The location is strategic, it is right in the middle of Kazimierz district and right opposite Plac Nowy (with many food stalls everyday and street food), plenty of unique restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and Tempel Synagogue is 2 min walk away. It also means it can get rather noisy until midnight, especially on Friday and Saturday. But I already expected it from the previous reviews. I am not a light sleeper, the noise is manageable when the windows were closed, the hotel did provide ear plugs but I did not use it, and I slept fine. The room is clean and nicely decorated. Bed is comfy to my taste. Kettle, teabags, instant coffee are provided. Hotel staff is responsive and helpful.

The shower did not drain well and water clogged up very quickly, most hostels/hotels overlook this while cleaning, and it is my standard between very good and superb/exceptional rating. This was the main dissatisfaction from me. Would be more helpful if there is a TV and a fridge, but not a must. Half of the food stalls at Plac Nowy now mainly sell Zapiekanki (casseroles) and the other half only sell kebab, not many different choices now. I was looking for Maczanka Krakowska (pulled pork) but did not see it anywhere.

The location is great, it's right in the middle of the Jewish quarter and there's a lot to see and experience. I liked the way the guest house was styled too. The interaction with the hosts was limited because I arrived late and left early, but everything was very clear and very easy. So that was great! I was prepared for the noise because I'd read other reviews, but it didn't bother me because it sounded very cosy and was just part of the experience.

My shower head needs to be repaired, it looked like it was a little clogged, so water came out of the top and spouted in all directions.

Very central. In the thick of the action if you are here to see the sights. The staff is friendly and helpful. The interior decoration is a hoot! A touch of the local culture and a book shelf with a selection of books to keep you company.

It gets quite noisy in the evenings and stays that way until late at night. That explained the complimentary ear plugs placed on the night stand. The city is super clean, so the city cleaning service starts very early so the window of unfettered sleep is slight! The morning light evades the dark curtains with ease, so you may wake up and stay up to enjoy the joys of a city being meticulously cleaned even before the crew arrives.

I stayed here for five days and it was wonderful. I saw other reviews say that there was noise from the square at night so I purposefully asked for a room facing the back (which they were happy to accommodate). I had no trouble with noise at all and the square seemed pretty calm in any case (perhaps because it rained a lot!) The room was basic and not particularly spacious (though certainly enough for me). The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need (kettle, tea, coffee, towels, hairdryer). I love the old world and quirky vibes of the place, it felt like staying in a piece of history. They also had the heating on when it was raining and it felt like coming back to a warm home! The location is superb - nestled among cafes and restaurants, with all sights within walking distance. Communication with the owners was excellent - they texted me about the door code when it changed and helped me when I locked myself out. They are pretty hands off and you feel that everything just sort of ticks over by itself.

The plastic cover on the mattress made me sweat the first night and was a bit uncomfortable.

Very good sized room (24) with a very comfortable double bed. The location in Kazimierz is great but I do appreciate that overlooking Plac Nowy can be very noisy for some people, especially at weekends but earplugs are supplied. The building itself is historic and has some quirky decor in the communal areas. The stairs themselves are beautiful when you can appreciate all those years of wear on the solid wood.

Minor faults only.. there was coffee, tea and sugar but no milk The hot water takes quite a while to come through in the shower so quite a lot of water gets wasted.

Outstanding accommodations and value. As others have commented, the square on which the guest house is located is noisy, at least on weekend nights, but this wasn’t an issue for me. In the heart of the old town and Jewish quarter, there are small restaurants all around the square and surrounding neighborhoods, and much of what makes Krakow wonderful is a walk away. Really a terrific place!

Unique vibe, great location, great staff

Great location, easy communication. I could leave my luggage before and after my stay. Cleanliness was on point and so was the right amount of towels. Air con was a great thing to have in the room, as it was warm outside when I arrived. I was aware of the noises from the outside so it wasn’t a con for me.

Glasses were stuck to the tablecloth which meant they’ve not been moved in a while. Decor could do with a bit of updating but otherwise very clean. One light bulb on the side table was not working. Stairs were a pain but again, I expected them so it’s fine.

The location is great, close to city centre. You can take one tram or walk to most attractions. Many restaurants, food stalls and bars around. I go on weekdays so there's no noise issue, not sure about weekends. They provide shower gel and hairdryer in the bathroom. Prior arrival, they sent me the code for main door and the room key is at the door, very convenient for check-in. Staff was friendly. Most importantly, there's air conditioning for summer time! I felt safe there as a solo female traveller 😁

Would be nice to have hair shampoo, but it's not a big issue. Also there's no lift, so if you can't walk up the stairs maybe this is not for you.

Excellent location, just in the heart of Kazimierz. Lots of bars and restaurants around. Around 30 mins walk from the main railway station, Main Square reachable on foot in 10-15 mins walk. This is not a modern apartment which makes you "wow effect", is a bit old, however very clean, well prepared, towels/cosmetics available. For weekend stay - absolutely enough. Room was equipped with very good air conditioning, we used it due to heat in the city - equipment was "fresh" and silent. Some say it is loud - might be as it is on Kazimierz ("evening/night life center"), however our room was from the backyard, so we were not impacted. Ear plugs were also offered for free at the apartment.

This is not the kind of room - you say it's 10, however score 9 (or 8+) is absolutely deserved. As improvement - I would suggest to clearly state in instruction/confirmation on Booking how the check-in is done (to avoid being bothered with calls/questions), would be good if some more pictures are shared (I was missing pictures of my room) to show also that for people with dissabilities might be difficult location due to stairs,

- It's located on a very busy square and we were staying on Sunday and the noise was unbearable. My friend was very tired and slept fine but I couldn't, even with the provided ear plugs. And the noise continued over until 3-4 am.
