We loved this place. Excellent value for money, beautiful room, great neighbourhood, perfectly placed for bus & metro connections. Original retro features but updated perfectly to retain it's charm. Kitchen for guest's use is a real bonus. Plenty of cafe's, supermarkets & restaurants all around. The heater in our room was out of gas which we only noticed after 8pm when reception was closed, but a quick message to the owners and the situation was resolved in 10 minutes. Great customer service! There no ensuite rooms in the property but there are plenty of shared, clean bathrooms with hot showers etc., so it was not a problem.

Exceptionally respectful and friendly Hosts and Staff; Very clean and Peaceful; bed is comfortable, firm and warm. Great showers after the initial cold shock. Kitchen is fully stocked with all items necessary for cooking with free coffee and water; everyone cleans up really well after themselves. After each day’s wonderful city adventure, we had an excellent night’s peaceful, quiet rest. All the Staff, especially Alexandre are really polite, respectful, exceptionally efficient and helpful. Excellent location – close to metro, parks, shopping, groceries, restaurants and close to downtown; easy access to Museums and city tourist locations. Elevator is so convenient, but be patient… it moves like a turtle. And, unfortunately, out of service on our last out of 6 nights, but staff were very helpful with our luggage. So much to see and do in Lisbon! We will return!

1. No dresser / minimal hangers 2. Only 1 chair when 2 of us were booked in the private room 3. Knives need sharpening 4. Elevator problem 5. It would be great to have a visitor contribution board of the best, most enjoyable tourist experiences while visiting Lisbon, with the name, location, entrance cost and 1-2 sentences of what they appreciated the most.

Good location. The room and the bathroom was clean. The nearest bathroom was right opposite, and there was always a free bathroom available. Luggage storage was really convenient.

Our room (No. 1.) looked at a very busy street, it was difficult to sleep even with earplugs. The kitchen was crowded most of the times, there is no electric kettle. No dishwasher, everybody is expected to do the washing up, which raises hygiene issues in my opinion. More cleaning in the kitchen would be appreciated.

We had a very late flight and didn’t arrive at the place till 1:20am but it was no problem. The code was easy to get into the building. No elevator heads up. And grabbed our room key and info sheet that was on the desk prepped for us. We loved how intentional the space felt. We were only there for one night and were out exploring all day for our layover. Check out is 11 so once we woke up we self checked out at 8:30am and left our bags in the luggage room. They have smaller lockers (bookbag sized) just have your own lock. And open shelves for suitcase or bigger items. The room is not locked so it is at your risk. But honestly it felt safe and I didn’t feel worried at all to leave my stuff. The place did have cameras in the hallway.

The beds were a bit firm, but we were so tired we just knocked out so it was fine for us. I saw some comments that there’s morning traffic for bathrooms and I believe it haha. We woke up at 8 and 2/4 bathrooms were in use. So we were fine but I could see there being a slight wait if everyone is up.

Very nice hostel with the atmosphere of old cozy Lisbon. We talked to the staff for exactly 2 minutes, but the communication was pleasant. Nice location. Comfortable room with a balcony for two people. The kitchen had everything we needed. Very convenient that you can leave your things after check out.

I didn't really like the email where the owner (?) asked not to write a review on booking.com if there are any negative comments but text directly. Very cool that you are trying to gather feedback and make a difference, but customers have every right to share any feedback on any free platforms. I shared feedback personally that our sheets were stained - hopefully that will be fixed.

I think this is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Very clean everywhere (especially the toilets and the kitchen - this is very important to me), unlimited filtered water, free tea and coffee, a new sponge for dishes - it was the first time I enjoyed washing dishes in a hostel =) Everything you need to cook is there - good dishes, a clean stove, a microwave, toaster, kettle, oven, even oil and spices for common use. I would say that this hostel knows all the important little things for a comfortable stay of their guests! Also there is a very pleasant smell everywhere! that's the first thing I noticed. Very nice atmosphere, helpful staff (I had a birthday and they presented me a bottle of wine 💔), they gave us extra blankets, replaced towels, were always attentive to us.

Located in a safe area, about half hour enjoyable walk from centre - but lots of restaurants etc surrounding it We stayed in a private room - best mattress I've slept on in a long time Shared bathrooms were all clean and there was plenty of them. Showers had boiling hot water which was amazing Receptionist was lovely and let us check in super early - we were coming off a long flight and it was much appreciated The day after we were also able to leave our luggage in storage There is a also a shared kitchen and living room space you can use.

The lift felt a bit dodgy as it's old and slow - otherwise it's a walk up three flights of stairs

A very nice hostel which lived up to its expectations and looked exactly like the provided photos. The room was really good, the bathrooms were very clean, good value for money! Convenient and easy check-in and check-out. Good location, very close to a metro station which could take you directly into the city centre. We were in Lisbon for three nights and this hostel was perfect for our stay.

Everything was good, I can't really think of anything that I wasn't satisfied with.

The hostel is located in a very good location with easy access to public transport - if you prefer to walk to the city center, it is not a bad street either to do so as it is not extremely hilly. Our room had a nice little balcony, a nice size double bed and it was well decorated. Towels were provided. Bed was comfy and everything was clean. We found it very quiet as well.

Some things could do with a refresh such as the bath tub in the was very old and rusty. Lift wasn't working and the stairs were old and cranky - as the hostel is on the 3rd floor this compromises accessibility for some. A fan or air con in the bedroom would have been nice as it was very hot under a 25 degree day - can't imagine how you would survive the heat during those 35+ degrees days.

Very quiet and well decorated hostel. The kitchen and bathrooms are lovely with beautiful typical Portuguese tiles. I appreciated the staff's kindness and the free coffee in the kitchen. You can also have corn flakes and a piece of cake for breakfast, that was a kind attention. I felt like at home.

The hostel isn't located in the best part of Lisbon but you can easily reach the center on foot. You also have a tram stop ( of the famous Line 28 ) located less than 10 minutes on foot from the hostel.
