The room was clean and quiet. A fan was in the closet, which was nice because it got quite hot in there during the day.

The mattress was very squishy and bouncy. They need to invest in some new ones. I also was a bit taken aback when twice when I got back to my room after being away all day, there was urine in my toilet. The second time I had new towels and the bed covers were pulled up. And then I discovered the toilet seat was up and there was again urine in the toilet. I am a girl and don't ever put my seat up. I just found it weird; it wasn't necessarily off-putting because I knew it had to be staff and not just random people off the street (except that the first time, clearly someone had let themself into my room just to use my toilet when there was a public toilet right next door to my room. No new towels or anything. So weird! And why wouldn't they flush??).

An experience in a genuine old fashioned hotel. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable. It was easy to heat with the provided plug in heater as it was a cold frosty night. The separate bathroom was clean. Reasonable value for money.

Very steep massive staircase, difficult to climb with suitcases. Very threadbare carpets in corridor, faded grandeur evident. Separate bathroom was very cold with no heating, for a cold frosty night. Needed to use 3 different keys for various doors, a challenge to work out which one was needed each time..

Did not have breakfast. Walking distance to have alook around town. If they had entertainment down in the bar which could be noisy we were notified by email.

There was nothing that we didn't like 😕 if we are back down that way again we would definitely stay again. 👍

Wonderful Professional, friendly Staff, room & ensuite clean, and everything was provided that one would need. Food very good and very affordable. Overall a wonderful experience in one of our few classic old Hotels.

N/A Impressed that they stress that Friday night’s can be noisy, as they had live music that night. But cannot fault our stay. Value for money.

Excellent facilities and must have been a stunning place in its day

Was tired and old but really it was a great place to stay.. staff were really good, beds were comfortable, shower was excellent pressure, bar and people were really nice… would definitely stay again

The staff was really nice and friendly. The location is great, walk distance to most of the shops, resturaunts and pubs. It is also easy to park around the hotel.

It felt a bit weird that the sink is in the room right beside the bed.

Quiet room despite staff apologizing for live music that night. I didn't hear a thing! Comfortable room and clean bathroom next door.

No staff around in the morning and had a struggle with luggage coming downstairs

Bit nervous about people walking around going past your room at night. To be expected because of the type of accommodation.

Convenient in middle of Fielding, close to Cafe and restaurants and Civic centre where we were attending an event. Hotel contacted me that it may be a little noisy as they were having a function in the bar but didn't find it any noisier than any hotel situated in the middle of a town, Hotel is a little bit shabby but room and beds where really comfortable and good value for money.

The Tv wouldn’t wirk properly , was annoying a little. Plus needs an extra blanket in the cupboard as the first night was freezing I had the windows shut , I usually like a cold bedroom but this was freezing Rooms
