Breakfast is 5 of 5. Clean. Walkable to train station and light rail stop is across street. Really appreciate a male front desk staff walked us and pointed out the train station.

Bed is on the soft side. I like it more firm. Hotel should make a video on how to walk underground from light rail stop. We were crossing the 4 line traffic with our luggage without knowing underground walking path. No where it mentioned walk underground cross the street to get to hotel. This would make visitors so much easier.

Large hotel with good facilities. I was allocated a better room near the top floor, which was nice. Excellent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and everything worked as it should.

Although very close to the station, you have to walk a long way around because there is no crossing on the main road between the hotel and the station, not helped that the exit from the hotel nearest this is kept locked for some reason. House keeping a bit hit and miss. Sometimes tea/coffee and towels replenished, sometimes not.

* Breakfast was the best selection of food and drinks which I've ever experienced, it had everything at this buffet! Aside from not having any berries or salmon, we couldn't fault what was on offer and it was fun to eat each morning. * 15-20 min walk to Bryggen and the harbour area, along the way walking by lovely fountains, gardens and suchlike. * 15% discount from the hotel when parking in the garage across the main road. It wasn't very complicated to locate.

* Overall, the hotel met all expectations for location, room description and was a reasonable price to pay in Bergen. It was simply a VERY GOOD hotel which is why I rated it 8 /10 as we didn't find it superb. The breakfast was 10 / 10 :)

Good location near things we wanted to do and see. Clean room and helpful staff. Great breakfast.

We were on the side with the large street and the traffic was noisy at night. The water from the shower seeped under the door quite a bit and left the floor wet. The room was quite warm and the window was small; there was something that looked like a thermostat but either it didn’t do anything or we couldn’t figure it out- printed instructions near it would be helpful. (We certainly could’ve asked the front desk but we didn’t.)

I loved my room, it was very comfortable and clean. With adequate storage space for luggage and hangars for coats/fleeces. The breakfast area had a varied and tasty selection of items, all of which I enjoyed thoroughly. The pancakes and pastries especially. The lobby bar was relaxed and comfortable, I loved its interior styling. The hotels location was within walking distance of all the places I wanted to visit. As well as the bybanen light rail station across the road, at the bus station. Which made for an easy airport to hotel commute. As well as a market close by, with a wide selection of goods. In all, I loved my stay here and would stay again. As well as recommending it to friends and family.

wonderful helpful staff, especially Henriette, Penny, and Rubub at front desk and Giselda (not positive of name -- from Portugal - charming and helpful) in the breakfast room. Spacious room, this hotel worked very well. Pleased to have stayed there.

Our room was on 8th floor under the fitness center and now and then loud banging from above apparently from weights dropped on floor, people skipping rope or on elliptical machine

The best things about this hotel are its location very close to the train station and the fabulous breakfast served each morning.

On the afternoon of our stay we arrived a few hours before check in and requested luggage storage so that we could explore Bergen without our bags. There was no space for our bags in a secure location and an unfriendly staff member said we could just set them aside in the public area to be retrieved later. This is a fail for a full service hotel. Staff members should offer secure luggage storage in an alternate space for customers.

Excellent breakfast, nice room, everything clean and working. We forgot something in the room, and they contacted Faundit so that we could receive back our belongings! Very good service and good memories to always remember the Scandic Ørnen fondly.

There was a big image of an owl in the bedroom. Perhaps a little intimidating to sleep with? or perhaps it's better to think it's guarding our dreams...

I liked most things about the hotel.

We came first to the backdoor, which was closed with a note that the entrance was on the opposite side of the hotell. So we went to the rignt anti-clock-wise around the building to find the main entrance, but had to go 3/4 arond the building before we found it. So I think it would be a good idea to put an arrow to the left on the backdoor, to help customers go clock-wise arond the building to find the main entrance, which is a much shorter way.

Hotel was well located, walking distance from town, close to public transport and shops. Had a great view from our room. The bed was super comfy and the shower was hot and there was good pressure. Breakfast was amazing. Room was not noisy

Took a bit longer than normal to check in, the wait was a bit long.. same with checkout, no key drop available to drop the key on departure. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was a bit hit and miss. Had to pay a small fee for an umbrella
