This was our first time at the Spatz Hotel & our first time in Krakow. I don’t think it will be the last, we have loved it! The room was ideal, but for me I struggled to straighten my hair in front of the mirror because of where it is compared to the plug! But that’s a really minor gripe. The breakfast was lovely, fresh & filling with plenty of choice, it set us up each day for exploring. We booked trips to Auschwitz & Birkenau, and Schindlers Factory, via the hotel along with airport transfers and a late check out. This did make them a bit more expensive but it was so much easier with it being our first time and they were seamless. The tours were with krakow direct who were excellent, and the hotel made us an amazing packed lunch for one of them too. The hotel is well placed in the Jewish district with the little market square nearby and just a short walk to the castle, and not far from the main market square. There are plenty of cafes and bars and restaurants nearby and you can get on a tram just round the corner. We also jumped on a golf buggy to do the tour of the places we didn’t get to on foot which was really interesting and highly recommend. I had been quoted nearly £200 for one of these, but just getting on one while out and about it cost £118, so definitely better doing it that way, you see so much more but you hear the history behind what you’re looking at too. My mum doesn’t have the best mobility and our room was 2nd floor but she managed ok, just something to take into consideration if coming here as there is no lift. You do hear people coming and going but more because many of them slammed their doors! The outside can be a bit noisy but we only closed the window on one night. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions and the room was cleaned and fresh towels provided each day (we placed the sign on the door handle) The outside garden is lovely, a really chilled quiet place for a drink, their tapas option is lovely too.

The hotel is situated in a nice pleasant spot in Kazimierz , close to plenty of bars and restaurants .We liked the look of the hotel both the outside and the interior . We thought the bar area and beer garden are very nice. The food cooked to order - omelettes and scrambled eggs were very nice , and hot .
We found the stairs a bit awkward. Pity there was no lift .There should have been two chairs to sit on in the bedroom , instead of sitting on the bed .Some of the cooked breakfast should be kept warmer ie. bacon ,sausage, beans and fried eggs as it was nearly cold .The toaster needs replacing .

The bar is very good and the welcome drink is a nice touch. Great area, so much around. Great value Dora the explorer who works behind the bar is an absolute credit to the place. Thanks so much for your conversation and helpfulness. You really helped make my trip that bit brighter.
Pillows not comfy Mattress not comfy for me but I’m a bit fussy with that Receptionist on nights sleeping when I went to check out (24 hour reception) and was grumpy with me (4am) said it wasn’t agreed to check out at this time. With a 24 hour reception, I wouldn’t have thought you’d need to! Bit of damage to headboard and paint on walls falling off a bit BUT for the price, really can’t moan too much.

I took this lovely hotel due to old city location and it was great decision. It is located just in ancient jewish quarter Kazimierz in Krakov. Apart great location it has amazing rich breakfast with amazing variety of food and drinks (like in restaurant) and very traditoinal vintage design. Also, reception ladies were very helpful with advises on navigation and meat restaurant. My room was tine but clean and basic, which actually was enough for 2 days stay.
Only problem that due to absence of elevator, my luggage had to be lifted on 3 floor which is not convient but boy helped me.

This is the first time my wife and I have been to Krakow. All the staff made us feel very welcome. They were all so friendly and spoke good English. They were able to answer any questions we had.And also they allowed us to store our cases as we had a late flight home. If you go into the bar, treat the staff to a drink. After all, they have the decency to speak English to us. The breakfast is superb.A great selection..Also just a heads up.There isn't a lift, so expect stairs --Good for the daily workout. We've now got muscles where we didnt know muscles existed! The staff will help to carry any cases for you.

The hotel is well situated for everything but especially close to a large variety of nightlife, bars, restaurants. Only downside for me re the hotel was that there was no lift but stairs were wide and shallowish. Im an unfit female solo traveller, aged 60+. Excellent shower pressure, kettle, tea and coffee in room. Easy to use hairdryer in bathroom. Fridge in room also and a tv. Basic 3 star but good value. Bed was very comfortable and surprisingly my room (2nd floor) although above the outdoor seating area was really quiet. Staff were lovely and so helpful. A couple of small grocery shops close by and easy access to teams. A 15 min walk from no. 300 bus from and to the airport across the bridge. Polish people were very hospitable and so helpful, they were lovely and majority spoke English. Cocktails on one of the boats on the river was fun. Uber and other taxis were reasonably priced in krakow.
No lift but it cant be helped as the building is very old. . Doors to rooms felt flimsy but there were double locks and krakow is a very safe city. Very very busy area at weekends hard to find a seat in the most popular bars. Room walls and furniture could do with a bit of a refurbishment, but everything was useable and nothing was broken. Plenty if space in room too.

I didn't book the breakfast at the hotel, however the cafe across the street had outdoor tables and was cheaper. The old town centre was about 15 minutes walk and well worth the effort. It's worth exploring the area near the hotel as there are some very nice bars and restaurants. The hotel is comfortable and the showers are awesome.
The hotel did not have a lift so not the best for guests with mobility problems.

Our stay at the Aparthotel was absolutely delightful. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was the pleasant fragrance that filled the hotel, creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and public transport. Overall, it felt like a home away from home, and we highly recommend it for anyone seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

We were welcomed by a lovely, helpful receptionist when we arrived, in fact all the of the staff were fantastic throughout our stay. The bedroom was spacious, spotless, very comfortable beds, powerful hot shower. Breakfast was a huge spread with every possible option of continental breakfast but also hot cooked food food, the option to order omelettes or poached eggs and lots of variety of pastries etc. The location couldn't have been better, so many bars and restaurants all within doors of the hotel, we didn't need to go far. It was the perfect location for walking the whole city. I would highly recommend to any traveller.

Staff was very kind, helpful and did their best what ever was the case. Nice bathroom and shower. Hotels location is great. District is cozy, a lot of nice cafes and restaurants and also walkable way from all the main attractions.
Hotel would benefit some updating; there is holes in the wallpaint and some normal wear down in furniture. I didnt feel that it is poor condition or something I would concider as a bad quality just normal signs of use.
