I liked the location of a hotel. It's 3-4 minutes of walking from 2 metro stations (Anjos and Arroios). I was able to reach the hotel via Uber by paying only 5 Euros from Terminal 2 airport. A lot of supermarkets and restaurants are in the same vicinity. I was able to walk to the old town centre by 25 minutes walk. Joanna from Reception was superb and very helpful. Joanna explained all touristic sites with a lot of enthusiasm. She was the best. Rooms are clean. 🛌 and pillows were soft and comfortable. Breakfast choices were also great and healthy.

The shower 🚿 area in the bathroom is super small. It is very difficult to go in and out of the shower area.

We chose Empire Lisbon Hotel based on reviews. We stayed 6 nights, The hotel is located very closely to metro station, very convenient and we felt very safe during our stay. We had a very comfortable room with good air-conditioning, good bedding, very clean bathroom. There is no kettle inside the room but we can borrow with a $20 refundable deposit. Very good breakfast are included, including good coffee machines, we cannot find fault. We have booked shuttle to be picked up from and go to airport. Good services with reasonable charges. There's only one thing to mention, is that there are noises of running ambulance or police cars on the maim streets but only noises in day time. It's very quiet at night and didn't affect our sleeping. We felt so lucky to pick this hotel. Hope our reviews also benefit to the next travellers.

Hotel - value for money. Rooms well furnished with enough space, also very clean. Breakfast was excellent with lots of variety to choose from, clean. Staff very professional, friendly and helpful. They answered every question we had, gave us some good advice on moving around the city and arranging for shuttle service. Everything with a smile and with best possible option for the guest. Location - metro station in front of the hotel. The shuttle service to the airport was excellent. The driver was super helpful, polite and professional (helping with luggage, making sure we get to the right terminal, big and clean vehicle, honest-when we wanted to pay at the airport, he reminded us that we had already paid for that service through the hotel the day before). Overall excellent customer experience.

It was very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We had to leave early before the free breakfast started and they packed us each a box at 6:00 am.

We had asked for an accessible room when we booked with booking.com but that information wasn’t passed along but they did everything they could to accommodate our needs.

Nice, clean rooms and good breakfast with plenty of options. The location was also nice, very close to the metro station and 20 minutes walking to the city center.

The staff was a little slow, it took very long time to check-in.

Good location with easy access to the airport and metro at the door step. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was always helpful, in particular Beatriz, she was awesome receiving us and arranging an early access to the room.

This hotel is one of the best 3-star hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was spacious, the TV excellent, with movie and music channels. The bathroom had hand soap, shampoo, and unlimited shower gel. There were tissues in the room as well. The breakfast was extremely good — generous, hearty, and impressive. They even served pastel de nata! The hotel staff were discreet, kind, and helpful. At the reception, there’s a UV-filtered water dispenser, so you can get fresh water daily. I honestly don’t have words to describe how wonderful this hotel is. The metro station is just a 2-minute walk away.

Everything is super good. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, with plenty of natural light if you draw the curtains, clean, tidy, and cozy. The bathroom was excellent — it included soap, shampoo, shower gel, a shower cap, and a hairdryer. Towels were changed regularly, and the hygiene of the sanitary facilities was maintained daily. The staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was diverse, catering to all kinds of people and cultures. I’m truly satisfied that I stayed in this hotel.

There was only one thing I didn't like. Considering that the weather wasn’t particularly warm during our stay, I needed the room to be warm and cozy when I returned from long walks. However, the air conditioning was set to cool at 20 or even 18 degrees, which made my stay in the room even more difficult and uncomfortable. There is a thermostat in the room, but it’s useless — it can’t be switched to heating mode, and the air conditioning turns off automatically. I went to the reception several times to complain about this and was told that the temperature is set automatically for all rooms and cannot be changed, only turned off if it doesn’t suit us. This is the one and only complaint I have about the entire stay here.

Very good value for a very clean and comfortable hotel. Location suited us brilliantly, close to the airport for either metro or Uber, and right beside a metro station on the line 4-5 stops from the central points of interest. Plenty of high quality restaurants in the area with great prices. Staff are friendly and helpful if you need any directions or recommendations. Room was larger than expected spotlessly clean. Breakfast was really plentiful and decent for this price point .

Hours for breakfast could be extended a little.

On arrival the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The reception area was immaculate and very pleasant. The room was very clean, modern and was the perfect temperature. It was well set out and bathroom toiletries were provided. The room had a fridge so we could store our drinks and snacks, the hotel also provided fresh drinking water each day in the room. The breakfast was satisfactory. When we knew we would miss breakfast we asked for a box to take away which was perfect, they also prepared us a small breakfast box on the day we left due to our early flight. The location was perfect for the metro and had a small supermarket two doors down so was convenient for grabbing snacks. It was very quiet, we heard no noise whatsoever however we were in a room at the back. All in all it was an exceptionally pleasant stay.

No kettle in the room although due to the reviews we knew this so just paid €20 and received it back on departure. The outlook at the back of the hotel isn’t that pleasant however, the room was for sleeping so that never really lot bothered us, it was more important that it was quiet.
