We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at R Palazzo Boutique Hotel. It’s a beautiful hotel with stunning views. It’s in a quieter area outside of Kotor and away from crowds which suited us perfectly. The swimming pool was fabulous, the towels for the pool and beach towels are provided by hotel. The staff were amazing - very kind and very helpful. The music is playing in pool/restaurant area (I’ve read few negative comments about it) - we loved the music, it plays in the background and certainly isn’t that loud. Yes, the hotel is near the road but so are most of the hotels in that area, surely people check the location before booking the hotel. It didn’t bother us in the slightest, you really cannot hear any traffic in the room. The air conditioning worked very well and we appreciated that a lot especially when it was 42 degrees outside. Plenty of parking spaces- few spaces at the front and spaces at the back of the hotel, so we had no issues parking the car. Breakfast - more than sufficient. Plenty of choice from continental breakfast with addition choice of omelette or poached eggs; coffee made by staff - all you need is to ask and choose. We would definitely return. Great location away from the business and bustle from Kotor. Amazing views and helpful staff. Comfy clean rooms and beds. Breakfast was amazing!

The prices of drinks at the hotel bar are extortionate. The same as central london prices. It would be great if the prices were a bit more reasonable then I think a lot more people would drink them. Music playing constantly at breakfast / in the hotel lounge / pool was on repeat and very monotonous.

Accommodating staff who would do anything for you, without being pushy and interfering like you may experience elsewhere. The facilities were impeccable, pool was beautiful and breakfast provided for a nice spread to start the day. Additional extras such as evening cocktails and refreshments served by the pool in the evening made for a great touch. We also had fresh towels, and a made bed everyday. I know this can not always be the case in all hotels, but again made our stay clean and comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough, even if you think it’s on the pricier side, I can confirm it was worth that extra cost.

Cannot fault anything to be honest - we had some salty water due to the issues in the village, but this was out of the hotel’s control.

The person who was at reception was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Very good location. The quality of the room was top. The quality of food, lobby and breakfast was excellent.

The staff was incredible. I want to single out Nikola as the perfect example of what customer service is all about. I can't remember when I have had someone at a hotel provide top-notch service with such enthusiasm and joy. He is absolutely amazing. I also want to say that Maria, who worked the breakfast area, was exceptionally nice and eager to please. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of service at this hotel.

The breakfast could have been better. The selection was not as appealing as it could have been. Nonetheless, the exceptional service made it a pleasant experience each morning. I also felt that the dinner options were mediocre. The exception was the soup. It was thick, hearty and delicious. But, the pasta choices were laden with too-heavy sauces that were oversalted.

Everything was nice, all the staff was very kind, the rooms were very clean, we used double bedroom apartment on the groud flor(one room was spacious with the exit on the pool, and other a little bit small), the pool was small but clean. The breakfast was good, with the option to choose breakfast "a la carte" without extra charge. The location of the hotel is very good, near the beach (2 min walking down the stairs), we used a car for the old town, but there is a nice street (good fish restaurant there) on the sea if you want to walk or go to the city on foot (probably around 45 min).

Hotel Palazzo exceeded all our expectations. The view was absolutely breathtaking, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and luxurious. What truly stood out was the amazing staff especially Nicola! Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Despite a temporary water shortage, the staff handled it with grace and professionalism, delivering water promptly and ensuring we were comfortable at all times. A perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and hospitality – we can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montenegro!

The hotel itself was great. Very new and built to a very good spec. Great security features, comfortable furnishings and all amenities were fab. The location is UNREAL. The views of the bay are unrivalled, if you want the views? Pick this hotel. The staff are some of the best I have ever encountered at a hotel. Catered to everything you could possibly want or need, looked after you at every moment and even on our minimoon, they organised prosecco, rose petals and muffins! Nikola - you are a credit to the hotel, thank you for everything! The pool is cold but great, there's a few seats around the pool and on the rooftop if wanted, and the hotel also provide towels if you want to take some to the beach. It's just under an hour walk to Kotor old town, or a 10 ISH minute taxi, depending on traffic. I truly cannot recommend this hotel enough, thank you for making our minimoon so special!

If I had to be nit picky - the TVs on the walls can be very loud, and our neighbours woke us up several times in the early morning as you can hear them through the walls. Also, the hotel won't serve food after breakfast until 3, but won't let you eat outside snacks unless you're in your room - just a bit frustrating if you fancy a snack between 12-3!

The hotel was gorgeous. Modern, clean, spacious and stunning views! The pool area was gorgeous, the rooftop was also a really nice addition. We were a group of 9 and had 4 rooms between us, and everyone was happy, especially with every room having a beautiful view! The only food we had there was the breakfast, which was nice, nothing special but we didn't mind!

The staff were very sweet, but the service was so slow. It seemed they weren't used to having big groups (9 of us), which is totally fine, but we barely ordered anything, and when it did it just took forever!

Stunning view of the bay, clean and new facilities, great soundproofing, exceptional customer service (special thanks to Nikola who was extremely diligent and informative before and during the check in process, and Burkay who served our breakfast very attentively and with a smile and an upbeat attitude). The jacuzzi on the roof with a view of the sea that stunning is a special feature worth trying. The standards of service are on par with those of surrounding 5-star giants, and pictures don’t do the location, view and rooms themselves justice.

Everything was exceptional.
