Reception friendly and professional. Was immediately at desk upon arrival and at checkout. Even though the motel is near to SH1 and sanson junction the bathroom and kitchen room both have solid doors and there is no discernable noise at night - my son and I had a perfect sleep in the queen and single beds. Room plain but decor nice and everything clean and cared for - bed linen nice, pillows and beds very comfortable. Plenty of parking right outside unit. All in all, it is a very good quality and affordable motel.

Basic decent size room ideal for short stay

The only downfall was 5:00 am. Rude awakening from occupied unit next door, can hear conversation clear as day..door between wall should be sound proof. Prefer coffee and hot chocolate sachet instead of jars. The heater was loud.

Basic hotel with all amenities provided. Very clean. The owner kindly offered extra time at check out as well as use of washing machines. Bed was comfy, staff very nice and friendly. Decent pricing and good location between torongaro national park and Wellington

Perfect location on our way from Papamoa to the ferry in Wellington. Absolutely delicious dinner cooked at short notice as I didn't realise meals are normally pre-ordered by the truck drivers.

The staff was excellent and very accommodating.

The musty smell, could do with an over haul, and although there was a fan it was still very muggy.

Great place to put head down for the night at a fair price. Was comfortable and clean. We just came and went and slept the night which is what we expected for a truckstop motel.

The shower head was way too low even my kids had a giggle about it. It's a little noisy with traffic.

Very central to everything, and having lived there in my younger years......always lots to catch up on Have stayed here before. 😊.

Motel is rather dated but beds are crisp and clean and as we were attending a local function that was all we required.

Appreciated we could arrive earlier than normal check in time. Our event was in Bulls - this was the closest available accommodation. Comfortable stay - no hassle entry/exit - Room had everything that we required. Clean kitchenette and bathroom/toliet.

Perhaps a bit of a stretch in their advertising. The actual no. of "SKY" channels was not as high as that advertised - not a problem for us as we only "crashed" the evening however might be something other travellers would have an issue with.
