Breakfast is 5 of 5. Clean. Walkable to train station and light rail stop is across street. Really appreciate a male front desk staff walked us and pointed out the train station.

Bed is on the soft side. I like it more firm. Hotel should make a video on how to walk underground from light rail stop. We were crossing the 4 line traffic with our luggage without knowing underground walking path. No where it mentioned walk underground cross the street to get to hotel. This would make visitors so much easier.

The Reception personnel - Enriette, Uta and Utten - were simply outstanding tending to our needs and requests like extra pillows and more. The breakfast buffet was very good with outstanding selections of fruits, breads, coffees, cheeses, and more. The room was very comfortable including the beds, linens and pillows. The location was a bit outside of the harbor area but not a long walk and convenient to many other things. The hotel itself like the rooms are very modern and tasteful!

We would only recommend more consistency in the dinner buffets. The first night of our stay it was excellent with a choice of chicken and beef and more. The next two times we purchased it extra it was disappointing. The chefs appeared to be different from the first night and there were very poor main meals served. .

We had a wonderful stay at the Scandic Ørnen Hotel. The room was modern, clean, and small, but large enough for 2 adults and 1 child (with an extra bed). The only downside would have been a safe in the room. We received excellent service from the staff, especially from Ms. Giselda! Having had little sleep due to the time difference, we woke up past lunchtime the day after our arrival. We missed breakfast by about 20 minutes. Ms. Giselda offered to make us a plate of eggs, bacon, and fruit, along with juice and coffee. She offered us a lunch box and pastries to take home! Caring and warm, she made our day! Thank you to the entire team for the welcome and hospitality. We recommend this hotel without hesitation!

Very modern hotel. It was very quiet, no noise from the other rooms or corridors. Staff very friendly. The air conditioning was great as it was unsually hot in Bergen when we stayed there. Our room had an interior facing window, facing the lifts which was very unusual, but we didn't mind. Brilliant breakfast selection. A nice quiet bar with a friendly barman. Great sun terrace on the upper floors that you can bring your drinks up to.

The dinner buffet. The selection for this was very poor compared to other scandic hotels I have stayed in. There was only one meat option and one fish option, and a very poor dessert selection. For the price it is not worth it....where as other scandic hotels had meats, fish, lots of veg, chips/fries, pizza and hotdogs, and a varied selection of deserts, so they were worth the money.

Clean and comfortable rooms, nice amenities. Ventilation system was strong enough for the heatwave days (plus, our window was facing the interior courtyard, so no direct sunlight). Location is excellent, next to train/bus station and walking distance of the port. The breakfast has a lot of variety and good quality.

Nothing to dislike, if I had to pick something maybe it would be nice to have a pool/spa zone at this price range. The room was also a bit dark as it doesn't have a big overhead light, but as long as you don't fully close the curtains it is good enough.

The hotel is in a good location, being a 5 minute walk from the train station and around 10 from the harbour and old town area. The room itself was fine - everything you expect from a Scandic hotel. It was well sound-proofed. Breakfast was OK - we agreed that "good" would be a fair observation as we didn't leave hungry but felt that the choice could have been wider. Of course, that might be due to our central European tastes rather than Scandinavian tastes. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful.

The only real complaint was that the air conditioning wasn't that good and opening a window meant there was a lot of noise from the street. This resulted in a rather uncomfortable night's sleep for both of us.

Breakfast was excellent, with lots of variety. The staff there were especially friendly. The location was convenient, right next to the central bus station (easy access to the center, to the airport and other locations in the city). The hotel is quite pleasant overall, and practical. We had dinner once in the hotel restaurant and that was lovely, too (good food, beautiful view).

The rooms had a loud ventilation system, which was a bit annoying at night. I slept in two different rooms, and found the corner room quite cold (summer temperatures in Bergen were around 12ºC, so this was an issue). The other room was nicer. However, both rooms had weak lighting and few plugs for charging.

This was a wonderful hotel. It was a short drive from the Bergen Airport and was very easy to find and is located in the downtown Bergen area. My husband and I enjoyed walking around the parks, shops and restaurants. Despite it being downtown, it was actually quite quiet and peaceful, the whole area is so beautiful. The hotel staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was delicious. They provide a vast selection of food options and we really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfortable and we both slept really well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to others!

No complaints!

The highlight of this hotel for me and my wife was its location. The hotel is located right in the heart of the city and a few minutes walk from everything you might need. The hotel is part of a large chain and the professional behavior of the staff confirms this fact. We had no problems with our arrival, stay and departure. Our room was warm, adequate and quiet. Officers obeyed the “Do not disturb” request at the door. It was a nice experience to find household appliances such as a refrigerator and kettle in the room, which was not possible at the Scandic Solli Oslo we visited later. The choice at breakfast was adequate but not spectacular.

We would have liked our room to be a bit bigger and have a view of the outside. Breakfast was not exceptional, although adequate. We tried to change the settings of the ventilation system in the room but without success. However, these are minor issues, we are very happy with our stay.

We stayed for 3 nights towards the end of March this year. Location of the property was great, not very far from the main railway station, over the road from a shopping centre and bus/tram/light rail hub and also walking distance to the major sights in Bergen. Rooms were very clean, a reasonable size and well appointed. The Reception desk staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet choices were excellent and all of the staff also fantastic, in particular Giselda and chef Sami (I think that was his name). Fantastic stay and highly recommended,

Nothing to dislike.
