I stayed at the hotel for a month, mostly working on my laptop but also doing leisure trips to the beaches, seeing all the Mayan ruins. My room was spacious, always clean, the cleaning Ladies were great, very friendly. The WiFi was fast up to 50 MB per second and I got full 5G coverage in the hotel. The rooftop pool was very nice, as well as the rooftop restaurant/ bar lounge area, just a great place to enjoy a sunset cocktail, and the food was good. The included breakfast buffet downstairs was nice and the waiters were great. The gym is huge with modern machinery and everything you need. I prefer to stay in the city rather than the hotel zone because there are not hundreds of clueless tourists running around, instead you get to experience the people and culture, and the beach is just still a short taxi drive away. There is a big supermarket just 5 min walk away as well as some very nice Restaurants just 5 min walk away. There is a Walmart 20 minutes walk away, laundromat 10 min walk and a really cool little market area with good street food stalls just 2 min from the laundromat. I will certainly return to this hotel again.

There are only 2 or 3 English channels, and even if it's a Spanish country, there are many foreign tourists who don't speak Spanish, but can understand English. The breakfast buffet is a bit repetitive and as a Head Chef myself I think they should change it up every odd day. Other than that it was great value for what you pay.

The gym is very big and professionally equipped. The WiFi is fast at up to 50 MB per second. The room was spacious, bed is very comfortable. The pool and rooftop dining area and bar is a great treat, looks very modern, nice area to relax and unwind. The buffet breakfast has a large spread to choose from. The hotel is only a 5 min walk from a big supermarket, 3 to 5 min walk from a couple of really nice Restaurants, and 15 minutes walk from a WalMart. It's only 10 min walk from a big bus terminal.

As an International tourist there's only 2 or 3 English channels on the t.v. The breakfast is repetitive.

spacious room; good bed and linens; quiet, efficient A/C; rooftop lap pool w/ loungers (not many); quiet overall (maybe due to low season); mini-fridge; spacious bathroom w/ good hot/warm water and shower, double sinks. Overall good value if the price is right.

Ground floor restaurant. No outdoor seating; mediocre breakfast:no whole grain bread (pan integral); no toaster; hot dogs instead of bacon or ham; no choice eggs-only scrambled; fake orange juice: read drink; hot options more suitable for lunch; no avocado w/ the salad items ). Might be better to offer breakfast at rooftop area w/ morning sun.

The location was great, we were walking distance to many restaurants and ADO station. I've stayed here many times and have had good experiences.

The first night when we were there, the AC in the room was shut off. I let the front desk know the next day and waited for about 2 hours, and then housekeeping stopped by and I let them know what was going on and they were able to get maintenance up within minutes. I also didn't like that they had tour agents in the lobby; I felt like I couldn't avoid them, they were very pushy. I've stayed there several times and that was new and did not like that.

We had a nice stay at Mex Hotels. Its centrally located in Downtown Cancun so we could literally walk from the ADO bus station. Our room was huge with a comfortable bed, desk and lovely shower. It also had storage which was a great touch. The restaurant downstairs was expensive but not bad, we ate there twice but mainly nipped to all the delicious restaurants that are in 10 minute walking from the place. It's also very easy

Nothing it was fit for purpose! Nothing crazy special about it and of course the price is high but we had a nice room & and its Cancun after all everything is expensive.

We stayed at this hotel for one night before our flight. The location was perfect for us, as we needed a place near the bus stop. We had dinner at the rooftop restaurant—the food was delicious, the service was great, and the prices were reasonable. The hotel staff didn’t speak English very well but made a sincere effort to help us. Our room was comfortable, with a large bed, a nice rain shower, and a modern design. Overall, we were happy with our stay, and the price was good.

We checked out at 6:30 AM and unfortunately couldn’t have breakfast. We asked for an early breakfast or a lunch box, but the hotel didn’t offer this option. Also, the wardrobe was quite small for a longer stay, and it was a bit noisy at night, possibly due to the air conditioning.

The staff is very nice specially an older gentleman at the reception. The breakfast is good, can be salty at times. I only try it twice because of the early tours I had. I would stay there again if it wasn’t for the AC. Very close to Parque las Palapas where you can eat tasty food. Also close to Mercado 23. Very quiet overall.

I’m not sure what was wrong with the AC because it would work, but the room was always humid and even my dry clothes will be humid. That was not the case in another placed I stayed in Cancún.

The location is very close to the bus station, which is convenient. It's very Central in downtown, if you want to stay downtown and that you could take buses or taxi to the beach easily. The layout of the hotel is nice. Has an excellent rooftop bar, pool, and exercise room. The servers on the rooftop are very nice. . The hotel had shampoo dispensers In the shower area, which is environmentally friendly, important to me, instead of little, tiny bottles. The breakfast was good

The TV stopped working for a number hours when I was in the room but these things do happen from time to time. I would like to suggest that the hotel has a large jug of water either in the lobby or on each floor. So that you can refill your water bottle. This has multiple benefits. One The hotel will save the cost of giving little bottles of water to every room which is expensive. It cuts down on plastic waste. And it can lead to decreased costs of the hotel's garbage fees.

This hotel delivered great value for money and genuinely surprised me. The location is perfect—right across from the ADO bus stop and just minutes from the local buses that take you to the stunning beaches in the Hotel Zone for only 12 pesos. Plus, there’s a massive supermarket right across the street, which is super convenient. The rooms are larger than they seem, clean, and comfortably cool. The bathroom and shower setup is fantastic, with double sinks and enough space in the walk-in shower to host a small party. I requested a quiet room and was given one on the first floor, with no outside window but overlooking the breakfast area. It wasn’t an issue at all. The rooftop is a great spot to relax, catch the sunrise, or sunbathe, though the so-called pool is more of a decorative feature than a place to swim. The gym is solid—better than your average hotel gym. Breakfast was decent for the price, around 11€, though a little more variety (especially with basics like eggs) would have been nice. The only real downside was the breakfast service—the staff seemed like they really didn’t want to be there, which made the experience a bit unpleasant. I paid around 20€ for late checkout - 4pm. Overall, a great stay for the price, with a few minor drawbacks!

This place is a budget-friendly find! We needed a one-night stay near the Cancun bus station and picked this for price and location. The staff is friendly, our room was quiet, with decent beds and good plumbing. Our stay included the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of items and lots of fresh coffee. Best of all, was the roof-top bar/restaurant with a plunge pool and a nice view which we could hang out in before going to the airport. The furnishing and décor are dated and a bit worn, but the building is clean and public areas are spacious. It’s a short walk to a variety of restaurants. And easy to catch a bus to anywhere else you might want to go.
