It is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed (and I travel a lot!) . Exceptionally high quality antique and modern furniture, carpets, bedding,robes , outdoor furniture etc... and entire place decoration! It feels chic and classy but at the same time gives a very warm and comfortable feeling. I don't have enough words to express how beautiful and taken care by the staff I had felt as well- they hospitality training is well above 5 stars hotels !!! Breakfast was to die for ! ....I feel I could go on and on talking about this beautiful place! A must to visit if one wants to feel pampered 🤩😍🥰🙏

Excellent staff. Everyone we met was polite, smiley, helpful. Location good too. Beautiful interior. Water in the swimming pool warm enough. Sauna hot enough.

Steam room didn't work first 3 days of our stay. We could use it only on our last day. Breakfast choice is very limited. Honey was really good, however, pancakes not really edible. Worst thing was mattress on the folding bed. 2 people who were sleeping on it, woke up with massive back pain. Next night we asked for top mattress which was provided. Bar drinks overpriced.

The staff was amazing, we dealt with 3 different people and they were all incredible. Overall the space is very beautiful. Comfortable beds, nice shower, etc

Heavily perfumed lobby, room did not smell good, maybe that's why there's so much fragrance? Got used to it quick, but noticed everytime we re-entered the room. Also didn't like having to get our key from the front desk every single time we re-entered the hotel. Street parking only (not clear on booking site). Overall it was nice though.

This is honestly the standard to which all hotels should aspire. The staff were exceptional. They could not have been more helpful or kinder. We had problems parking when we arrived (due to a festival) and we were very stressed. They simply made the problem disappear and smiled throughout. I could have hugged the receptionist!

It is a fraction tricky to find but only because I hadn’t anticipated the road in front being pedestrianised.

Excellent accommodation. All staff is so friendly, competent and with the sense of customer service, really outstanding!! It is like a five star hotel, so many services, swimming pool, jacuzzi, ecc. Decoration, furniture, ambiance, everything is top!! Located in downtown, all touristic places are reachable by foot. The breakfast is outstanding and very complete.

Expensive parking

Exquisite, elegant and exceptional. The service, decor, amenities, comfort were all 5*. Complimentary spa with wonderful jacuzzis, sauna but weather hindered use of pool although it, too, is so pleasing to the eye. No detail overlooked, kudos to the local owners for job well done and the area history included in decor.

No negatives, in fact, extended my stay because it was such a delightful property.

Good central location, very friendly staff.

AC didn’t work well in the room (general problem with the AC in the hotel) - annoying with the hot summer nights. Beds are quite soft. There was some faucet smell in the room bathroom also.

The hotel is in a good location close to the centre of Angra and on a quiet street.

The room we had was very small. It wasn't clear from the photos or description and on hindsight we should have requested a larger room.

Everything was great, rooms, location, beds. Staff was amazing and went above and beyond accommodating our needs, helping with requests and recommendations. A good breakfast was included. We would definitely stay again when we come back to Terceira.

Air-conditioning was working, but somewhat weak.

An old-fashioned hotel in the best sense of the word. The photos tell the whole story. Incredibly nice and attentive staff. Very good and varied breakfast.

Room 14 faces the patio apparently directly above the kitchen. There might be some noise from machines/cooker hoods until late und early in the morning. Difficult for guests who like to sleep with open window.
