The amenities and kitchen setup were quite good. The room was clean. There are USB and USB-C ports in lot of places, this was so good to charge all the accessories. The luggage storeroom service was quite helpful. Mostly all the staffs are enthusiastic and helpful on queries, but one (night) staff was not helped much for my travel adaptor issue. I got the same help on next day from different staff. For porter service, the staffs were so helpful to print the label and they themself did the label on my luggage, so that porter service could easily identify the luggage. We need to do the check-in and check-out via kiosk and it was so smooth. The checkout was over in two seconds.

In the economy room, we have slanting roof and it was so uncomfortable to roam around the room. I hit my head multiple times on that slanting roof.

The hotel was new and clean. Comfortable beds There is a kitchen area with hot water and some vending machines.

Check in was a difficult process, and the staff was not that helpful. I never received a code to check in with, and was not able to check in 45 minutes before 15.00. This is ok, but I was not able to check in at 15.30 either, because cleaners were still cleaning the room! I had to wait for help for 20 minutes, and had to complain to be able to actually get a room. I was travelling with a three year old, and we rellay needed that room! In the end we were upgraded because our room wasnt finished even 45 minutes after I was supposed to.

The location of Citybox Bergen is wonderful, close to the center of town, parks, restaurants, the bus station, port, and other points of interest. It’s very easy to walk there or find a e-scooter to use, etc. The room had a great view (on the 5th floor), was very clean, the beds comfortable, and had all the items we needed for a pleasant overnight stay. The host in the lobby was easily accessible for questions. Checking in was seamless including printing an extra key for two. The kitchen in the lobby was well equipped and the chairs in the sitting area were comfortable. We highly recommend it.

The hotel has a convenient location, allowing guests within a quick five-minute walk of Bergen Station, as well as many attractions, restaurants, and shops. While the assigned room was small, it provided all the essential amenities, including towels, a hairdryer, and a sufficient number of outlets. The on-site laundry room is a definite plus. Furthermore, the self-service check-in and check-out process via the kiosk is smooth and fast. The lobby offers added convenience with a vending machine and coffee machine, and the direct proximity to a small grocery store right across the street is incredibly beneficial for any last-minute needs or quick snacks.

The biggest downside is how thin the walls are. Being right next to the convention center, and with a big event going on the night I was there, it was really noisy until around 2 AM – both from the event itself and the traffic outside. If you're sensitive to noise, definitely bring earplugs. Another thing to consider is the luggage storage after checkout. They have a room for it, which is convenient, but it's not monitored by staff. So, just be aware that leaving your bags there is at your own risk.

The self check-in was super easy and quick. The room was very clean and the shower was nice, beds were so comfortable and we had a great sleep. Location was perfect, it was central and you could walk everywhere. Getting to the hotel from the airport was easy too, the tram station is about 5min walk from the hotel. The hotel had a rooftop which had nice views and is a cozy place to hangout.

The room was modest and the bathroom didn't have any necessities like shampoo, so bring your own. Toilet paper was low quality too. Heating wasn't working properly, so we had to use the radiator, after which the room was boiling hot, so we had to continuously work around switching the radiator on and off.

The hotel is located in a quite neighborhood and close to the city center (including central bus station). Rooms are comfy and wifi connection was pretty good in all areas. You also have a supermarket right opposite to the hotel wherein you can buy most or all essentials. One big advantage is the guest kitchen with basic amenities to help out if you want to prepare something on your own. Depending on the preference, one can walk to most of the must-see attractions or take a bus as well. Highly recommend for fellow travelers!!

The location is excellent and it is very clean. We were in the smallest room but it was perfectly fine. The shower was amazing. In a few minutes walking you are in the center and you have restaurants all around.

There was no television available, which isn’t a must but our fist hotel in Norway had a tv with chromecast function which was fun. The staf is a bit short spoken, not super welcoming. They help when asked but it doesn’t feel as accommodating. Perhaps because all of them are in their early twenties and it seems more as if it is their side job next to uni.

Easy walk to Main station. Meticulously clean. Well equipped. Power plugs well placed. Simple minimalist design, some work, some don't. Good Value.

Minimalist designer/ owner gone crazy.... The side shelves next to the bed (yes... The place to put Mobile/tablet, glasses, water bottle) were only 20X25cm ! That's only enough for a mobile phone. Doubling to 40X50 would prob cost nothing (I am not teaching how to negotiate with suppliers here). The shower screen is a nice touch but they were like 8cm off the floor.... So water still splash into the bathroom..... Designer/ owner/ operator didn't see this as something need to be re-look ? A couple more quirks but.... Enough here. Hope future Citibox would improve on these sort of things to make the place a Perfect one.

Location of Citybox Bergen was very good, felt very safe here as you needed a key card to gain entry to the location at all times, and again to get the elevator to move. Kettle and microwave available in the common area, as was compostable cutlery, with a supermarket across the road which allowed me to eat in each night. I had a double small room, and it was exactly as it looked in the picture. Bed was very comfortable, perhaps too small for two people because it was in an alcove. Plenty of plugs which was great with two by the bed.

Took some time for the hot water to come through in the shower and taps upstairs

Location of the hotel was very good, 7 mins walk from Bergen station and there's a grocery store (Kiwi mini pris) just across the street. Self service check in and check out. If you need assistance just press one button and the staff will come out to assist you. You need the key card to operate the elevator and to switch on the lights on your room. No fridge and TV in the room but it is available in the lobby along with kettle & microwave. There's table & chair with plenty of sockets but no shelf for clothes. Hair and body wash provided with hair dryer. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
