The staff were lovely and gave a nice tour upfront, the rooms were nice and modern, the breakfast was homemade and there was a cute family of turtles!! We also appreciated the free bikes and recommendations nearby. I would especially like to shoutout Jovana at the front desk who was SO friendly and helpful during our stay

It’s located a little further out which meant a lot of walking back from old town - although the benefit of that is a little less touristy / free beach nearby! We also got a slight room downgrade during our stay which we thought we might get money back for but didn’t - it’s also our fault for assuming and not addressing at the time though

We stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The bathroom was beautiful, the room was very spacious, and the sheets were changed daily – which was a lovely surprise. The garden was just magical, full of lemon and mandarin trees, with a pool and jacuzzi that made it feel like a little paradise. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of great choices. But what really made our stay special was the staff – including the owner – who were incredibly kind and attentive. They did everything to make sure we were comfortable and happy.

The only downside? Our time there was way too short! We would’ve loved to stay longer. Highly recommended!

The staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve interacted with. Always kind, available, and happy to assist with anything like parking, directions, food, or anything else. There is also plenty of parking right on the property or just across the street. That is a truly valuable thing if you are visiting by car during the busy season.

Everything was great! Be aware that the old city is about a 25-30 minute walk away. But it’s a beautiful, scenic walk right along the water if you take the little alley through the back gate of the hotel property.

This is a beautiful Boutique style hotel with personal touch in every aspect . The staff was very cooperative and professional , the location is just walking distance approx 1 Km from main Kotor town , the walking path goes from back side of the hotel which is with very beautiful view of sea ju , there are good restaurant nearby we liked Tiha NOC restaurant which is approx 100 meter from the restaurant.

Nothing to mention as such however if some more breakfast option can be added will be better e.g hash browns etc .

The staff, especially Susanne, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, Susanne even picked us up from the Old Town when it was raining very heavy and we couldn’t get a taxi. We were also surprised with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. The staff at this hotel were exceptional. Very helpful with great recommendations of good restaurants nearby. It was also so nice to have the use of bicycles, free of charge. We had a lovely stay at this hotel. A wonderful boutique hotel with a beautiful lemon tree garden, excellent selection of breakfast including a la carte, outdoor plunge pool and jacuzzi on the roof with a fabulous view of the Bay of Kotor with surrounding mountains.

Wonderful staff and service. Fantastic view from our Hotel room. Familiar feel, calm and quiet. 30 minute walk to old town Kotor. Staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was great. Nice little garden to eat in. Pool area intimate and private. We where able to lend bikes for free which was super convienient. A small supermarket close by and several restaurants by the sea within walking distance. All and all, a great holiday retreat. We can really recommend this hotel.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. Definitely book this if you plan to stay around Kotor. The property was very clean and modern and had a cosy feel to it being a small hotel - which is quite unique. The grounds were well kept and we loved seeing the tortoises roaming around everyday. Our room was spacious and kept super clean by the great housekeeping. We had a partial view of the bay which was beautiful. It was around a half an hour walk to Kotor old town, which we enjoyed as it was along the seafront. There are also lots of restaurants along the seafront by the hotel. There was plenty of parking for the hotel which also didn’t cost extra. The staff definitely made the stay great. They were so friendly and happy to help with anything. They helped organise a boat trip which picked us up from the beach by the hotel which saved us walking to Kotor. There was a yummy breakfast selection and you could choose how you wanted your eggs done which were prepared fresh by the chef who did a great job. Overall the staff have put a lot of care into making this a great hotel and it really shows.

Me and my bestie were on a girl's trip in Montenegro, we had so much fun exploring Kotor! We love Hotel Alkima so much, the breakfast is amazing also the lunch, the chef is incredible! The owner of the hotel are soooo friendly and hospitable, Milena is an awesome boss. During one of the days we were staying at Hotel Alkima, we couldn't find any restaurants open because the storm, and she even drove us to the restaurant! Also the staff Susan drove us to the bus station when we checked out, everyone is just so amazing! I highly recommend you guys to stay in Hotel Alkima!

One of the best places in Kotor” Excellent Service. 1. The staff was simply awesome. Took care of each and every thing. Very friendly . 2. The owner of the hotel was very courteous. So friendly and nice person. 3. The chef was adorable, lovely lady. She cooked awesome food and made sure that delicious dishes are served.She was very nice. 4. The location was perfect. On walking distance to the bay. Overall, we had a nice stay at hotel. My rating is Excellent.

This is a really special hotel run by very kind and generous people. It is exceptionally clean and we loved the pool and garden area. Nothing was a problem. The breakfast is fantastic as is the lady who made us omelettes every day. We have teenage children and thought the location was perfect with many restaurants and a supermarket all within walking distance.
