Fantastic location across from Grieghallen, perfect for attending events. Safe area with nearby grocery stores. Basic rooms: no TV or mini fridge, but shared kitchen available. Friendly staff and easy self-service kiosk for check-in/out. Overall: Great location and helpful staff. I would stay here again. Thank you!

Unfortunately, upon checking into my room, I noticed the bathroom wastebin hadn't been emptied and there was a stain on the sheet. However, the staff in the main office promptly addressed these issues when I reported them. Wi-Fi connectivity was inconsistent, so I recommend downloading content in advance if you plan to watch anything. Despite these minor inconveniences, the hotel offers good budget value in an excellent location.

I appreciated: - The room, which looked completely new, was very clean, and featured stylish furnishings. - The hotel’s location, just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and close to two supermarkets. - The overall cleanliness of the hotel. - The vending machine, offering a selection of food and drinks. - The digital check-in and check-out, which allowed me complete independence. - The good value for money.

I should mention that I have already stayed at a Citybox hotel before, so I know and appreciate this type of property. On this occasion, however, I was a bit disappointed by: - The size of the room, which felt too small to be called a double, even a small double. - The communal areas, which were rather cramped and not very comfortable to use. - The absence of a bath mat.

We had a great stay! It's next to the road but you couldn't really hear the traffic! The room is basic but more than enough. We had an extra bed for our 6 year old so it was a bit cozy but we were exploring a lot. It's in walking distance to everything! We walked about 10-15 min to the harbour. Super easy to find your way around and back! Also easy to find when you get off the airport bus or train. Would recommend it and will book again if we ever come back to Bergen.

You get a confirmation Code by text before your arrival. I was lucky because I just got it before we boarded the plane and remebered it when we arrived. I think you should send it earlier. We saw 2 different groups not finding the right code.

Good location, close to tram stop and train station. Clean (but small) room, Luggage storage room, close to restaurants, everything fine! Except.... breakfast....

Breakfast is served by a neighbouring café. You have 3 options to choose from, which differ only a little bit from each other. Still, I had to repeat my order for two times and it took 45 minutes before it was served, just a simple sandwich bacon, eggs and some small vegetables. Tables are not cleaned. When you ask why it takes so long, they answer that it is very busy, while there are no more than 15 people in the breakfast room. What do you mean, busy? Very bad experiece for that price. I made a formal complaint at the hotel itself, they apologized for the bad service of this external company, and promised me a refund for the breakfast. never received it. Really disappointing.

Breakfast was not provided but there was an attached cafe where we could pay and eat. Additionally they had a pantry with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster. The super market was across the road where you could purchase and then prepare your own breakfast in the pantry. Plus it had work area with tables and chairs or a sofa where one could just relax. The central station was just a 5 minute walk, bus, tram were at walking distance too. We walked over for the cruise.

Probably if the room was a bit more spacious and had a cupboard and proper side tables it would have been more convenient.

The amenities and kitchen setup were quite good. The room was clean. There are USB and USB-C ports in lot of places, this was so good to charge all the accessories. The luggage storeroom service was quite helpful. Mostly all the staffs are enthusiastic and helpful on queries, but one (night) staff was not helped much for my travel adaptor issue. I got the same help on next day from different staff. For porter service, the staffs were so helpful to print the label and they themself did the label on my luggage, so that porter service could easily identify the luggage. We need to do the check-in and check-out via kiosk and it was so smooth. The checkout was over in two seconds.

In the economy room, we have slanting roof and it was so uncomfortable to roam around the room. I hit my head multiple times on that slanting roof.

The location is excellent—just a short walk from the central train station and airport bus stop, which made getting around very easy. The hotel is well managed, with a welcoming lobby that has comfortable seating, card games, and puzzles. The shared kitchen was clean and practical, with a coffee machine (200kr per cup), vending machine, kettle, and paper cups all available. The room was clean, modern, and well furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. There’s also an outdoor terrace on the 5th floor, great for relaxing when the weather is nice. Overall, a great experience. I’d definitely stay here again.

The price. Also communication was prompt. We knew what it was, budget accommodation and it served it's purpose for 1 night. If you had no big bags you could walk to the light rail. Bed very comfortable.

We knew you had to pay for coffee, umbrellas and it is completely self check in self service, if you don't have roaming it would be hard. No TV, no in room coffee or fridge, no shampoo conditioner, toilet paper dispenser like one you would find in a public bathroom. We knew all of this. You can't walk to light rail if you have bags you will destroy the wheels. This was the main reason we booked was walking distance to station. Definitely not doable with our luggage. You are 15 to 20 minutes to Bryggen but given it rains so much and is cold, take this into consideration

The place was great and met all my expectations. The room was clean, and it was within walking distance to all the main points of the city. The check-in and check-out process was easy and convenient. The staff were nice and helpful.

The only downside of the room was the lack of air conditioning, a fan, or the ability to open the windows. The AC wasn’t working, and after taking a shower, the entire room became very humid. Since we couldn’t open the windows to lower the temperature, I had to leave the door open to the corridor for about 45 minutes until the room cooled down. It would also be great to have a small TV in the room.

The hotel was new and clean. Comfortable beds There is a kitchen area with hot water and some vending machines.

Check in was a difficult process, and the staff was not that helpful. I never received a code to check in with, and was not able to check in 45 minutes before 15.00. This is ok, but I was not able to check in at 15.30 either, because cleaners were still cleaning the room! I had to wait for help for 20 minutes, and had to complain to be able to actually get a room. I was travelling with a three year old, and we rellay needed that room! In the end we were upgraded because our room wasnt finished even 45 minutes after I was supposed to.
