Location's very nice for those who like peace and quiet away from the crowds, the stuff were friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, the room spacious and clean, the whole guesthouse decorated with care and taste, wifi worked well. I also appreciated a comfortable dressing table and a powerful hair dryer. Common kitchen was very well equipped and supplied (there's cold herbal tea on the counter - loved it!, fresh fruit, homemade cake, tea, coffee, milk, yoghurt, breakfast cereal etc.).

We had a bus stop right outside the window, which meant noise from 6 am onwards if we kept the window open. We had a bathroom for ourselves as booked, but it was along the common corridor, so we had to get dressed and get a key to use it and the hot water regulation was a bit temperamental (bathroom was charming though, loved Beethoven's Bagatelle op. 33 sheet music as decoration).

Great kitchen, with basic breakfast supplies provided (coffee, tea, milk, bread and jam for toast, fruit). Attractive balconies for guest use. Laundry available in house (arrange with staff). Clean and well maintained; eclectic decor (nice style). Pleasant area — quiet, nearby coffee shops/restaurants, grocery stores, take-out roast chicken shop, park, etc. For those who like to walk, it’s a nice walk to the city centre; otherwise, the tram and the bus stop very near the guesthouse.

As stated in the descriptions, most of the rooms do not have private bathrooms — we were well aware of this and found the two shared bathrooms to be clean, neat, and well supplied, and we never had an issue with accessing a bathroom when needed. The guesthouse wasn’t fully occupied during our stay, though. The wall between our room and the neighbouring room needs better soundproofing, although the guests next door during our stay were mostly quiet.

Really beautiful building .The hostel is really nice! The building is old and it has a beauty on it's own. The room we were staying was big enough, the bed really comfortable and we had also a nice balcony to sit outside. It has a beautiful kitchen to cook , eat or just drink your morning coffee. The host was really helpful &kind with everything. It has a lot of transportation near by to get you whenever you want. The area is quiet and you can walk 10 minutes to Bairro Alto to find some night life. I would totally recommend it!

Excellent location, great value for money and very friendly hosts. There were so many extra details that had been thought of to make it a real home from home experience! So much food in the communal kitchen including fresh cake every day (was told it would be breakfast items and tea, coffee etc. but this was beyond what you would expect on that basis). Large room and extremely comfortable bed.

It was noisy from the street at night, which meant my sleep was disrupted... I think there were building works going on overnight in the next street. I was at the front of the building, and am a light sleeper - maybe should have asked for a quiet room in my booking notes! The curtains were beautiful but not black out which did not help. I had not realised the private bathroom was external not an ensuite. I think this was a small sacrifice to make for the price though as was extremely good value for Lisbon.

The room was very clean and nice. We liked the shared kitchen and all of the untensiles inside. The host was kind and open. The only two issues we’ve had was with the lack of warm water during evenings- probably due to many guests using shower at the same time. The ventilation of the bathroom was poor and our towels were not drying. Also the locks to the rooms were tricky to use. Sometimes it took a bit of time to open the door. Overall I would reccomend this place and choose it to stay in the future.

I was in the Montserrat Room and the interior design was just beautiful. The bed was also very comfortable. I did not use the kitchen, but it was very clean and looked well appointed. Also there is free coffee and tea and free fruits. You can also do your laundry for a very reasonable price. The location is very good, close to the Tejo and the city centre and in a very nice neighborhood with excellent cafés and good restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

the place is in a great location, close by a really cool neighborhood and the vibe is good. i liked the shared kitchen and the shelf with the free food.

The door to our room had a lock that is the simplest lock, like one that you usually use inside home to lock an inside door. we had very expensive gear with us, and although we knew that there is very little chance that someone would try to enter the room, we felt it is a little unsafe for us. nothing happened but we did not like the fact that we are worried about that.

This the first time i experience that they will welcome you,show you around and let you feel comfortable.thanks Pedro and Tiago!They have all you need.kitchen for all with free snacks,coffee,tea,bread etc.like your own house.They also have a books that you can borrow.The room has a stunning wood designs that i really love.I like the dressing area with mirror that you can see your whole body OOTD(outfit of the day)and a wardrobe to hang your clothes.very generous in toilet tissue.you can hear the talk and minimal noises in outside hallway but if you close the bedroom door,all fine.it has bedroom door that separated the bathroom and dressing area/entrance of the main room.Recommended and surely we will come back when we visit lisbon again.

The aircon is centralized,so we cant control it.Our room has a thick comforter.we backed in afternoon to rest a bit and the room was too cold.and when we backed late in the evening.the temprature was tricky for me, when i used comforter,i feel hot and when not,i feel cold.we are tired and sleepy and didnt think to remove the comforter to use its cover as a blanket.i think that would be enough.or maybe a thin comforter is better.only that nothing else.

Located right on the Famous No 28 tram route, beautifully decorated Guest House. The very nicest of hosts and absolutely nothing for us to complain about. Easy to get too...Metros from Airport to Rato and then the 713/773 will drop you outside the front door. Taxi is also only €15 early in the morning. Drivers obliged by law to run meter. It’s a lovely atmosphere, perfect location, and the guest house is so well run, kindly offering coffee, cookies, basic staples for cooking and full use of a well equipped kitchen. The shared bathrooms were also kept very clean. The terrace is a very nice, quiet retreat.

We booked a “standard” as that was all that was available. It should be noted that the guesthouse indicated the size correctly. In the end, this room would be small for a single traveler. (Not even enough space for one bedside table). We are very light travelers when it comes to luggage, and it was really cramped. We loved the guesthouse, but would not recommend this room for 2 travelers.
