A nice basic hotel in the quirky Kazamierz district - so glad that we stayed here instead of in the more touristy Old Town. Upon arrival we asked for more pillows and a fan which the porter promptly provided us with. Breakfast was nice (if a little eccentric - who eats pasta in the morning?) and plentiful apart from one morning when a gang of schoolchildren had plundered the buffet and we had to ask for more cups, bread rolls etc. Our main gripe was the smell of drains in our bathroom which we didn't mention at the time although I'm mentioning it now so that they can sort it out for other guests.

The smell of drains in the bathroom. Having to ask kitchen staff to replenish food at breakfast.

It has everything needed for a basic stay - decent beds, good bathroom, sustainable approach, good breakfast, and nice courteous staff. It is also well located in the area of Kazimierz, and is just a 15-20 min walk to the old town neighborhood.

I won't say I didn't like this, but for the price, the hotel felt a bit old. So if someone can ignore this part, it's good for a decent two-night stay that we had. On a side note, though. Secondly, while booking an Uber, I had to put a location a little away from the hotel as Uber wasn't accepting this as a location and only pointing me to designated pickup spots in the neighborhood. I guess this is because there's a no taxi zone. This isnt the hotel's fault, but maybe others can keep this in mind while booking if they have any physical disabilities.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. The room was amazing. We walked in to a large hallway off of which was a large bathroom with shower. The bedroom had 3 single beds, a side table between them, a desk with kettle, cups, glasses & tea/coffee. Also a large wardrobe. Beds were comfortable. The rooms are not modern but in keeping with being in a more historical area. Breakfast was included which consisted of cereals, fruit, yoghurt, assorted breads, cold salad type items, scrambled eggs, local frankfurter type sausages. Juice, tea & coffee. Kept us going for hours! The location was great for getting into the city centre with easy walking or trams. Unfortunately we didn’t realise that booking with Bolt (taxi service) meant couldn’t get hotel pickup due to being in a Green Zone. However, only had to walk a couple of minutes to be able to do this. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.

Excellent location for most things ie bars, lots and lots of restaurants, trams, Castle, Town Square and even the best Zapiekankiz (Toasted Baguette) night food market just around the corner. Very good hotel, keeping its original fabric, and values, giving us a view to what shaped Krakow. A lovely charming hotel to match its staff, very kind and efficient. Rooms were very clean and bedding was changed every day.The breakfast was excellent and plenty of it. Would defo return to Krakow and stay at The Regent again

Can’t really fault it, was great place and excellent value for money. Bit noisy outside come the weekend, but that’s what you would expect, never woke us up x

+ Great staff who speak perfect clear English and help us with any questions with happy and patience demeanor. + Fantastic housekeeping staff who not only fold the soiled clothes accidentally left in the bathroom and keep it neat on the bed. They never forget to tidy up where it is required. + Great breakfast with delicious pan cakes (with real banana slices) , rice like Pollo kind breakfast, both scrambled and boiled eggs, 3 choices of bread, fruits, salad, waffles etc etc.. Coffee machine never broke even once during our week stay. + water dispenser near front desk + right at the heart of Jewish Quarters, always buzzing with people. + 3 different tram stations easily accessible + The two ladies at the breakfast were very friendly and happy to help us with food details.

- as the rooms are a little antique and electric outlets are outdated. For example, there is no power socket at either side of bed (annoying for couples who both would like to charge their phones on the bed). No usb socket. - Uber taxis don't come near hotel as there are one ways and not every driver knows how to pickup from hotel. We had nightmare pickup to airport during our return journey. - air-conditioning could be stronger. But front desk was hospitable enough to provide a table fan which is much appreciated. - shower area is quite small and needs care when taking bath.

Location was excellent, was very clean and staff arranged transport to and from hotel to airport including a breakfast bag at 3am in the morning,! My hairdryer wasn't working but a quick trip down to reception and they brought another up to our room whist we were out exploring the area

No air-conditioning only a small fan ,the garden area was only open from 7am till 10pm meaning if you wanted a cigarette when coming back on an evening you had to stand outside on the pavement outside the hotel (but this is my only complaint and I am a female smoker )

Everything. Nice rooms, excellent location, kind and service minded staff. All you can ask for in a hotel. It was very hot during our stay so an AC would have been the icing on an otherwise perfect cake. But we could open the windows and there was a fan so we managed just fine.

Not that much the hotel itself but rather the lack of parking spots in the Jewish quarters. That is something to keep in mind when booking any hotel in that area.

Location! Close to lots of bars and restaurants. Great, helpful staff. Bag breakfast to take with us due to 2 mornings of early departures. Hot water with good pressure in the shower. There was ample storage for clothing. There was a fan. There is a breakfast every morning.

No shelf in the bathroom, no outlet by bed for my husband's cpap, loud outside when the window was open, which made for a warm night, as no a/c. Thankful for the fan.

The location of the hotel was brilliant for visiting Kraków. With the Royal Castle just a few minutes away, and then the rest of the city right beyond that. Being right in the Jewish quarter also meant there were all sorts of activities right outside the front door. Two tram lines again a few minutes away too. Breakfasts were really filling and a good selection for everyone. The staff were always very helpful, and the requested airport transfer was waiting for us in arrivals.

The noise was the only negative, the hotel did have a dated feel, but I did not see that as a negative. If you are a light sleeper, you are going to need ear plugs. Being right in a busy area, and many night activities, there is no getting away from all sorts of sounds through the night. Then you will hear the clean-up beginning in the streets in the morning. Not a huge issue for me, but my partner is a very light sleeper.
