This little hotel has a nice, friendly and helpful staff. Our room was spacious with a king bed and a little outdoor seating area. It had a little pool but we did not use it because the moisture attracted mosquitoes. The location is excellent. It is easy walking distance to three different cantinas that have live music and serve food. We went to live music 4 nights out of a 9 day stay.

We prepaid for breakfast in the app. It was expensive by Merida standards and really not great. The coffee was instant and the waffles were toaster waffles for example. Opening hour was listed as 7:30 but many mornings no one showed up to cook until after 8. On several occasions, we had to leave for planned activities before breakfast was being made. So if you stay here, do not pay in advance for the breakfast. Also note that the suites all have large windows onto the back garden. The other rooms have no windows at all, which might bother some people.

Friendly staff helpful people. The kitchen lady was wonderful. Housekeeping was kind. The place was clean.

Property was quiet, away from town center so you can sleep without cars honking all night. Big room. Adults only, so no screaming children waking me up. Refillable water and small fridge in room. Merida is safe so don’t feel worried walking around. You can take blue bus from airport for 45mxn to second stop and walk 2-3 blocks to hotel, it’s just as nice or nicer than taxi.

For price I paid should have a coffee maker in room and breakfast should be included. No hot water but hard to come by in Mexico.

Everything was big. The room, the bed, the shower, etc. We booked a deluxe room, but they gave us something better. And they didn't lie, the deluxe was half the size! We stayed in room 2, which is just in front of the little pool. We could basically jump into the pool from our room, if we would be able to jump so far 🤣

For a boutique hotel we expected something a little more fancy regarding the breakfast. Something like a buffet or such. Also, only three couples/families could at eat the same time (only three tables). Which is odd.

Great location, staff, amenities. Quiet at night, strong and personal WiFi (per room). Main pool is always clean and refreshing. I stayed in a junior suite on the first level. This suite included its own mini pool and lots of natural light. I had to work remotely 2/3 nights I stayed. The big windows facing my own private patio made a huge difference. I agree with other travelers that the breakfast offered is OK. I ended up eating breakfast and getting great matcha and drinks at the little cafe next door.

The location was really good, being able to walk to all the main points of the city. The hotel in general was very clean, and the room was very spacious with a big comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful at all times, and were available 24/7 always treating everyone with friendliness and respect.

The towels and bed sheets needed to be upgraded, they looked a bit used and not exactly the cleanest. The pool is in the middle of the hotel, so you're not really able to use it without disrupting all of the rooms, I think this should be clarified.

It's a wonderful location. The Casona is just a few streets from the busiest section of the Centro Historico, so everything is walkable but the location is very quiet. Lots of restaurants, pubs, shops, plazas, historic sites are all very close. The staff were very accommodating to my excursion group of 12 people (7 rooms). We took over the place for a night! With just a handful of comfortable rooms, the place is very quiet and comfortable. The staff helped me set up a nice welcome reception in the small dining area, and they held several bags behind for some of our travelers who did not want to carry all of their bags for the entire excursion. We picked them up 6 nights later; they were kept securely under lock and key while we were away.

The property around it — the difficult sidewalks. Although we eventually figured out how to walk safely. If you have trouble on broken, and sometimes dark sidewalks, I’d choose somewhere else. It was so close to the center of town, we adjusted.

Super little hotel, perfect location to the main square, Santa Ana and street 47 where we discovered some fab eateries. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff were great and we enjoyed the complimentary coffee by the pool in the morning.
