The location was great. Almost as close as you can get to Machu Picchu while being in Aguas Calientes, but a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the town, but still convenient to everything. Breakfast was very good and starts early (which is needed, particularly if you have a 7am ticket for Machu Picchu). Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. The balcony, looking out over the river and with glimpses into the valley leading up to Machu Picchu, was wonderful.

We had challenges with hot water during our stay. Stay did their best to help and were frustrated that the hot water was not consistent (they blamed some recent repairs that were made and a faulty part). Also, I suspect this was probably a premier property when it was first opened, but has suffered the wears of time. Nonetheless, it was still clean and comfortable.

My experience at the hotel was phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, Edison at the reception was friendly and lovely with us. He helped us with doubts about tours. The clean rooms and the exceptional view in front of the Macchu Picchu River...also there is a bar in the 5th floor where we had a little ceremony about our ancestors. my partner and I really loved it. I would really stay at the sanctuary hotel again. the best hotel in Macchu Picchu. Thank you Edison for your great job.

We liked everything

This was honestly the best place we stayed on our trip to Peru! They had hot showers, nice fluffy towels, were super clean and had an amazing hair dryer in the room - which was a lovely surprise. The staff were excellent, they helped us out when we arrived super early due to transport issues, and were super communicative through the whole stay. Across our group we rented four rooms, and it was unanimously voted the best accommodation of the trip, would definitely stay again!

The hotel staff looked after us asking some requests from us, even though there were a lot of people in the hotel restaurant. And they offer laundry in reasonable price. that was also great to me.

Same topic as above, there were a lot of people (Machupicchu visitors) in the hotel restaurant at about 6 am and it took us about 20 minutes to get some food. I think it might be understaffed for the high season.

Location and view were unbelievable and breathtaking. The hotel was clean with specious room. I need to mention the staff, especially Karrena, who was so polite and helpful. She is a star !! Breakfast, okay.. could have been better.

If I'd have to come up with something, the papaya juice at breakfast was a little watery

Beautiful hotel, located at an amazing spot with outstanding views to the heart of Machu Picchu. The staff is super friendly, and the rooms seem good enough for the price. Breakfast was also very good and complete.

Good Hotel in the town. Breakfast was good and Quality of sleep was OK as well.

Rooms are little outdated but completely fine for one night before you visit MP.
