The staff were very nice, checked us in even at 00.30 AM. The bathroom was spacious, the room could have used some space for the luggage (perhaps underneath the bed). I can imagine it can become a bit crowded with 4 people. With 3 people, it was comfortable. The breakfast was good! A bit of variety every two days. One time, there wasn't enough tables for everyone but we quickly got a table after one group finished. The view from the window was quite nice from the 5th floor - especially the sunset. The hotel is close to a metro station, with which you can reach the centre and airport easily.

Everything was super! Buuut, the highlight goes to Ana, the friendliest agent who understood we had issues with our car and rebooked our stay three different times with a smile and comforting words. The room is modern and cute, with a little balcony and they even had a little blanket and a water bow ready for our dog! We were very pleased and cannot recommend it enough. Way to go, this place is a family business for 3 or 4 generations and it’s definitely honoring its tradition to be welcoming and hospitable! 5 stars!!!

Sometimes you have to look off the path of large showy hotels. This was a boutique style hotel. Service was great. The breakfast was full of choices and delicious. The beds very comfortable. Everything managed very well and the hotel very clean. Lots of restaurants and cafes with pastry shops nearby. We were on our way to the airport after our lovely time visiting parts of beautiful Portugal.

We spent three nights at Hotel Luena in Lisbon and had a genuinely pleasant experience. While the hotel itself is not positioned as a high-end or luxurious property, it more than makes up for it with its exceptional service and dedicated staff. From the moment we arrived, the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special thank you goes to the reception staff Rodilf & Caio, whose professionalism, warmth, and helpful attitude truly enhanced our stay. One particularly memorable moment was on the evening of my birthday. To my surprise, the operations manager had thoughtfully arranged a handwritten birthday note and a bottle of champagne in the room — a kind and personal gesture that meant a lot to me and showed how attentive the staff are to their guests. Breakfast each morning exceeded expectations. It was well-organized, fresh, and had a wide selection of options that catered to various preferences. Everything needed for a wholesome and satisfying meal was available, and it was replenished regularly. The 24-hour reception was a great convenience, especially for guests arriving late or needing assistance at any time. Our room was cleaned and neatly arranged on a daily basis, which contributed to the overall sense of care and attention maintained throughout the hotel. In terms of location, Hotel Luena is very well situated. It’s close to a Metro station and has several bus stops nearby, making it easy to navigate Lisbon. The surrounding area also has a good range of restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets, adding to the overall convenience of the stay. In summary, Hotel Luena might not offer luxury on the surface, but it certainly delivers in heart, hospitality, and quality of service — and that’s what made our stay truly enjoyable.

The hotel staff is very dedicated, the entire hotel is very clean, and the breakfasts are delicious. You can count not only on the professionalism of the staff, but also on valuable tips on how to best navigate the city and where to eat. We were fortunate to be greeted at the hotel by Damián Conci on arrival. The entire check-in process was a pleasure. Damián provided us with a wealth of information on how and where to best get around the city, making everything easier for us. Thanks to people like Damián, Hotel Luena is becoming a place we want to return to.

The hotel is in an ideal location, close to local shops and restaurants and to the Metro. Staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble, especially Julia, Ismael and Anna. The complimentary drinks and pastries at the reception is a nice touch.

The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the breakfast was decent with enough variety. The front desk staff I interacted with Julia and Alexandria were friendly and super helpful in everything. The other receptionists I had limited interaction but were also very polite, professional, and helpful. The housekeeping staff also do a good job clearing and organising rooms very quickly.

The room was a bit small with a single window facing within the building, which unfortunately means no view and no sunlight. Good motivation to get out and explore the city during the day.

We stayed at Hotel Luena for three nights, and our experience was fantastic! We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a birthday card, which was such a thoughtful gesture that truly showed their dedication to guests. 🍷🎉 The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Housekeeping took great care of it every day, which we really appreciated. The location is excellent, very close to a metro station, making it quick and easy to reach the city center. Breakfast was delicious, served as a buffet with a great variety of options. The entire hotel is well-organized, cozy, and charming, making us feel right at home. We highly recommend Hotel Luena to anyone visiting Lisbon – it’s truly a wonderful choice! 👏

Very friendly, smiley staff. Very clean and neat room. Breakfast was also tasty. Location.

The hotel was restless, all the sounds came from the corridors above and below and from other rooms. No soundproofing. Also, every morning from 6 am someone started dragging and moving something. The room is much smaller than the presentation in the pictures suggests. The view of the courtyard is also false, which means an air conditioning pipe running between the buildings or a dark "maintenance corridor" or something like that. There is no information about sunlight. There is no view of the courtyard.

Location, Clean, quiet. Great staff, especially Ana front desk & the breakfast staff were all wonderful. The street is noisy, but the windows totally block out street noise. This hotel is located in a perfect area! Close to metro( green line) & walkable to various neighborhoods. ( our favorite is Saldahna) which is also a metro stop on the red line. Neighborhood stationery store is 50 steps away from hotel & Fatima & her husband are just wonderful & sell the daily metro refillable cards. Hotel rooms were spotless & bed was comfortable. Bathroom was large & very nice! The breakfast was amazing! You must try their homemade yogurts!!! Lobby has fresh drinks & treats everyday in the lobby😎

That they allow dogs☹️ Luckily it was only on our last day we had to experience elevator & lobby full of flying dog hair & the barking dog at 1:30am that woke me up.
