We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Conveniently located in the downtown but a little bit away from the noisiest parts, it's the perfect hideout for exploring the capital. Also, we rented a car, so having a big, free parking walking distance from the hotel was an incredible plus. Breakfast is basic but fresh and delicious! Beds are super comfortable.

Nice stay at Monte Brasil Hotel. Very nice staff and room. I liked the location as it was in the center but it was quiet at night. The breakfast was pretty good with nice scrambled eggs and decent breads. The coffee wasn't to my liking but I find this to be the case in most hotels in Portugal. Bars and cafés have wonderful coffee so I just would grab an expresso close to the hotel. Overall experience at the hotel was positive.

Good location very close to the centre of Angra. Restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. On street parking right outside (meter parking being 08.00- 18.00) Great bakery right next door and a good restaurant across the street on the square where we were able to get a meal after arriving late (10pm) due to rescheduled flights. Fairly quiet rooms, some traffic noise but nothing too bad. Good aircon, though a little complicated. Good shower. Free WiFi. Small fridge in room.

Small rooms- barely enough space to walk between large suitcase and end of bed. Mattress protectors on mattress which were noisy, like someone rustling a plastic bag whenever you moved in bed. Small bathroom. Some dust on floors when we arrived and hair in shower. Very little hanging space.

Room size is enough for one and there are two windows there - in the room itself and in the bathroom so I got more fresh air than my mates staying in other rooms. Breakfast is better than expected from 2-star hotel. Stuff is mostly friendly and willing to help.

Shower is inconvenient - there are no any shelves or holders there so nowhere to put a soap or a shampoo bottle. Room was clean and there were enough towels but they did not notice and left used soap in shower from the previous guest.

Perfect location on Rua Se a short walk to the main square, the sea, restaurants and the bus station. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an elevator which is extremely helpful for us. Breakfast was included. TV had several English-language stations.

The hotel is really well located, right in the centre of Angra Do Heroismo and close to plenty of services like restaurants, mini market, bakery, and other shops. Parking around the hotel is easy and there are free slots just around the corner. The room was clean (and it had a lovely small balcony!) and the staff was super kind and friendly. Breakfast is not extraordinary but it’s definitely enough to start the day. Overall, this is the perfect place to stay when wondering around Terceira, between hiking trials, good restaurants, and sightseeing spots. I can safely say that I recommend this hotel and that I would go back there.

Perfectly nice hotel! We stayed for only one night as we passed through Terceira. Everything was clean and comfortable enough. The wifi was very good, good enough for me to stream and even take a work call. The room is small, but not unmanagable. The staff was helpful and kind. We were surprised at how much we enjoyed the town of Angra, it has a bit more history and architectural beauty than we found elsewhere in the Acores, and this was the perfect location to explore from.

As mentioned, the room was small but not bad. Breakfast is pretty meh, can skip - simple cereals and toasts.

The hotel is very nice and located in the city centre. The staff was really nice and helpful; the room very clean; my stay there was fantastic. Thank you for everything. My holidays were amazing.

Hotel Monte Brasil is nicely situated in Angra do Heroísmo close to cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops. only a 3- 4 minute walk to the center of the city and botanical gardens, and ocean views a 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful, and informative. we enjoyed our stay and definitely will be returning guests for another stay at Hotel Monte Brasil when we return to this lovely Island of Terceira and Heritage City of Angra do Heroísmo We highly recommend Hotel Monte Brasil for the it's comfort, charm, location, and price. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good location. Easy to park for free nearby. Very good insulation in the room considering that the hotel is just right next to one of the busiest roads in Angra. Excellent shower.

Breakfast is of poor quality. A few unexpensive changes would make it acceptable, if not good.
