Room was a small cabin and SO cute, comfortable, private despite being the little hotel community. Facilities were great - the beach club always had seats available and it was lowkey but fun, and great service. Food - breakfast and lunch were great, I would skip dinner the menu is a bit more limited. Good drinks too. Service - the team was so helpful, especially as I was traveling alone. From helping with taxis, coordinating excursions, and storing my luggage. Location - I was nervous about coming to Tulum but this place was SO peaceful. Being in the park was really nice, felt like it made the area quieter, but lots to see and easy enough to get into town or the hotel zone. If you want to visit Tulum but not stay in the craziness this is a great spot. I will absolutely be back and have told all my friends and family to visit!

A very relaxed beach hotel located near the Tulum Maya ruins (& FAR away from the pulsating hotel strip further down south) The breakfast (served under a large canopy by the beach) consists of a fruit plate & 1 plato fuerte of your choice. The cabanas are quite large & decorated in different styles. The reception is always manned By Victor (daytime) of Nicolas (evening) & they are VERY kind & helpful. Expect some minor bugs, as we are within Parque del Jaguar. Spoil yourself to a swim with mantas & turtles with "Tulum Snorkel Service" located just to the left when going out on the beach. it's 350 for a 1 hour trip. They are a 100 pesos more expensive than the guys to the right, but it's money very well spent.

the new rules that came with the implementation of the "Parque del Jaguar" a year ago can pose some difficulties the first time you go to the resort. Afterwards it get's easier.

1. right on the beach. all meals were available. organic. delicious, very clean food. Ate on the beach, under a tent watching the ocean. it was luxurious. Room was clean, comfortable, felt right at home immediately. Wonderful shower with lots of hot water and a 1 gallon filtered water, glass jar, refilled daily! Favorite Staff: Massimo at the front desk, very helpful, attentive, took care of our needs. Jorge, a waiter, hustled, very attentive, always on top of our orders. Nicholas, a waiter, also hustled, attentive, conscientious. Victor, front desk, very helpful, attentive and very conscientious of our needs.

Can't think of anything I did not like.

Location close to reef. Friendly staff.

The fact that the hotel is located in the national park with entrance restrictions means that on your way to the hotel your car will be searched by police and they will force you to throw away all of the plastic bottles. You also need to pay park entrance fee and wear hand-band. I also had a very unpleasant experience when on the way back to hotel from Tulum in the evening the police did not want to let me back in, despite the fact that I did have a hand-band confirming payment of the entrance fee and a confirmation of hotel booking. This was very frustrating as our kids stayed at the hotel and I only went to Tulum to get some food, so not being able to come back to them was really stressful.

Rooms were nice, we had the renovated version which was more expensive than the older, single houses. There is a safe parking inside. The area is very quiet and close to Tulum ruins. As many have already mentioned, this is in a reservation area where alcohol and plastic bottles are not allowed and there is also a daily ticket to get in the reservation (if you do not get out you do not need to pay) on the main road, inside the reservation there is a free (if you have to have the daily entry paid bracelet on your wrist) bus that gets you to the ruins.

Breakfast was not great. 2 options to choose from out of which 1 was pancakes :) that was it. :) Prices are are bit spicy, but I guess that is how it is in this area on the beach. Tulum is way cheaper to eat.

Beeing in the middle of the jungle was magical. I loved watching the small animals running around from our cozy terrace. The design of the room and bathroom was exotic, with such a good vibe. The hotel restaurant was cute, the staff was very kind. It was great that we could rent bikes at the hotel and comfortably check out the surroundings and Tulum center.

The daily entrance fee purchase and the no plastic policy of the park is an extra complexity, but understandable.

I wished Id stayed more days at this paradise. Villa Pescadores had the perfect location for a chill, connected and beautiful experience in Tulum. Right next to the ruins, the view was mesmerizing. The rooms are right next to the beach, the breakfast and bar are delicious, we even got to make a free yoga class and paid massage that were incredible. Staff were super friendly as well. The sustainable approach of the hotel was also a high point for us. We were happy to protect this paradise ♡

Dinner at the hotel was ok. You can take the cars to other hotels and restaurants at the reserve or go to the city to enjoy the night life.

From the moment we arrived, we experienced the BEST hospitality- Victor and Alberto felt like family after our week stay. The Villa is DIRECTLY on the beach with a 10/10 location. Breakfast, coffee/juice was served daily (included) along with beachside beverages and food options for purchase throughout the day. The room was safe, air conditioned, cleaned and had a beautiful bathroom. The ruins were a 10min walking distance ON THE BEACH, and a short 12min Tax to all the hottest restaurants and clubs located in the Tulum Beach area. The beach was clean, and the water was crystal clear. Our agenda in Tulum was a girls trip celebrating my birthday (3 females) wanting to explore ruins, cenotes, beach days, pool parties and fiestas at night. Staying at Villa Pescadores allowed for all of this AND MORE! The staff was always available to assist with taxis, recommendations, bringing in a massage therapist, etc. I am recommending this to ALL my friends and family as we will most definitely be back!

Firstly the amazing staff should be the first reason should come here. Every member of staff was so friendly and attentive in all of out interactions and its nice to see familiar faces during our staff. The reception staff were always on hand to help with questions and organising, taxis, trips and they even helped us rent an atv that was delivered straight to the hotel which made the process super easy! The cleaning staff did an incredible job everyday and not a speck of sand was left in the bedroom. The bed was super comfy and waking up on the beach everyday was so dreamy! I loved the added detail of getting tea and coffee delivered to the room each day, it was so nice to sit outside in the morning with the calm and beautiful surroundings. The location feels extremely safe as its based in the jaguar national park. The breakfast in the morning exceeded expectations and the location of the hotel was beautiful. We had planned go to beach clubs before our trip but the beach club at the hotel was he perfect chilled vibe serving great drinks and food at a reasonable price. I would love to come back here and would recommend to any of my friends.

It wasn't a dislike but it would be great if this hotel had the option for dinner. Having said that there are plenty of hotels in walking distance that do serve dinner so it's not a big deal at all!

Villa Pescadores offers beautiful private villas set in a white sand tropical enclave right on the beach in the quiet, more modern Tulum National Park area. The accommodations are both charming and elegant with smaller thatched-roof cottages with one queen or two twin beds, all opening up to pleasant private decks right on a sandy, palm tree shaded promenade that runs through the property. There are also larger deluxe top and bottom duplex rooms with two queen beds that also spill out to the promenade that opens one of the nicest beach areas in all of Tulum. Conveniently, is where the colorful snorkeling boats depart for the nearby reef. The service, cleanliness and attention to detail is at VP is impeccable, with special kudos to the front desk manager Jamie and her crew who quickly responded to any request. VP is within walking distance to the Tulum archeological park, though requires an expensive cab ride to get to Tulum Centro. I strongly recommend renting a car. One cab ride per day will pay for it. Having your own car more affordably opens up the many tours of archeological sites, magical cenotes, mystical ceremonies, and Myan communities that are the heart and soul of Tulum. We splurged on the tours led by Pluma of Pluma Conscious Tours. With us providing the transportation, these private tours cost about the same as group tours, and Pluma is a soulful gem, very connected with the Mayan community, speaking English quite well along with Mayan and Spanish. He even gives surf lessons! My daughter and I appreciated the low key, quiet ambiance of Villa Pescadores while just a three minute beach walk away we loved the soulful elevated, somewhat noisy vibrations of the Ikal Tulum Hotel.

The food menu and preparation did not rise to the superb lovely of every other aspect of the property.
