Pedro's B&B is exceptional. It is a beautiful place where you truly feel as if it is your home. The furniture is tasteful and original, the breakfast marvellous and as there are so few rooms you feel like a family. Our wonderful experience started from Pedro reaching out to us before our arrival (in perfect English) and upgrading us without us even asking. Not only was the room larger, but because we wanted two beds he hauled another bed and mattress in from an adjacent property and sourced extra pillows. This was the first hotel on Portugal this trip that had a proper feather duvet, in addition to beautiful towels and a lovely tiled bathroom. In the morning, we met Diane serving breakfast...all you could want and the most divine freshly squeezed orange juice. She was able to advise us as well as to an itinerary. Setting out we realised we were in the perfect location, in the midst of the town without the noise in our room. When we return to Lisbon, we will only stay with Pedro. It is a truly special place. We were able to leave our bags at his prior to our flight and enjoyed a cookie left by Irene upon leaving. ***** Five Stars!

Loved the old fashioned balconies (even had a slight view of the Targus river far off down the street) and the made to order breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and baked goods was incredible! So nice not having to hunt down breakfast in the mornings and start our busy day off right! Very close to Pink Street, time Out market and Bica streetcar. We were able to use the fridge and kitchen if needed. The family room we booked was huge too!

The beds were a bit squeaky and mattresses not the most comfortable. For checkin or dropping off bags, since there is not a reception, they should just send the guests the code to the door to make for an easier self check-in.

The location is great. Walkable to the touristic attractions (but not in the heart of it, which is good because it is a calmer area), close to restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Catarina, was amazing. Her customer service and communication skills are much appreciated. She was helpful and kind. Launa was always nice to answer questions and serve the breakfast. The room (with a private external bathroom) was big, with a comfortable bed, a desk, and side tables. The window was facing another building (which was okay, but I think I would prefer to have an unobstructed view). The room had a heater, which was nice. I had my own key to enter the apartment building, another key for my room, and a third one for the bathroom. The private bathroom was in a hallway, at the corner between the kitchen and the hallway/entrance. The bathroom was fine, with good water pressure in the shower. However, the bathroom had tinted windows facing the dining room, where people were eating. They cannot see you, and you cannot see them because the windows are tinted, plus there is a tiny inner court. But I did feel uncomfortable. Moreover, it felt strange to exit my room, walk in the hallway, and go to my private bathroom. I will not do this again because I prefer to pay more for greater comfort and peace of mind. You could hear everything from your room (people walking in the hallway, coming into the building, talking in the kitchen). The room's sound isolation wasn't good. The kitchen was nice with a good dining area. The breakfast included fresh bread, ham, cheese, freshly squeezed juice, jams, and real chicken eggs (looked natural and not like the ones from supermarkets) that we could cook on our own. There were also teas and coffee. I enjoyed the breakfast, especially the juice and eggs. Yums! Yet, I'd love to see more variety: for example, different cheeses, or maybe avocado guac, and milk alternatives. The price for location+breakfast was good.

I think the best thing about the property is the location. You are basically in the middle of the things, with all main points in walking distance. Anything further can be reached by bus, tram or metro, all of them having stops/stations nearby. The room was as described on the Booking.com site, Catarina being very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent and more than enough for a good start of the day.

There are a lot of construction sites around the area, so it is a little dusty. As for the property, the only negative side is that you can hear every noise from the neighbours' rooms.

Centrally located, large, clean and nice house. Safe zone of city for families. House manager Luana is very helpful, gives a lot of information and responds quickly to the questions.

Bathroom sink is too high for children. A portable step board may solve this problem. There is no window in the house because of its unique structure. The quality of breakfast is good but needs more alternatives.

Ample room for three. Very good location with many attractions and restaurants at a walking distance. The included breakfast is great and you can access a common kitchen anytime. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it. We had a good time.

We stayed in two different rooms for different days. The bathroom on the first one was sort of hazardous and uncomfortable to stay in. The place could be noisy at night but you are downtown...also traffic was much higher than usual because of construction and route deviation.

Good breakfast with fresh pressed orange juice and good coffee. If one need vegetables one need to buy them oneself but there are rolls, cheese, eggs and some ham also cereals and müssli and some fruits so you won't get out hungry. We liked the kitchen that we could use free also during the day, it was well equipped and nice. We also have had the opportunity to make ourselythe breakfast on the last morning when we had to leave before the official breakfast time. We were happy that we could wash out things, as there's washmascjinenand thunbledryer (this one we didn't use as it was occupied but it's there 🙂)in the kitchen. We were also happy to notice that there was mosquito net in the window. The owner was very nice and helpful, you could see that she want us to feel welcome.

The street at night was pretty loud so we had to sleep with closed windows (they muffled pretty well and on the plus the owner provided earplugs that one could use). There was not really good place to sit in the room (one old chair that was more decorative than comfortable). For three nights was not dramatic but for longer could be annoying. There were also not many possibilities to unpack (one Ikea rack with textile schelfs) also not dramatic for 2-3 nights, I was ok with unpacking on the floor but may be important info for someone.

Our room and bathroom were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was brilliant with bars and excellent places to eat close by - we went to Letras Brava just across the road and Taberna Tosca - great food and service. Breakfast was simple and delicious - fresh bread roll, jam, cereals, yogurt and eggs for you to cook your way in a well equipped kitchen. We also took an apple each day, which was a nice snack when you're out sightseeing all day. Catarina gave excellent directions on how to find the place and was very responsive via Whatsapp to any questions we had.

Our room didn't look like the room in the picture BUT it was fine. Maybe add a few pictures and more stable shelves in the wardrobe space. The area, due to the popularity of the local bars, is a bit noisy until 3am. However, it's part of the area's appeal so, close the windows and wooden shutters and turn on the fan if you're not out late and want to sleep. It's an old building and there are creaking floorboards so people on the floor above can be heard. Again, it's part of the appeal of being in a place that isn't a sterile, soundproofed hotel room.

Good communication with the hoster. She wrote in Whatsup to inform with all details how to find all doors :) Common kitchen is well equipped, also there were some shared fruits. Love such huge ceilings.

When we came into the breakfast there was nobody who can help with options. There were just some plates with cheese, ham, jam and raw eggs, so I was a bit confused since the hoster mentioned that there will be someone on the kitchen who will be able to navigate us. Also a bit uncomfortable bathroom with a low ceiling and requires some renovation.

Clean. Quet. Our room was huge! The beds were very comfortable. Lots of el.outlets. Well equipped kitchen. Despite the fact that our windows overlooked the street, it was quite quiet. Very good location, transportation is very close and there was no problem to get somewhere. There are always a lot of people walking, so it was comfortable to return even at night. Good WiFi. The owner is always in touch and answers all our questions very quickly!

This was not a problem for us (we enjoyed our stay in this hotel, it is really good), but maybe it will be useful for someone: 1. The room was not cleaned and towels were not changed every day (we stayed for 3 nights and used the same towels all these days) 2. A big bug lived with us :) it looks like he was more afraid of us than we were of him 3. Very, very simple breakfast
