Well maintained facilities, room nicely decorated and clean, spotless pool area (although the pool is very shallow.)

It’s located in a very noisy avenue (honking all day/night), luckily at check in I was able to get a room on the pool side (quieter). The staff is generally nice and accommodating, but unfortunately for my birthday my partner planned a surprise to be delivered to the room in the morning and the staff didn’t follow through. What a shame…they spoiled it for us…

Was a lovely hotel, and in a great location for wandering around. Lovely furnishings and a fabulous buffet breakfast with delicious local dishes as well as western if you so desire.

As we were a group of friends travelling together, the shower situation is something to make note of. The walls of the shower were tranasparent, and even though there was a curtain to pull across, that only blocked half of the visibility, as the mirrored wall reflected the shower into the bedroom. Perhaps something that should have been mentioned. We were fine as a group of girlfriends, but if it was a work collegue it would have been very awkward. Other side note is the pool isn't heated. Ok for the locals, but at 17C, it was a little chilly for us.

The outdoor pool was perfect for some downtime. Our kids were in the room next door and had a great time. Our room smelled a little mildewy likely due to the AC which if you have allergies, won’t be great. Our kid’s room was fine though. If we were alone, I would have requested to switch rooms. We only had one towel in our room which was odd for a “5 star” hotel but they brought more when we called housekeeping. For US standards, it was more like a 4 star hotel but still enjoyable.

Other than the mildew smell, everything was great.

The hotel is modern, comfortable, and offers a wide range of services. It boasts a good location near the old French colonial area. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. One of the highlights is the pool area, which is quite large for a city hotel and features terraces and a bar.

While the service can sometimes be slow, this seems to be due to language miscommunication. The price-quality ratio of the food and drinks at the bar is below average. Overall, however, the hotel is very good and worth considering for a stay.

Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Zineb checked us in and helped us several times, always with a smile. Teresa, the manager, was wonderful. She also welcomed us at check in and helped us get medical help when our child hurt her ankle. I can’t say enough nice things about how well we were treated. We liked it so much we stayed an extra night. The decor everywhere is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable and so clean. Shower was great. We weren’t able to use the pool, but it looked inviting. We would definitely come back and plan to stay at Barceló hotels elsewhere.

It was all great.

Breakfast was awesome it was more than we expected and the service too each and everyone was caring and courteous we just loved it from the fresh and health juices to the deserts were all good only thing we felt not so good was the english breakfast tea it tasted odd maybe they should change the brand as a tea drinker i didn't like it then i didn't have choice anyway that can be overlooked as rest everything was perfect

choice of Tea could have been better like how they have different coffee they did have green tea etc but that doesn't satisfy me nothing else to bother this is the best place to stay in cassablanca great stay

The staff were amazing and very helpful and attentive. Nabil contacted us prior to arrival to make sure we have a smooth check in and arrival experience. They upgraded our room and offered us complimentary drinks. I'd say that service and attention is 10/10

The hotel is a bit dated and needs refurbishment but the service makes up for that,

1. Location was superb. Easy access to offices (if you are there for business) and to a lot of nearby restaurants. Arab league park is around 900m away (where I went for my daily morning runs), and the Hassan II corniche is about 1.5km away as well. 2. Breakfast spread was good (although it was almost the same every day during our 6 days of stay) 3. Check in process was smooth and the person at the reception was quick to give us a room, even though we checked in 1 hour earlier 4. Gym was ok, with a couple of treadmills, 2 ellipticals and a few other equipment and weights, although early morning, I often found there was no towel available often.

1. Room was weirdly designed. Open shallow wash basin right next to bed, it felt weird. 2. Also quite less space to really do anything in the room. 3. Do not take a pool view room. That's pricier and yet worthless. We were disturbed by the loud music on almost all days from the pool. They have live bands and otherwise loudspeaker music playing in the evening till late night, making it impossible to sleep. 4. They also called us several times to book a hamam, even after we repeatedly refused it. Got quite annoying.

Location, walk to old medina, plenty small eateries. Pharmacy across road exceptional.

Drinks service at dining was confusion. Lemonade was bitter lemon juice+ soda? Room only had 1 cup for tea, when the room serviced only 1 towel left. Had to phone reception twice to have laundry picked up from room. Reception staff good

The pool and surrounds and gym were great and the staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was awesome. Pool well maintained and an oasis after the crazy world outside. When we complained staff were quick to try and fix, but the proactive maintenance left a little to be desired. Room was of a good size and location very central. Gym better than most hotel gyms.

While it has 5 star facilities like a pool , wellness centre and gym - it is not a 5 star hotel. Our room was tired and needed a makeover ( was supposed to have been an upgrde) . The shower leaked over the floor , the loo needed fixing and the place did not feel clean . Gym mats wee greasy. Basic water in room charged for and tea bags heavily rationed. No hooks anywhere to hang up your towels and safe kept malfunctioning.
