A very warm and friendly greeting by Manager Deka, complete with local restaurant recommendations and local walks. A beautiful and very clean apartment with the heater on to warm us up on a cold winters day. Great lay out, with more than we could want or need. A quiet space in lovely nature, thinking that you are the only people there as it is so private. The spa bath was the epitome of the stay - alongside Sky TV, heating throughout and super comfy beds and pillows. The Fairways is the complete package, we will be back!!!

That we were only staying for one night. Next time it will be 2.

A modern building of apartments operating on "hotel" model. 2 stayed 2 nites in 2x2 rooms apartment. Very clean apartments, spacious & comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, and apartments come with washer & dryer. Beautiful mountain views & green golf course greenery. Quiet location just 5mins drive away from Kaikoura town center of dining, cafes options. Very friendly & helpful staff, provided /shared their personal favourite dining, cafes & things to do in Kaikoura. Easy & fast checkin, numerous carparking availability. We love the place & definitely a very possibility of our return.

Nothing not to dislike

We loved this place! This was our favorite accomodation (best out of 7!) of our holiday and we would definitely come back! Location: Just outside of Kaikoura town (5mins drive), quiet 2 mins walk from the coast, with lots of birds. The place is spacious, very clean, modern, well maintained and cosy (fire place) apartment (we stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment), with fully equipped kitchen, aircons and 2 bathrooms. The staff is very nice and the lady at reception was absolutely lovely and helped us by sharing tips about ways how we could explore the wildlife in the area. We asked for an extra bed which fitted easily in the second bedroom between the twin beds. Wifi was great too!

Lovely spacious apartment with a well decked out kitchen and cozy lounge with the big gas heater. Nice and quiet area and a very short drive into the township. I'm likely to come back here, we had a couple of nights but it's the sort of place that would be a comfortable base of operations for a week of exploring the area. The apartment's private BBQ area is a nice touch and under different circumstances I would like to have taken advantage of it. We were provided a little cot for our infant and it was a good sturdy portable jobby, felt safe for him.

Some small things: heat pump internal unit louvres squeeking loudly, some doors need an oil, couches getting a bit old and too soft for my liking (I'd imagine oldies would struggle to get out of them).

Location was great, beside the golf course but nice and quiet, surrounded by lovely gardens Spacious apartment, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms with spacious showers and heating, one bathroom has a bath Great kitchen with all necessities for cooking if preferred Short drive into town with some lovely eating venues

So much to like! Great friendly welcome and brilliant location. The apartment had two bedrooms with two ensuites - both very clean and well stocked with equipment. Bed was super comfy 🙂

One bedroom can be locked off, and had it's own kettle/fridge etc and air con. Unfortunately the bedroom attached to the main lounge doesn't have its own air con - unit in the lounge only, so the bedroom was a little too warm.

Loved our 2 bedroom apartment. There was room for us and a separate room for kids. The rooms were modern, warm, and clean. The location was a quick 2 min drive to the town center. How awesome was 3 tvs. Post walk, everyone could watch what they wanted.

Nicest accommodation I have stayed at for a long time. Very small wear and tear but loved our accommodation.

Clean, fresh and modern. In a nice quiet residential area with parking- suited us but you do need to drive to get to town which might not suit everyone.

If you book a studio, it’s connected via adjoining (locked) door to the apartments. We were lucky the apartment at ours was empty, but it would feel a bit awkward if not. Hairdryer didn’t work also, and was no bath mat and shower soaked the rest of the bathroom.

Great apartments with well stocked kitchens in a lovely setting. Everything was very comfortable.

We had booked a 2 bedroom (1 room with 2 single beds and 1 with a double) with an extra cot. We didn't get this, instead we got a 1 bedroom that connected to a studio. It wasn't ideal because the person on the cot had to go through another bedroom to get to a bathroom. We asked the front desk but there were no other options available at the time. It was a bit frustrating as we felt the booking option of a 2 bedroom was deceiving.

Nice covenient location, easy parking near room. Room was a very tidy studio, comfortable bed, nice shower. Perfect for our one night stay. Reception got us a table for dinner on a holiday weekend which was very nice.

Sliding doors as the room entrance seems to be a thing in New Zealand, and they always seem to not be maintained and very, very difficult to open. A little lube now and then would go a long way.
