Good location, helpful staff, cool atmosphere. Our room was nice, with a huge TV, comfortable bed and ok bathroom. Breakfast, a little chaotic, but decent.

At eight o'clock, sunday morning, the cleaning crew barged into our room, and when they saw people in bed, just said SORRY and left. Then, when we returned to our room from breakfast, at 11am, we had been locked out of the room, although check-out was only at 12pm. In fact, we weren't in even the system anymore. Stange... Well, the receptionist said "we're sorry about everything" and that was it.

The hotel had a fantastic view across the waterfront. While it's not in a central location, it's a 3 minute walk to the nearest light rail stop (bybanen) called 'Florida' which is on a direct line from the airport. From Florida it's only 2 stops to the end of the line, Byparken, in the city centre. (You can buy tickets at stops or download the Skyss billett app). Alternatively, you can walk to the centre in about 20-25 mins. Our room was quiet and comfortable with a good view. The bar/lounge/breakfast area had a great view and nice ambiance.

While I liked the overall fun vibe of the Moxy, I could've done without the music being so loud in the bar/lounge area at certain times of day – the enforced soundtrack is a bit overkill. For people with the hidden disability of being hard of hearing, loud music doesn't add anything – except a challenge.

Love the breakfast here. It is one of the important things when I book a hotel. Gutted we missed it on the last day but we had to leave super early. There was a great selection to choose from. The social area was so great we spent most of our time hanging out, lots of seating, loads of games to play, nice selection of bar drinks and food with great views by the water. Room was clean, modern, everything that was needed. Location is a little further outside of Bergen but we choose Moxy as it was close to airport had parking (we wanted to do a bit of traveling) and had great views. Highly recommend

the breakfast was awesome, lactose free alternatives, ketchup for the Sausage, cold juice from the spender even ice tea! Whoever planned the lights in this room has now a special place in my heart - do you know the issue, when you lay down and the little light is connected with the big light so you either have to get up again or walk in total darkness?Not here, they are separated, you can shut them off while lying in bed and if you get up in the dark a light under the bed guides you!!it's the little things.I cancelled my booking in a different hotel and rebooked this one for my next stay! also: Front Desk Lady Ingrid was amazing!

Hotel lobby is very nice, lots of modern artistic touches. Some great views of the city from here too. Staff were nice and friendly. Room was spacious, had a nice view and some good creative storage options. Easy access by train from the airport. Walking distance into town.

Would have been nice to have a fridge and some extra pillows in the room. As this is a fairly large hotel outside of the main town, it would be nice to see the addition of a pool. As seems to be standard across Scandinavia, the mattresses are very thin and uncomfortable.

One of my best stays ever! Loved this Hotel. Such cool vibes here! The Staff were one of the friendliest and extremely helpful. The interior design was just amazing with humorous lines thrown in here and there. I was smiling throughout. Everything is just so lovely about this Hotel. Location was superb, close to the Florida Tram station. One could take a Tram to the city centre in one direction and to the airport in another direction, so convenient! Breakfast spread was excellent. The sea view room was just awesome. Overall I highly recommend this Hotel and I would love to come here again.

Our stay at the Moxy in Bergen exceeded our expectations. The hotel is new and modern, with a well-curated environment and a youthful vibe. The decor and lobby are spectacular, offering plenty of activities and places to relax with friends at a table. The staff is young and very friendly. We felt comfortable with everyone, and they provided valuable tips about the city. The breakfast is plentiful, though a bit repetitive day after day. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the nearest light rail stop. Overall, highly recommended!

The only downside was the rooms and overall cleanliness. Our double room was quite small, and upon arrival, we found hair on one of the beds.

New modern hotel, great location at the water, fast Bybanen connection to the centre and to the airport, good size of the room, comfortable beds, the windows can be opened, quiet surroundings (at least during the weekend), basic, but high quality breakfast, affordable price, fair cancellation policy. Very recommended.

The breakfast space needs more tables for comfortable eating. Sitting outside on the terrace is possible, but it can be too cold in the morning, even in the summer.

Loved my one-night stay here and would 100% return on my next trip to Bergen. Staff was super friendly and helpful: they helped me with my baggage after check-out with no extra charge and gave me a welcome drink at check-in. Room is fantastic and extremely spacious, and I booked the most „basic“ room. Liked the entire vibe and decor of the hotel. My room had everything that I needed.

Location is OK, but not as central as I anticipated. It‘s a 5‘ walk to the tram station, but it‘s totally fine. Also, there was no Minibar, for those who desire, but was fine for me. Also I found it to be quite expensive, but value is nonetheless good. Booked many many months in advance and would have expected it to be 10-15% cheaper.

The location is fantastic. Room had a fantastic sea view (extra) overlooking the new harbour redevelopment. Room is nice size. (If you choose a room without a sea view you are likely to be overlooking a building site but this is obviously a temporary issue at time of writing). Bathroom and shower very good and plenty of space in the main room.

There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. This is clearly an issue as many guests were disappointed with this. There are no complementary tea/coffee making facilities for guests in the lobby/lounge area (other than breakfast time after which the facilities are shut away). When enquiring about this via booking.com we were told that complementary filter/coffee is usually available for guests in the lobby. This wasn't obvious and on asking in the lobby there is a clear steer towards buying this from the bar. Moxy need to sort this out. It's not popular.with guests who expect more in a.hotel that is nearly £200 per night!
