The lovely receptionist was great - really friendly and approachable :) The room was clean and comfortable for our stay :)

1. Would have been nice to have a packet of complimentary biscuits for each guest instead of having to share one. 2. A larger electric jug would save time from having to refill and re-heat the water. 3. Guests who show total disregard for others by arguing and yelling at ridiculous hours in the morning (3am). There were families, children and senior citizens staying and no-one should have to put up with that irresponsible behaviour.

Good location not far from CBD. Rooms were reasonably quiet despite college sports teams also staying in complex. Heating worked well for the cooler mornings, shower pressure was satisfactory, spa bath was a nice touch as was the coffee machine. Daily servicing was good too. Receptionist was very helpful.

While the main double bed was fine for adults the single beds are clearly not up to the task. OK for kids. Some of the furniture/decor has been damaged from previous guests and unaddressed. Carpet, while in good condition requires a number of spot/stain removals. Car parking was plentiful but unsecure and vulnerable once sports teams are allowed to practice their ball sports within.

Excellent location, a very tidy operation and I like that they’ve prioritised the guest rooms/internal hotel for upgrade investments. I can understand why booking.com has them as a partner for their rewards programme. Don’t let the outer/older building fool you, this has been fully modernised and has excellent facilities. Good value for money. On side note which shouldn’t really matter much for accommodation but the TV technology was incredible for watching Prime/Netflix/TVNZ On Demand etc, I’ve never seen such an integrated/easy to use system beyond Auckland’s 5 Stars before and I stay everywhere on late notice if the price is fair/worth me staying btw - it might have just been luck for the room I had or maybe it’s standardised.

We had oaid for breakfast incl in the booking.com booking but on the following morning (Sunday) the restaurant was closed, luckily there a staff member who was able to get our request translated by a person on the phone and went ahead and got the breakfast sorted.. even had it brought up to our room..bad communication between booking.com and the motel itself.. pays to double check with the staff all of your requests as you check in.. will know this for future.. also the lovely pod coffee machine only had enough for one person.. be nice if there was enough fir both people and maybe another lil packet of cookies also so 1 each b nice.. and some also artificial sweetener available for those who can't use sugar.

Last minute booking to have a break from long distance driving. It was perfect. Needed a comfortable bed, tv & a quiet space - got exactly that. The carpark was almost full when I arrived but the entire time, rarely heard any other guests. Bed was very comfortable & room was clean. Nice bathroom. Note: upstairs rooms are only accessible by stairs.

Netflix didn’t work on the TV at all & the wifi kept cutting out. However was only there for one night

We were earlier than expected but checking in was no problem. Thumbs up to the young lady on reception - very friendly and welcoming. Also appreciated how she was happy to answer ALL of my questions :) The room was very clean and the bed was ultra comfortable. The outside temperature dropped later in the evening but the room was nice and cosy. Even though the motel is on a main thoroughfare and there were other guests, it was really quiet :) The location was great for us too as we were in town for a speedway meeting.... just a stone's throw away.

The only real thing that disappointed was the lack of live sports channels.... delayed coverage sucks as you have to stay away from other media forms (radio, computers etc) so you don't hear the scores. The main game (ABs vs RSA) was ok as it was set to play early in the morning.

The staff were friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to check in early. The room was spacious with a well equipped kitchen area. There is a large supermarket a 5 minute walk away.

The chairs and table set up is not designed for eating at (there is a restaurant within the motel). The patio area is a bit neglected.

Ideal location for our event, clean and roomy. Friendly greeting on arrival.

Only bone to pick is that the fridge freezer would make random loud plasticy noises on and off during the night ( a bit like someone rustling around, hard to explain) therefore didn't get the best night's sleep. I am a light sleeper though to be fair :). Wouldn't have been so bad if it was a constant hum etc.

Room had everything you need, we'll laid out and the two comfy chairs to watch tv and the balocony are added bonuses not often seen in hotel! Friendly staff and even had the choice of plunger or dolce gusto coffee in the room. Lovely place to stay.

While appreciated the availability of the heatpump, I had hope there might be a spare blanket available - it wasn't that cold since there had been afternoon sun so I think a blanket would have been fine without the need to used a heatpump. Location is close to stadium (?) with stockcars or similar on, which was loud-ish, but it was finished not too late so sound wasn't ongoing.

If you're needing a great place to stay that is not too much of a walk for town plus been geat vale for your $. You get an extremely comfortable bed and one of the biggest Tvs I have seen in a room. For those who like to refresh themselves, the bathroom is nice and big and shower had very good water pressure. Staff are very friendly and alway willing to help make your stay better as they go the extra mile and above and beyond. They have meet our expectations. 😁

The one downside is there is a bowling center right next door, so you can get a bit of noise from time to time. But, the room does a good job at keeping in the noise. Also, from time to time, there's some events that are held at the events center across the road.
