We just returned from a fantastic 15-day holiday in Faro, and our stay at this apartment was a major highlight. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The apartment was impeccably clean, and it was clear that great care had been taken to prepare it for our arrival. The decor was absolutely lovely, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It was stylish without being cluttered, and every detail seemed well thought out. Beyond the aesthetics, the apartment was also incredibly practical. It was fully equipped with all the utilities we could possibly need, which made our long stay so much more comfortable and convenient. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the incredible friendliness of the host and their entire team. They were so welcoming and helpful, always available to answer our questions and offer excellent recommendations for exploring Faro. Their hospitality made a real difference to our trip. We can't recommend this place enough and would love to stay here again on our next visit. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable!

We honestly couldn't find a single fault. The entire experience was flawless.

Great location, exceptionally clean, well laid out and outfitted kitchen, comfortable bed. The lady who signed us in was very helpful in answering our questions, giving us information about the town etc. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, the courtyard felt like being at a resort away from but only steps from the city. Bakery, markets and restaurants within a 100 metres of the hotel. The shopping district, more restaurants and the old town are a short walk away.

At the end of the day it would have been nice to access Netflix but the tv showed only cable programming.

It Is Not Something I Didn't Like But Merely A Small Observation. There Was No Full Length Mirror In My Apartment. This Was Discussed With Owner Claudia Who Acknowledged This And Was Very Keen To Rectify. She Responded Very Professionally By Informing Me She Had Every Intention To Add One To The Apartment. She Also Pointed Out And Showed Me Another Apartment That Did Have A Full Length Mirror. Claudia Had Such A Positive Attitude Towards The Running Of The Place, It Would Not Surprise Me If A Full Length Mirror Had Arlready Been Placed On The Wall. I Must Add This Did Not Spoil My Stay In Any Way Whatsoever As Claudia Clearly Gave Such Attention To Detail Making Sure Her Guests Were As Comfortable As Possible.

The location was excellent, being just a short walk to the pedestrian area of the city, the harbour, bus depot and train station. My sister and I were here for 2 weeks and having visited other towns in the region felt that Faro was the correct choice with options, amenities and ease of access, initially as well as for day trips and activities. Claudia and her staff were so friendly and helpful with advise, suggestions and in accommodating our preferences. Our 2 bedroom unit was exceptional with everything we needed to feel right at home, enjoying a number of meals “at home” …although it was hard to resist the many tempting options available and so close at hand.

The 1 bedroom apartment was spacious, clean, and functional. The lounge backs on to a road that has occasional traffic at night that you do hear. There are two air conditioners, fast WiFi and functional kitchen but no dishwasher. Checkin could be earlier than 4pm. We slept comfortably, which is the main thing, and the city center is not far away, with restaurants and cafes being everywhere. The owner and staff were welcoming. There were washing and drying machines for guests use. I would stay here again.

We really like enjoy our stay at the Cardeal Suites. A lovely and very spacious apartment, with high standards, bright rooms, and very comfy beds. We got a welcome bottle of water, cookies, coffee pods and oranges on arrival. The kitchen facilities were excellent, the massive balcony was a bonus so it was the laundry room. Very welcoming staff and very close to everything but in a quiet location. The check in after hours went great and the keypad is brilliant as there is no need for keys that can be lost and anyone in the party can go in an out independently.

We like everything, we only missed an oven but this didn't spoil our stay. A highly recommended place to stay.

We loved everything about Cardeal Apartments. Claudia was very friendly and welcoming, allowing us an earlier check in, which we greatly appreciated, and advising us of the best places to eat/drink, things to see and do, all within walking distance. The little bakery/cafe close to our accommodation where we had breakfast was a great experience too. The Cardeal staff were lovely and work hard to keep all areas immaculate. A perfect short break, peaceful and relaxing yet central to all amenities, places of interest and tours.

Great location, with just a short walk to the main town centre and old town. Claudia (staff) was lovely and helpful. Having access to covered parking with internal access and lift was very handy. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and spacious, with a lovely private terrace.

Self check-in is always handy because we had to plan our arrival time and unfortunately got delayed on the way. This made check-in a bit more complicated as staff were busy when we arrived. On the other hand, however, having a lovely local person meet us meant that we got a personal welcome, could ask questions, and received some tips about what to see.

The place was spotlessly clean, cozy, and beautifully furnished. One of the highlights was the washer and dryer – a big plus, especially for longer stays. The apartment is centrally located, so everything is within easy reach, yet it’s still quiet and peaceful. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll definitely come back!
