Very clean. I had an en suite but the other washrooms looked very clean and the kitchen, should you choose to use it, very well equipped. Close to the centre and also near an Auchan -turn left out of building and right at the top of the street, then a short walk. Lots of interesting produce there to buy loose - nuts, spices, dried fruits. Bus terminal 10 minutes walk. Number 16 to airport €2.50 one way. Check out bus times online. Train station short distance from bus. There was a train strike while I was there so I took the bus to Lagos - I would not recommend to go to Lagos by bus - it took nearly 3 hours each way in low season. Loulé OK on bus. Went to Tavira on train. Tavira most worth visiting of the three additional places I went to, the train goes past Rua Formosa and flamingos were visible (only there Nov-March). The Inn at Faro is in a great location. Near lots of good restaurants and the main city centre. I would return. I requested a hairdryer in advance and it was in the room. BBC Entertainment a chanel on the TV too which was a nice to have. There was nothing that could be improved on.

Very nice quiet cozy place. It was a low season and I completely enjoyed the stay, sometimes I thought I was alone :) Everything is clear, there is a fully equipped kitchen (probably better than my own at home 😉) and a very nice common area. I really like the self check in and check out. Everything was explained very clearly so it was easy to check even after midnight with the late flight. Thank you so much!

The central location and the room were were great! The whole guest house was clean and very well designed. There are a lot of common spaces, including a terrace, a cozy living room, and a kitchen with everything you may need (coffee makers, stove, dishes and pans, toaster..) The room has enough storage space, a table and a window with proper light-blocking curtains

The showers and bathrooms are shared, but are perfectly clean, always available and are right by the room. Would also be lovely to have two blankets in the double room available, as we only had one.

Easy to get in, the room was very clean, the kitchen is well-equipped with 3 fridges, an oven, a stovepot, microwave, even a mixer can be used there. To every room belongs a wooden box in yhe kitchen where you can store dry food. The showers are clean - there could be some more shelves or hangs to put clothes on, but overall super, it can be locked. There are 2 showers in one block, there are 2 blocks that can be used.

The walls are paperthin, I could hear others blowing their nose or someone arrive at the middle of the night.

The Inn Faro-casa Amarela guest house was absolutely beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The Bathrooms and showers were adjacent to the bedrooms. The bedroom I was in was tastefully decorated and included a workdesk and chair. The kitchen was large and very well equipped. The sitting room was fabulous with the building's original wooden floor intact. The roof garden was bright and sunny with lots of seating. Check-in was easy and hassle free. The centre of the town was less than a 10 minute walk away. Joel the manager was in touch with me to make sure everything was OK. I would highly recommend this property. And I hope to return in summer next year.

Very nice place to stay - comfortable room, great common area with kitchen & lounge, very good location with easy access to city centre. Joel is very helpful and quick to respond :)

The place is beautiful and spacious. 🏠 There are 2 floors (5 rooms on each floor), access to patios, a rooftop space for eating (I attached a foto of the rooftop view), cable television, and the kitchen is FULLY-equipped ( for example, there are 2 coffee machines and spices on the shelf). Every room has their own shelf in the fridge and in the freezer. ❄️ We stayed in an ensuite room (room 9), the towels were changed every other day, great WiFi, comfortable bed, the water stream in the shower was great. On the 1st floor there is a lounge room with artificial fireplace. 🔥 The room itself wasn't cleaned during our stay but the kitchen and other areas were cleaned every day. All the surfaces were always clean, the rubbish was taken out every day, maids work very well. !! Joel always responds to the messages. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back one day.

The only thing we didn't like is that there was mold on the wall in the bedroom, and in the bathroom. 🦠 There was no hairdryer.

Great value for money accommodation less than 10 minutes walk to the centre. We stayed in the room with ensuite and terrace on the ground floor at the end of the corridor towards the back of the property. Large room with comfy double bed and terrace. Smallish bathroom. Great shower. Handwash, towels, coffee pods, teas and 2 bottles of water provided. Nothing too much trouble for the owner and fantastic communication throughout. Requested a hairdryer which was left in the room on both occasions we stayed. The room, kitchen and corridors are spotless. Coffee pod machine in the very well equipped shared kitchen plus condiments. Mini market a 4 minute walk away. Easy to find. No external noise.

Noise in the middle of the night from other guests using shared kitchen and scraping kitchen chairs across the floor. En suite terrace room is right next to kitchen and the noise carries sadly.

We recently stayed at Casa Amarela for four days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The facilities were fantastic, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to all amenities and convenient for exploring the area. The kitchen was brand new and well equipped, making it easy to prepare our meals. One of the highlights was the stunning rooftop terrace, where we spent many relaxing evenings enjoying the views. Our host, Joel, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. His hospitality and attention to detail made our visit truly memorable. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning in the future.

Very convenient location. Slightly away from the city center, but conveniently close to the train and bus stations. The Guest House has a well-equipped kitchen for self-catering and many different places to spend time in various weather conditions. The room with a private bathroom is small, but there is everything you need. The shower cabin is tiny, only for slim people. However, you can always use the comfortable showers available in common area. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Even though I showed up at the Guest House three hours before the check-in time, there was no problem in finding a ready room.
