What a beautiful place to stay in Bacalar! It is really a home and suites with only 3 rooms, but that is exactly what we like. The rooms are big and super clean. Finally hosts that understand the needs of travelers. They have everything you need! Like: - enough electric points in the room, even next to the bed. With a small shelf to put away your phone. - super soft and clean bed - next to a great working A/C also a windblower - great shower - bathroom has everything you need - fridge - coffee maker -portable light for outside - your own little private "pool" The hosts Humberto en Marcella really understand what the meaning of being a host means . They let you feel at home right away! The breakfast has everything you need. From fresh toast, fruit freshly brewed coffee and yoghurt with nuts and honey. Just a perfect way to start your day!

The owners are just wonderful, taking great care of everything - very helpful, friendly and available on spot. Very stylish furnishings, everything arranged with a great detail. Super clean. Very comfortable common area with hammocks, sunbeds and pool. Simple breakfasts are delicious. The owner helped us with a flat tyre and gave us comprehensive answers to many questions, he also arranged a sailboat trip for us. Thank you for the perfect stay in Bacalar!

Location might be disadvantage for the guests without car, however the bikes are provided and the distance to the lake shouldn't be a problem.

This was our favorite stay during our whole Mexico trip! The place is beautifully decorated, very clean and with all the amenities you could possibly need. The owners are kind and lovely people, always happy to help. They have so much attention to detail to make sure you make the best out of your stay and your trip. Oh, and the breakfast was very yummy! You also have bikes for free on site, which you can use to ride to the lake or the city center, both just 10 minutes away.

It might be a bit isolated if you don’t have a car or don’t want to use the free bikes. But this wasn’t our case.

Everything from the amazing owners - a lovely couple from Mexico who have managed to express their passion for travelling across the world inside and outside of the cosy rooms and areas around! They also have lovely bicycles to use in the town for free. Loved loved loved every single bit!

I can’t think of anything!!! This place, owners and vibe is one of a kind! Everything is green, power and water efficient, natural and stylish - soo amazing! this place is an example we can live sustainably and still feel the luxury life!

Everything was perfect, the best accommodation of our Mexico trip! The hosts were very friendly, helpful and always available. The family owned apartment was super clean, big shower, a super confy bed and nice decoration details. The highlight was our private jacuzzi. You could even order cocktails for small money at the accommodation. The location is not directly in the city center but by car/taxi it’s just 5 minutes and walking distance is 20 minutes. The Wi-Fi was very good, nothing to complain. The best place to stay in Bacalar, 100% recommended!

Highly recommended! Excellent place to stay with very nice and clean rooms and very welcoming hosts. Nice rooms with patio and view over the swimming pool. We stayed here for 3 nights and this is a good spot with calm athmosphere. Hosts are very helpful. Free parking spots. The breakfast is very good.

Location is not in the centre but therefore also nice and quiet. If you have a car you can easily drive to bacalar centre, walking is also an option and is safe, but will take a bit longer.

Very good overall vibe. the host was very helpful and informative. To be honest, it was his kindness and patience that made that hotel ‘the right choice’. Breakfasts were delicious and the possibility to rent bikes for free was very welcoming.

The location could be better, as the walking distance from the city center is quite large and the streets are dark. There are many street dogs in the neighborhood (most of them are lazy and friendly), but this could be unpleasant for people who are afraid of dogs.

This hotel is excellent value for money. The room was very spacious, beautiful and very clean. The air con worked really well and was quiet. The manager was really friendly and helpful. He gave us a good restaurant recommendation and he set up breakfast early for us as we had to check out early. It's a bit of a walk to the main restaurants by the lake but there are bikes available if you would rather.

The location is a bit dark at night and there are alot of barking dogs. However the manager did warn us of them in advance so it was not a surprise !

The accommodation is located approximately 7mins from the city center and offers the peace and privacy. The room is well decorated and spacious. The continental breakfast was delicious. Humberto and his wife Marcella are the best hosts ever and made us feel at home. Their generosity and kindness went beyond and above our expectations. We had a fabulous stay and we would recommend this accommodation to everyone! Also, big plus: they have bike that can be used for free. Perfect way to explore Bacalar!

The room was very comfortable and everything was very well maintained! The owners put a lot of love and effort into running the place, and were super hospitable and helpful in giving tips. It was also very nice to have an included breakfast. There's a shared pool in the garden and a private pool about the size of a jacuzzi next to every apartment. Although these were a bit shallow for swimming, they were nice to cool off in at the end of the day, and they also attracted a lot of beautiful birds into the shared garden.

The wifi was very slow. However, this wasn't really a problem for us since there was good mobile internet reception and you can buy a prepaid sim card for very cheap. The appartments were located at the very edge of the town of Bacalar. It's possible to walk to the centre/lake shore, but it can be very hot to do so. In the end we just took our rental car to arrive there in just a few minutes.
