The building's greatest asset is its location. Close to the beach (about 30 m, it is not steep. The nearest beach is small, gravel and grass. There are many small beaches in the area. There was no problem with the place. These are wild beaches, so there are no umbrellas, toilet, shower); close to the old town of Kotor (you can get there on bicycles borrowed from the hosts - you clip on at the gate to the entrance of the old town; easy route - almost flat along the sea. Cab or walk to get there. You can also go by car. There are some parking lots, but there is a traffic jam and it is a waste of time). There are good restaurants next door and a small market very close by. You already have to get to a larger store by car. The apartment is clean. The view from the apartment (second floor) wonderful. Wifi in the apartment working well. There is a parking lot on site. At full occupancy it will be cramped, but probably cars will fit.

I think it is worth renovating the apartments. It affects the perception of the stay. We had a very small bathroom in the apartment. Kitchen equipment modest. In our case there was a fork missing for one person. Balcony with a beautiful view but very cramped for three people.

All the reviews were correct! This is such a great place. Super comfy bed and the most incredible sea view. It was peaceful yet 2 mins to the sea and various restaurants. My favourite was konoba portun but you do have to book. There’s a little convenience store which was enough for bread and milk. The walk into old town is 25 mins walk along the seafront. Personally I left at 7:30 am to walk before the sun set on the road and before the cruise ships came in and it was lovely and quiet to walk round. The hosts were very good at communicating through here before I arrived with questions I had asked. The oool was always a welcome relief after getting ing back in 33 degree heat. Plenty of parasols. They also arranged for a taxi to collect me from the airport €30. Tried a pushbike one day but it was too hot! Yes the place is a bit dated and the shower cubicle small but it was clean and the staff were the best and I would definitely stay again.

The apartment is very beautiful, with a big and well equipped kitchen. The bed is incredibly comfort : it is a king size with a very thick mattress. The view from our bedroom on the second floor was incredible, and you can enjoy it from the balcony which is equipped with a table and some chairs. The AC is present in both the kitchen and the bedroom. Our host, the family Bogdanovic, is very lovely, kind and ready to help. To help us, the first and the last day they drove us from and to the main bus station. The family Bogdanovic provides you some bicyles that we used to ride around Dobrota and Kotor. The pool is very nice. To me the apartement is perfectly placed : it is in Dobrota, which is close enough to Kotor and in the same time far from the crowd and the noise. I will surely come back :)

Really good location, close enough to town that it was a pleasant 25 minute walk and not too far away that it's a right trudge. Also nice and quiet. We loved having a balcony overlooking the bay itself where we could watch the boats come in and out. There's enough food places around for self catering and a cash machine at the bottom of the drive next to the market.

A few really minor things, it needed a chopping board and bread knife for making meals at home but that's it.

Excellent apartment in very good location, the view from balcony is amazing, very friendly and helpful hosts, clean pool area, free bikes to explore city, good restaurants around, very quiet and peaceful part of town

Everything was perfect

You got what was pictured, a clean traditional Balkan apartment with all the amenities needed including a comfortable bed and within a flat 30 minutes walking distance along the bay to Kotor with its scenic view. The pool was also an added advantage to cool off in. The hosts were excellent providing helpful advice on where to go and also things that were happening around town that would impact our stay. The balcony was a great place to watch the world go past including the ocean liners either heading in to dock at the port or just docking in the bay. Also some nice restaurants in the area with bay views.

We loved our stay here. The apartment had excellent air conditioning, and the host was clearly very thoughtful in designing the property for the enjoyment of guests. We were not able to use the pool, gym, or laundry, as we were here only one night. My mother slept on the bigger bed in our room, and she found it to be exceptionally comfortable. We both slept well and enjoyed the room darkening blinds, air conditioning, and soft quilts on the beds. We enjoyed making a hot breakfast and eating it on the porch overlooking the Bay of Kotor, and enjoyed a quick morning swim/float in the bay before we checked out.

We might have enjoyed a second night here. This was one of the most relaxing and productive stays of our vacation, and our short 1 night visit meant we were unable to fully enjoy the facilities.

We stayed at Apt Bogdanovic in 2018, we loved it then and decided to return in 2023. Everything, again, was perfect. The room is kept spotlessly clean with loads of fresh towels provided. There is a well equipped kitchen with dining table if you want to prepare meals. The bed is huge and so very comfortable!! There is loads of storage space for your belongings and a safe for valuables. Our top floor balcony was a big plus for us, we would sit there in a morning with a coffee and in the evening with a cold beer. The views were spectacular, changing throughout the day with the position of the sun. It’s in a great location, a pleasant walk away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. There is a small grocery store 2 mins walk away to buy provisions. There are amazing restaurants at the waterfront very close by. The pool area is a bonus too with comfy sun loungers, a very peaceful place for a refreshing dip after returning from a long hot walk. They also provide folding loungers which we would take down to the water front to relax there. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend Apt Bogdanovic to anyone travelling to this beautiful part of the world.

Bathroom/shower cubicle is a bit on the small side but it wasn’t a problem to us, maybe if you’re a larger person it would be.

The owners were so nice and the property was lovely. The apartments are a tad dated but who cares?! The apartment is right around the corner from the water, with some great little restaurants and a convenience store. It’s about a 25 minute walk to old town Kotor, but it’s a beautiful walk along the water. The pool was lovely and does have a cover if it’s too windy. Because of where it was located, I was able to ask our speedboat operator to pick us up right outside one of the restaurants, right on the water! No having to schlep to old town.
