The property has a very cool design, all newly refurbished and modern. A lovely lady at the reception upgraded me and my aunt and we stayed in a lovely apartment with kitchen. High ceilings and wooden floor made the apartment look very smart. The cleaning was top notch.

Casas de São Bento is very well situated. It’s a 20 minutes walk to the city center and you can easily get there by bus or tram. The hotel’s neighbourhood is charming and peaceful. Our room was B E A U T I F U L, cosy and we had an amazing view over the São Bento Palace. The kitchen is well equipped and rooms are cleaned frequently by friendly staff! Thank you all so much for the amazing place to stay during our trip to Lisbon.

The hotel provides parking at a day cost, but it was already booked, because we chose not to take it, so we parked in the streets for free during the weekends. During the week, we parked our car in a private parking, just a little bit further from the hotel. Parking in Lisbon is a little bit inconvenient.

I honestly could not fault this accommodation. It was exceptional in every way. Lovely spacious apartment, with really high quality fittings (e.g. SMEG appliances), nice toiletries and the port and pasteis de nata on arrival were a lovely touch. The bed was huge and the linen was so luxurious. It's in a brilliant location - easily walkable to the city centre, but in a quiet, safe area, with lots of nice restaurants and bars within a minute's walk... We were sad to leave... Don't hesitate - book it!

Comfortable appartment with very nice period featues and styling. Superb heritage view from the windows. Large rooms and plenty of storage space, well equipped kitchinette, very comfy bed. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly.

The street is quite noisy but the double glazed windows worked well. The A/C would be great at drowning out any residual noise but at it doesn't work well on fan only mode.There's no metro station nearby so the best transfer method from the airport is by Uber or private transfer. Ubers and Taxis are cheaper in Lisbon than many cities. Its a hilly 35 minute walk into the centre. Entirely doable if you are fit! (Or use tram 28). Take care on the pavements which can be sliperry and uneven!

Our stay was lovely. The front of house manager was helpful and friendly and the apartment was spacious and really well appointed. The kitchen was perfect. I often think it would be good to be able to 'pay for' a kitchen basics pack - which one could opt for - with salt, pepper, oil, etc. We loved our stay.

The only thing that was frustrating is that there were 3 of us but the apartment was only 'made up' for two people. I had to go to reception and ask for the bedding and towels etc for another person and had to make the sofa bed up, put on the duvet and there was no pillow. I think it was a housekeeping error. Not the end of the world but also not something I, as a Mum who has to do this all the time, wanted to do in the evening having had a lovely day out!.This would not deter me from staying there again though.

Beautifully appointed property. Very clean, spacious, well decorated, comfortable. Everything you could need was there. Some lovely extra touches of fresh pastries and port wine on arrival and coffee pods, tea and bottled water.in the fridge. Lovely warm welcome from the staff and a detailed tour of the apartment.

The wifi was very poor. It was not strong enough to search the Internet for ongoing time. The tv could not play Netflix because of poor wifi. We could not make business calls etc. It is fine for checking messages and email just not streaming anything. There was very loud construction work in the apartment above from 8.30am-4.30pm each weekday. It was so loud we could not stay in the apartment. We were happy to go out sightseeing but if we had wanted to stay on the apartment it would have been most uncomfortable. We were not warned about this but do not think it had anything to do with the property itself. The staff could not have been nicer. Very welcoming.

Impeccable apartment, beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean. Port and pastries offered at check in. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen is fully equipped with good applicances Large apartment including a dressing area next to the bathroom. Separate aircons for the two rooms. No noise at night. Excellent location directly facing the Parliament building. Walk from there to riverfront, or to downtown locations. Upscale neighborhood with many small, quality restaurants and trendy stores close by. Responsive and helpful host team. Small confusion over booking details at check in, but this was quickly and fully resolved by the host and his team, who really jumped on finding a full solution. Wonderful apartment, wouldn’t hesitate to select it again

We stayed in one of the apartments and it was beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped, with a great view of the Assembly building right across the street. It’s not a heavily trafficked tourist area and we liked that, but close enough to walk to areas like Bairro Alto and Chiado. There are great restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Upon request, the apartment was cleaned daily, with coffee pods and bottled water replenished. There were pastels de nata and port waiting for us when we arrived, which was a very nice touch. Overall a great experience.

The WiFi signal in the apartment was weak and inconsistent. Also, a few days before arrival, I inquired about reserving an onsite parking spot. There were none available but staff recommended a nearby parking garage. When I asked if they knew the daily rate, the response was, “I have no idea.” I did not feel that this was a satisfactory response demonstrating good customer service. If recommending a parking facility nearby, staff should be able to tell guests the daily rate. Incidentally, it was 18€ per day.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here in three different rooms and I would stay again without hesitation. The rooms are beautiful and elegant and the location is ideal, just on the edge of the old town but ways from the crowds. The bathroom in the patio room is a real statement piece, absolutely beautiful. The rooms at the front the Houses of Parliament but the road seems quiet at night. Rooms at the back are very quiet.

Nothing to dislike. A few people have mentioned air fresheners but honestly, you can just switch them off or unplug them if you don’t like them.
