We stayed here for one night so that we could visit Kapiti Island. The room was a nice size. We appreciated the nice breakfast with bread and many cereal choices. It had been a bit chilly and our hostess turned on the heat in the room so that it was warm when we arrived. There was even a hot tub we could use if we wanted, but we did not have time for it. The house was easy to find with clear instructions. Our hostess was home when we arrived and showed us the room. We arrived via the local train from Wellington and took the local bus to a nearby stop. We did not have a car. The location was great - close to the beach and to many restaurants.

Nothing really. It was a nice place to stay for the night.

Great location, only a one minute walk to Paraparaumu Beach; the room was private, secluded, which suited us; the bathroom facilities were very clean and efficient; wonderful to have breakfast foods available, along with coffee/tea supplies. We appreciated the leafy-tree environment at the back of the room which cooled the temperature down.

The parking area is different - when we arrived, the local bowling club had a huge turn-out so the natural parking area was already used, but which was vacated later on in the evening.

It was as described,lovely and clean, perfect for a quick over night stay. Quite roomy and breakfast goodies if you wanted them.

That the door to our room couldn't be locked off from the rest of the house when we were out. It had a hall way to their garage and laundry which our room entrance was off. It was locked to outside though and we could lock from inside when we were there. It wasn't a problem but a little unusual, wouldn't stop me from staying again though.

The hosts were quite welcoming and polite. My husband and I were thrilled to see those pretty interiors and the well-maintained property. Nice outdoor area to chill with a few beers. I was a bit disappointed in the beginning to find out that the spa was non-operational (temporarily) due to some leakage problem. On expressing my disappointment, the hosts were kind enough to apologise with a cute card and a box of chocolates to make it up as it was my birthday too.

Temporarily non-operational spa

The private spa was wonderful. We were given bread, spreads, biscuits, milk, juice, tea, coffee and breakfast cereals. Funny it is advertised as a "Dream excape for 2". It was myself and my daughter (21yr). We had a fab time.

I have nothing at all to complain about. If I really wanted to get nit picky, I could say that the car parking space wasn't very big next to the house - but hey - I had the option of parking on the grass verge.

Our stay was so good, quiet , relaxing for everyone pets and all. Having the spa available at any time was the best ever. The bed was comfortable no back problems at all and the reading selection was great. Breakfast was as it should be, light but satisfying. Great location being close to the beach awesome all-round.

For us we enjoyed our stay at your B&B

The location for paraparaumu, Raumati and surrounds was perfect. A spa under cover and enclosed is close to the room (but very quiet, no noise) and the room has a private entranceway. Very pet friendly, lovely continental breakfast. Very comfy bed, everything was well presented, lovely and clean. Very quiet and peaceful. A little fridge, kettle, toaster, breakfast table, comfy chairs and a generous book shelf. tea, coffee milk and juice as well as bread for toast, cereals and porridge. Perfect for a solo or couple stay for business or holiday or retreat and time out.

Everything was great

Nice quiet apartment. It had everything we needed plus lots of extras. We didn't use the spa pool but it looked nice. Bed was very comfy, it was a good night's sleep. There was a good choice of breakfast food and juice was provided too. Location is close enough to the town centre to walk in but far enough away to be quiet.

Location was extremely convenient for us coming from the Interislander ferry. There wasn't an issue with us arriving after 6.30pm. We were able to stroll to the village for dinner... 10 minutes away. Lovely warm and welcoming accommodation. It was great to soak in the spa after dinner and then peruse the large book collection. Wonderful to have real coffee for breakfast! Thank you for a great stay. We hope to return and stay longer so we can read some of the books!

Having to leave after only one night

On arrival the room was lovely and warm (we arrived around 7pm) and the lights on - very welcoming. The spa was delightful (a great way to unwind after travelling). This was our second stay - as we stayed on our travel down and then again as we travelled back - as our first stay was absolutely everything we needed and an exceptional stay. Thoroughly recommend.
