This hostel is a great place to stay and truly has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable, the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, and the entire place is spotlessly clean with a lovely, inviting look. The kitchen is well-equipped, including a fridge, and there's a cozy lounge area. What really stood out was the incredibly kind and helpful staff- Iris, who went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend staying here!

I loved everything! I had the pleasure of spending a week at Partenope in Terceira Islands, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The hostel itself is modern, fresh, and incredibly cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring that I had a restful night’s sleep every night. The fast Wi-Fi was a great bonus. The water pressure in the showers was superb, providing a refreshing start to each day. However, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly Iris, our amazing host. Her hospitality and kindness truly made the experience unforgettable. She went above and beyond to ensure that I and every guest felt appreciated and cared for, and her tips on local attractions tours and dining were invaluable. During my time at Partenope, I not only enjoyed the incredible facilities but also felt like I gained another family. I have found a place I can return to again and again, and I can't thank Iris enough for everything she did to make my stay so special. I stayed at Partenope for 15 days, and I could really feel like at home. Iris and the staff were super-friendly, caring and always ready to help in any issues. I recommend it to everyone!

I do not exagerate when I chose to rate this wonderful place with 10 out ot 10. I am travelling almost all the time, visiting 87 countries so far, staying in hundreads of hostels around the world. And this is my first and only one 10 rated hostel. The way Iris and her staff are running the place is absolutely uncommon. It is a great example about HOW TO RUN a place that you love yourself and you have created with love, respect and consideration for the guests. There are a lor of small but beautiful details ( lockers, plugs, lights, glasses...) that the guests could discover and enjoy, because the place is extremely clean, quiet, perfect adapted fir the guests needs.The rooms (I stayed în a 6 bed dorm but I was alone or we were only two or three persons) are cosy, with their own bathrooms. The common spaces (kitchen, lounge at the entrance, terrace) are welcoming. The breakfast is great, fresh and healthy, perfect to start a new day in Angra. And if you are lucky (as I was) you pay a good and correct price (regardind the season of course). The pictures on the walls, the memories from Naples (Iris is coming from that city, in Campania, Italy), the two amazing colours (blue and white) make Partenope a wonderful place for the travellers looking for their European cultural and historical roots. I would finally to congratulate Iris and her staff, to thank them for everything and to hope that I will be able to visit again Partenope, Angra, Terceira, Azores, Portugal in the future...

I spent 4 nights. The Partenope is well located. Angra is small town and everything is reachable by foot. Also Mounte Brasil hike. Car can be parked for free on the same or close-by street. It is great place to explore whole island and come back in the evening for quality restaurants. The place itself is recently renovated and well kept, clean and comfortable. The host has been wonderfully helpful and I liked the breakfasts included in the price. This enabled me convenient early starts for hikes round the island. All in all great value!

Comfortable stay that was good value for money. The hostel is clean and has good facilities (washrooms, kitchen, tv rooms, etc.). We stayed in a private room, but there are also small dorm rooms available. Breakfast is good - bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, tea. Iris is very responsive and makes an effort to ensure you enjoy your stay. Would recommend Partenope as a top pick to stay in Angra.

For awareness, the hostel is located at the top of a hill that leads into downtown Angra. It is a short walk but something to consider if you struggle with inclines.

Clothing rack helped dry some clothes, kitchen with all utensils, breakfast as courtesy was nice touch, host was checking on us from time to time. Location is very central, close to bus stops.

Small inconveniences that can be easily fixed: - shelf right on top of the already short sink: difficult to wash face or teeth (can be easily fixed by allocating the shelf in one of the corners of the bathroom); - careful not to fully open the window: there are curtains attachment that can break if fully open the window.

Our stay at Partenope was very comfortable and pleasant. The moment we arrived we were amazed of the easy and modern way to open the door to the building and our room (through an link/app), without having anyone wait for us late at night to give us the key. Our room was clean and cozy, a comfortable place to rest after exploring the island all day. The bathroom conditions were immaculate as well. The fact that breakfast was included took a worry off our shoulders, but some fresh vegetables would've made it better. The kitchen has a stove, microwaves and utensils you can use anytime. If we needed anything Iris and her colleague were always super friendly and ready to help. The place is 2 minutes walking distance from the taxi station, 10 mins from the beach and max. 20 mins to supermarkets and the main bus station from where the buses to every corner of the island leave. I can only recommend this place and hope to find a free room/bed the next time we'll come to visit! Thank you! :)

Loved this hostel! Iris, the owner, is so kind and present. Check in was super easy and I was able to check out late before my flight. The breakfast was wonderful and the rooms are really nice. My room had full bed bunk beds -- it was so nice to have a little bigger space to sleep after twin bed throughout the rest of my trip. The hostel is in a great location too and is super clean!
