Riad Azia is fabulous. We were met at the airport by Monsef a lovely young guy who drove us the 15 mins to Riad Azia and then greeted by Ahmed with a lovely cup of mint tea and homemade biscuit. Ahmed told us about the area and things to do and gave us a map to plan our day, Ahmed is very knowledgeable and is great fun to talk to. The Riad is spotlessly clean and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable, exactly as advertised. The medina and souks are a10 min taxi ride from the Riad and Ahmed or his team are happy to arrange one for you with one of the preferred drivers ( you can then speak to the driver and arrange your trip back) Ok now the best bit!!! The food served is fantastic, we loved every single meal without exception, all traditional and homemade, we loved it. There is so much we could say in praise of this lovely place but I would encourage you to come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed. We did touristy things, we read, we relaxed, we had Moroccan tea brought up to the roof top, we sat by the pool and had a dip and just relaxed in the peace and quiet. Thank you to Ahmed, Issam, Chaime and all the staff for making our first trip to Morocco so perfect and memorable...we will be back x

Coming home

We enjoyed every bit of it, especially the warm welcome and availability of the staff, Ahmed & the entire staff. Very helpful with information out Marrakech and how to move around. Our room and the whole facility was very spacious, clean and well arranged. The breakfast is fresh and made at the moment, really delicious.

Nothing, everything was perfect! Only little thing is that the swimming pool, which was very beautiful, was a little bit cold when the sun was not directly on it, but it seems they are all like that in Marrakech.

We loved our stay here! Not far from the airport, good location with supermarket and Patisserie to the left outside. Minutes in a taxi to the old and new city, both a must visit. Taxi approx £5. Hotel is really cool and clean, lovely bedding and furnishings, food was nicely prepared. I’m sure they wanted to fatten us up 😂. Chaima is beautiful inside and out, so kind and helpful. She speaks brilliant English and understands well. Aissam was very helpful, very informative and spoke really good English. Ahmed was great too. Our room was a king suite, very spacious and had everything. The place was really lovely. The only thing I should note is that the big pool was not available to us so you should ask if this is open.

We couldn’t use the big pool as there’s been disputes with neighbours. You should check this before booking if a pool is essential

Hamza and his entire team were all very kind and welcoming. They made us feel very comfortable at the riad. They arranged for us the airport transfers and also transfers to the town very promptly. The food was amazing and it was traditional Moroccan style cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The kitchen team went out of their way to provide meals everyday, even on our last day they fed us a good lunch before we checked out, this was so kind of them! The massage and facial treatment done for my wife was amazing! The riad was very peaceful and the cats and their kittens were so playful. We will definitely consider going back to this riad on our next trip!

From the moment we booked Riad Azia, we felt happy with our choice. There was immediate communication from the hotel to arrange a free transfer from the airport. The facilities were better than expected and food was delicious. Amazing breakfasts and we could order three courses for lunch and dinner, the menu changed daily. Probably the best part of our time at the Riad was the staff. Every member of staff we met was friendly and very helpful, especially Ahmed and Shaimaa. I would recommend staying here to anyone who is thinking of travelling to Marrakech. It is a short distance by taxi or local bus (5 dirhams) from the Medina, this is a positive as the Medina can be hectic and noisy. We really hope to return with our children next time

Riad Azia is a little oasis and place of calm amongst the bustle of busy life in Marrakesh. Our room was always spotless as was the rest of the Riad and it was great having the swimming pool and plunge pool onsite to cool off after a busy day. Aissam and Ahmed were always happy to help with any issues that we had and the excursions we booked with them to Agafay and the waterfalls were brilliant. The lovely ladies who cooked our meals were amazing too and fully accommodated our veg/vegan diet. The breakfasts were definitely a highlight as was the veg tajine

We had a fantastic stay at Riad Azia, and much of that is thanks to the wonderful host, Khalid. From the moment we arrived, he was incredibly helpful and welcoming. He went out of his way to make our experience smooth and comfortable, even allowing us to switch rooms when we requested it. What really stood out was his support when we had a very early departure – he arranged a taxi for 3:30am and was even up at that hour to let us out and personally say goodbye. That level of care and attention is rare and really appreciated. Khalid is warm, personable, and genuinely wants guests to have the best experience possible. Thanks to him, our stay was stress-free and enjoyable. Highly recommend Riad Azia to anyone visiting – you’ll be well looked after!

Amazing building, quite location, best staff

The food was a massive highlight. All meals were great and a different menu was served for lunch and dinner every day. They were also super-flexible with eating times. The entire Riad and pool area were lovely, we could've quite happily never left the hotel!

It can be awkward travelling to other areas. Public transport is virtually non-existent so you're reliant on taxis. The staff were very helpful arranging cheap taxis to go out, but heading back can be awkward. The Medina is walkable but not pleasant in high heat.

We had the most wonderful stay at Riad Azia recently. Shaima and the rest of the team were incredible and couldn't do enough for us. From the super helpful airport pick up the the amazing hospitality everything was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to return. We were welcomed on arrival with Moroccan tea and fresh biscuits before being shown around the beautiful Riad, the grounds and our gorgeous rooms. Each room was spacious, well laid out and super comfortable. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the breakfast was amazing and felt like such a treat each morning. We ate lunches and evening meals at the Riad too, choosing from a menu the night before. Everything was superb, fresh, tasty and with fantastic attention to detail. There's a supermarket and bakery a few mins walk away too which was very handy. We particularly loved sitting reading up on the roof terrace after our trips out, total relaxation after a busy morning/afternoon. Thank you to all at Riad Azia for making our trip so very special, the hospitality and warmth shown by Shaima and the team really make staying in this Riad an unforgettable experience.
