Very clean, staff friendly, and helpful.

I asked if they had topper pads a few weeks prior, and they said yes, as we both had bad backs and couldn't sleep on hard beds. Got the reply for both beds, they said yes, they can help. We arrived after a long drive, one bed was soft enough and didn't need one. The other was rock-hard and didn't have a topper pad so I had to use my blankets. I asked the staff why they didn't provide any topper pads. They said they don't supply them. I find that they think a mattress protector is it. No two different things. Shame as they gave me 3 duvet inners. It was still hard.

It was great to be able to have one apartment that I could share with my parents, made things very easy and was great having the two separate rooms, with a lounge area. Room was clean and tidy, just a couple of things that I thought could've been better - see section below - thank you

We arrived in the dark, and it was difficult to see the steps (especially for my elderly parents) at that time of night. Perhaps an outside light could have been turned on, or a sensor light be installed?? The television in the twin single room did not respond to the remote. Reception provided me a new battery for the remote, but that didn't help at all. I think this needs to be looked at. Finally, the bathroom door might need some 'CRC', it was squeaky in the middle of the night when people were up to use the bathroom. Sorry - all very minor, but perhaps you are unaware of this as you don't tend to stay in your own properties.

Service: The staff, however, were very friendly and accommodating. They patiently addressed all our concerns and provided clear, polite explanations throughout our stay. Room: The room quality really depends on what you book. On the first day, we stayed in two double rooms, which were small, poorly equipped, and uncomfortable. However, the two-bedroom family suite we booked on the second day was a completely different experience—spacious, well-furnished, and very comfortable.

During my travels in New Zealand, this was the first hotel I encountered that required a copy of my credit card. While I understand it’s for the hotel’s financial protection, it made me feel uneasy, especially after finding the kettle broken on the first night. I was constantly worried that I might be held responsible for any unnoticed damages, leading to potential charges. Honestly, the hotel’s amenities were quite basic, with nothing particularly high-end to justify such strict policies.

Rang reception if I could drop off my mbike earlier at 11.30am to go out with friends.and was warmly permitted to do so. Friendly phone manner, clean and comfortable beds.Asked whether we wanted top or bottom room.

On arrival with friends to escort us on mbikes the other older receptionist was not so friendly. Didnt like the bike noise and looks and accused us of being in a gang. It was a long way to travel in rain to be greeted like that. There was more noise from families and drinking folks having a great time and no complaints from me there.

Easy, friendly check-in at reception and a cosy, clean, conventional room with a lovely little patio to sit outside but facing a carpark and back of the hotel building. Basic amenities with a super comfy beds and great shower with good water pressure and little bathroom condiments which was nice. Overall we enjoyed our overnight stay.

I had small children and an elderly family member with me, so the stairs weren't ideal and quite narrow to walk up and down on. The rubbish bin was very small and we couldn't place much rubbish inside it at all. . A bigger bin for a small family would be more ideal rather than a small bathroom sized one. Also, there wasn't enough dishes or cutlery to use. Only one teaspoon to share between us and no plates. . Other than that it was a pleasant stay. Thank-you :-)

The beds are huge and super comfy, location is convenient, pool was warm and clean, had kitchen, cleaners were really friendly.

Carpet was a bit worn. Upon checkin the 2 girls were doing something on the computer together and left me standing at counter completely ignored. They could have looked at me and said they would just be a minute. First day we took towels out to swim and they didn’t replace more to the room, had to ask for some more.

The hotel is tide and in great location, less than 10 minutes drive to some of my favourite restaurants. Front dest is lovely and helpful. I like the setting of the room, bright and light, not may fancy colors that may cover the dirt like some of the cheap places that I stayed. There is a very simple way to tell if it is a good hotel or not, just check all the furniture and bedding colors, if it is single and light colored, and bright room, then it is normally a good place.

Nothing, it is just good for me, great value for the money.

Nice clean room. Good facilities - Has everything you need. Fridge/microwave/tea&coffee etc. Bed was comfy, everything was clean.

Not great when it comes to parking, pretty confined spaces but do-able. Staff didn't engage at all. It was merely a a transaction to them. No "welcome" or "are you here for work or personal - Here's some attractions in Nelson." It was just, here's you key, here's your room, Thanks. And when checking out it was "Your all good to go" from the manager and that was it. I'm not a smoker, but thought it was unusual that part of the smokers area is next to the gas bottles out the back of the rooms. Bathroom has frosted glass but is facing the restaurant so not ideal if you don't want people watching your silhouette while showering.

Comfortable and warm rooms with kitchen facilities. We had breakfast at the restaurant on one of the mornings which was tasty and good service especially as it was busy. 5mins drive in to Nelson - good location.

We had booked two studio rooms for 4 people and got given rooms on opposite sides of the hotel which didn’t make much sense as it was one booking. We arrived late to find a school party had taken over most of the hotel & had some entertainment going on in the conference room which was below one of our rooms. Thankfully the party wrapped up by 10.30pm so didn’t disturb us too much but would have been nice to have been informed when we made the booking & to have put us in rooms close to each other and on the quieter side of the hotel.

The location is perfect. The room was HUGE as we had a 3 bedroom 2 x bathroom room 20. It's just awesome. 2 private balconies and a spa bath. Large fridge. Great kitchen. Highly recommended.

The only thing missing was electric blankets and extra blankets. An extra mirror in the middle room would be very handy also. There was some road noise in the morning, but if you asked for a back room there would be no noise. Really great hotel.
