The room was lovely, spacious and light and felt very tropical sitting on the balcony being surrounded by foliage. Seems on the slightly more expensive side but I think that's the case across NZ, that accommodation is a bit overpriced in general. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and it was useful having the little kitchenette in the room.

The TV didn't work properly, we were unable to change channels at all. Other than that everything was great.

As we were staying a week the host kindly upgraded us to an apartment rather than a studio. It was well equipped with virtually everything we needed for our stay. The garden space was a bonus as was undercover parking. Spotlessly clean and rooms serviced daily. Had aircon

Decor was a bit dated. A washing machine in the apartment would have been good.

Clean and tidy, great easy walking distance to town, but most importantly it is dog friendly. The apartment was also ideal as we had the lawn out the front where we could tie the dogs up on some grass as opposed to have them inside the whole time. (The apartments are up stairs so you only have the balcony for them)

Great location. Our unit was quite spacious as well. Only about 2 mins walk from the beach and about 10 mins walk from the centre. Owners are very nice and friendly. They also welcome house trained pets which is a bonus so you can bring you fur babies with you.

Nothing really. Units are a bit old but I'm sure the owners do their best to keep it well maintained.

The owner of Alfa Boutique Hotel picked us up in downtown Paihia where the Intercity bus dropped us off. She welcomed us and orienting us to this small town. Wendy is a sweetheart. The bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning quiet and needed. Sitting on the balcony in the early evening, catching the breeze was a lovely way to spend the early evening.

Good location within easy flat walking distance of shops, restaurants and passenger ferry in the lovely seaside village of Paihia Owner was friendly and welcoming. Did have a slightly old-fashioned feel but clean, comfortable and had all we needed for a three night stay

Once things got moving in the morning, the road was quite busy - but that does affect all the accommodation in this area

Superb location, right at the start of Paihia. Staff are warm and welcoming, and the apartment is spacious and a very well-equipped kitchen, there is a great cafe, bar and restaurant meters away and of course the beach right across road. This place was great stay and value for Money!

A cute motel, very close to the central area of Paihia. The owners were lovely and very accommodating. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. I would highly recommend this motel for anyone who wants great value when they are travelling to Paihia.

We didn't have breakfast, but everything was working well and we enjoyed the space of the room, and cool balcony. Handy to walk around Paihia and to ferries, dining, etc....

No negatives .....Very happy with the Motel and the hosts ... helpful and friendly.

A little messy around the guest laundry and carpark area. The host was a little aloof, not knowing much about our booking, needing to be shown our confirmation and payment emails, then complaining about having to retrieve the money
