sunbeds and restaurant (recommended) We still hesitated whether we would stay in Valetta, but afterwards we are happy with the choice to stay in Sliema. The most wonderful thing about the hotel, as everyone already writes, is... the breakfast. Everything fresh, lots of fruit, pastries/sweets/eggs fried and scrumbled, English breakfast, very extensive and everything is continuously replenished and kept clean. So no empty dishes, even if there are not many people in the breakfast room. Everything very well organised.

Location and stuff were nice, rooms were cleaned regularly and towels were changed every day. Overall good experience.

I booked a single (queen size) bed but in the end got two single beds, which is not okay.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. Its central location was ideal, and the rooms were both comfortable and spotless. The rooftop pool offered breathtaking views. However, what truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service. The hotel staff, especially hotel manager, Adarsh at the reception and the super attentive bar service, went above and beyond to ensure a perfect experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sliema.

Staff: During my stay, I was met with friendly staff and exceptional service. I particularly liked the helpfulness and hard-working traits of their entire staff team. Breakfast: The restaurant (floor -1) always has a good rotation of different food, pastries and fruits. Room: We booked a room for two people and we can say that the size met our expectations. Sadly, what we cannot say is that the view from our particular room was especial. Most of the facilities worked really well, with the bathroom having high quality hygiene products. Although the hair dryer was underwhelming. The hotel also has daily room service which is highly appreciated. Location: Finally the hotel is situated in Sliema, beside a beach and near many bus stops such as Ghadir and Torri, with bus routes such as 13, 13A, 14 and 16 to Valletta operating from there. There are also a couple bars and stores nearby the hotel. You may also take these buses down to the ferries area where there is an abundance of restaurants and bars.

The walls are not soundproofed, so loud conversations, either in the room next to you or in the hallway may be heard. It is especially annoying during late night when you're trying to rest or to sleep. Additionally, the AC doesn't cool the room, but instead heats it, so you would have to open the window in order to let some cool air in. This is problematic, especially during summer months because mosquitoes may come in and bite you while you sleep.

Good size room. Very friendly staff. Clean. Huge choice for breakfast. Value for money. . Easy walk to ferry get to Valetta. Directly by the sea. Pleasant restaurant nearby.

A little stressful to get away by car, as the area is very built up. Maybe breakfast a little overambitious - some of the cooked food was a little dry or cold, even early on, but given the huge choice this is only a very minor niggle.

We had a wonderful stay at The Diplomat Hotel in Malta. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed. A special thank you to Alessandra, who seems to be the manager — her professionalism and warm attitude set the tone for the entire experience. The whole team was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. Our room was always spotless, thanks to the excellent housekeeping team, and we were impressed by the high standards of cleanliness. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, offering something for everyone. And of course, the view from our window was absolutely stunning — waking up to the sea every morning was a real pleasure. My pregnant wife and I felt incredibly comfortable and cared for. We’re very satisfied and grateful for such a positive experience. Highly recommended!
