Breakfast was just ok at Shipyard - Angra. The breakfast at the Grand Hotel Açores Atlântico, Punta Delgata was absolutely phenomenal and enjoyable!

The manager (Woman) was very unaccommodating and rather rude and mean. I observed her for a while - she was good to some customers but not to others. She was a bit abrupt. If not for her rudeness, we could have had a much better time. All other staff (besides the rude female manager) were fabulous, genuinely caring, accommodating and very kind!! It is time to change your manager to someone else who is pleasant to communicate with and genuinely caring.

The location was excellent near the Marina and a 20 minute walk to the city center. The selection of food at the breakfast buffet was very good and plentiful. The service was exceptional from the front desk to the housekeepers, especially Rueben. He was extremely helpful in resolving an issue we had with a private tour we arranged when it was a no show. We were so grateful for his assistance in communicating with the company on our behalf and resolving the issue.

This hotel was one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hotels I have stayed at in Terceira. I have been traveling to Terceira for years and have never stayed in a hotel like The Shipyard. It is brand new and everything inside and outside was done tastefully and modern. If you are not familiar with Terceira, it is incredibly humid. It is very common to smell or see mold when entering buildings or houses. This hotel is very well cared for, there were no signs of mold and our apartments were kept very clean the entire stay. The breakfast was lovely, the best pastel de natas I've had from Terceira.

The view outside the hotel isn't great and there were unfortunately some smells of sewage when the toilet seat was left open (only in one apartment, not the other).

Amazing service, location and rooms. Exceeded our expectations, given the other 4 star hotels in the other islands. A special mention to Ruben at the front desk and Inĕs of the breakfast staff. The first welcomed us warmly and quickly gave us all the information, the second made our breakfasts great, making us start the morning with a big and friendly smile. Definitely recommend to any Açores traveler. Just one suggestion: add something under the bathroom sink to hide the pipes and set one's toiletries.

Oh my god. The restaurant and staff are a bunch of beauties. You will go to bed dreaming of the breakfasts on site. The location is fantastic at the waterfront near Forte Sao Sebastioao and the marina. Grocery shops are nearby as well as several food trucks for a quick bite. The beds are extremely comfortable and the wifi is zippy quick. The rooms are equipped with a balcony to enjoy some private outdoor space. Rates are rated per duration of your stay: digital nomad rate is quite good considering the facilities. We didn't have a chance to use it, but the gym was well equipped and the upstairs lounge looked like the perfect spot to sack out and enjoy an East facing city view. The housekeeping staff is very sweet and we appreciated the attention to detail!

At some point the air conditioning is shut off on the split wall unit of the bedroom and living room so it gets quite warm in both rooms overnight.

Our 2 bedroom apartment was fantastic for our party of 5. Spotlessly clean, all details are well thought out in a modern way. Everything looks completely new. The kitchen is useful for full meals. Complementary parking and good breakfast. And above all the terrace is amazing, the ocean views, very large and L-shaped surrounding all rooms. I'd book the same room in a heartbeat.

The Oficina restaurant on the ground floor had good ambience, elegant decor and an interesting menu for meals besides breakfast, but we found better value and speedier service elsewhere on the island.

The room was very clean, perfectly designed and had everything one needs. The kitchen with all equipment was a huge plus. There is a parking garage we could use for free.The restaurant is unbelievably good! The breakfast was the best I had in years... We had our dinners also in this restaurant. Very high quality and delicious food. The burgers (vegetarian and meat) were one of the best burgers we ever had. The hotel staff was very friendly. Walking distance to the city center

Nothing to complain about!

Technologically advanced (BT speakers, automatic curtains rtc) room with plenty of space, a kitchenette and a balcony. Friendly staff, good breakfast and great service.

The rooms had a single unit AC meaning that you could not control your own rooms temperature. It was hot even in November with no respite during the night. If you wouldve been able to use it like any normal AC then it definately would be a 10/10, now I wouldnt personally be coming back.

Nice new property. large rooms and great comfortable bed and bedding. The restaurant on site was nice and the breakfast options were fantastic. The staff was super helpful. There was easy to find parking nearby. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk into the main area of town but not inconvenient. It's simple to get to different areas of the island from this location. Communication with the property via whats app was useful.

The air conditioning isn't really Air conditioning. Its more like a fan / dehumidifier... So no cold air. This was a huge disappointment for us. They had someone come and check on it, but even from the hotel communication directly they explicitly stated (in their words via Whats app) "The AC runs on water. They never cool the apartments very much"...and it didn't. They did provide me a fan for the bedroom but I would have wished they would not have advertised the space as having AC.
