The cabin was well laid out, it had everything we needed. "Small but perfectly formed" would describe it. The staff were very helpful, check in was done in a flash. It is a budget friendly option for one or two nights. The camp felt safe, and the grounds were well kept. Lovely to have our ownvTV with plenty of viewing choice.

My own fault, but I hadn't realised we had to use a toilet block. But that was very close to us, so not really a problem. There were 3 steps up to the cabin door, which I found a bit difficult with knee problems. I didn't realise about the steps. Some information about how to work the TV would have been helpful. It took me quite a few minutes to work it out, but I got there.

I really loved how you guys had a playground for kids to play around on and everything was amazing

It would be lovely if they got the vending machine working properly and if they had towels in our room (Cabin 1) Also parking for that cabin would have been amazing. Also gaming room needs more things to play with there instead of just ping pong. 🏓 And if the place had better quality wifi for everyone thats staying, washing machines and dry should be free and not charged for. And probably more washing machines and driers. It would be lovely if the cabins or something was a little more spaced out

The tent was lovely inside and had everything we needed. We were lovely and warm even on a particularly windy night, with cool temperatures outside. You can hear the waves from the beach overnight which is wonderful! The site facilities were all really well presented and close by to the tents. Staff were friendly and made sure we were comfortable with the tent in the strong winds - it’s a very sturdy tent so only the noise could have been an issue, nothing a pair of ear plugs couldn’t fix. Would definitely recommend!

The tent remained fairly light inside even overnight due to the general lighting on the site so if you’re sensitive to any light overnight, take an eye mask.

We used the Glamping tent for our stay during our honeymoon travelling the country. Up on arrive our bed was covered in hearts and there was wine in the fridge. This was very sweet and made our stay more special. The bed was super comfy and warm. We had a lovely stay. The female member of staff was lovely and very welcoming.

Communal toilet area was a bit run down however there were signs to say they were going to improve them. The rest of the site was very nice and I believe the beach will be more pleasant in the peak season.

I stayed at Foxton Beach Holiday Park in April for 2 nights while my son rode at Flips MX park for Junior Motorcross Nationals. I rented a Boat Shed cabin which was lovely. It was small but very clean and perfectly fitted out for 1 person, and it was very close to Foxton Beach where I walked each morning. I felt really safe in the Holiday Park by myself and I thought the shared amenities were clean and up to date. I left something in my room and the staff were amazing about sending it back to me. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend the Park to my friends and family. Thank you!

Its a bit from from the town center where groceries and necesseties can be found. Must be reading for camping style and must have your own car.

Great location, amazing staff and a super comfy bed. We stayed in one of the family cabins. Our youngest was sick during the night all over his top blanket. Didn’t make it to the sink in time. I had left the blanket out on the porch due to the smell and time of the night. As I came out of the room in the morning the staff had already found it and was taking it to be cleaned. Very understanding staff. Replaced the bedding quickly and followed up later in the day to ask how he was. Thank you very much.

Close to where I needed to be

Lily wasn't very informative during booking in. The heater and hair dryers didn't work. No paper towels to dry hands in the toilets. The cabin had a musty smell on arrival. No clean towels on arrival. No milk No Milo low on sugar. 1 key for 4 guests. The owner was very kind polite and professional. He made up for all the dislikes and gave an unexpected refund, not requiring the accommodation as long as we thought.

So I booked a large tent at Foxton Beach hoping to give my kids the experience of ‘camping’. I booked a domed wotsit, glamping thingy. I assumed (via my own childhood experience in Ireland), that glamping meant there might be a zip on the tent…or possibly back up poles for the obligatory tent collapse in the middle of a downpour. But no…we rock up to something out of ‘safari on crack’! The staff insisted we were in the right place and we were the first ever booking. So I’ll let the ‘fresh new smell’ slide this one time. Never in my life have I seen such wanton decadence…in a tent! How am I ‘sposed to ‘harden’ the kids up with Boho kitsch and an over-indulgence in rugs and throws. Don't think I didn't see you slinking away with yer Farmers bags bulging with luxury homeware, ninja decorating lady. My kids now think that all campsites come with double beds, side tables and a bloomin occasional cabinet. I ask ye? And don't get me started on ‘powered site’. We had our own cable, creatively hidden with more chic woven rugs, supplying us with a constant supply of lighting, heating and kettle boiling. Yes there was a kettle too! And a feckin plunger. And don't get me started on the WIFI, not that the kids would have noticed the abundance of potential screen time as they were outside the entire weekend. My only hope is that the kids' upcoming school camping trip will knock some reality back into their heads, as they’re not going anywhere near your place. If you want ‘real’ camping with sodden campground, leaky tents and feck all to do, this is not the place to go.

The accommodation & facilities were all 5 star. Always kept really clean. The location is perfect for the beach, playground park for kids, great walking tracks near by. There are a couple of yummy fish n chip takeaways, cafe & a little restaurant/bar at the end of Holben Parade. The staff were so friendly, efficient & knowledgeable of what Foxton Beach has to offer. Our whaanau stayed in the boat shed cabins with shared bathrooms. The cabins were amazing, so worth the money & the bathroom facilities were always clean, no matter what time of the day you used them. Highly recommend Foxton Beach Holiday Park. Just realised I was enjoying it so much that I never took any photo's 🤦🏾‍♀️ Value for money, 5 star service & accommodation.
