Check in was fast and efficient. The room was super cool. Concrete factory meets Encanto! Roof top pool bar was sensational. The mocktails were really good! The maintenance man even help lift up some decking to help us retrieve a lost chess piece. The hotel breakfast offered hot, cold and sweet breakfast options - and great coffee and Pastel de Nata We had a health scare and the staff were amazing, the management team went above and beyond expectation. All in a 5 star hotel in a perfect location to walk or Bolt in to town.

I am having to think quite hard on this question. I wish the evening food menu could have offered more than just pizzas. The pizza were amazing and we tried most of the topping options.

Quirky hotel. Clean and well kept. Family room had a double bed and a bunk bed arrangement for the kids, which they liked. Breakfast was decent hotel fair in a buffet arrangement. Roof top bar with a plunge pool - note it gets very busy late afternoons when people return from exploring the city. Great restaurants walkable, some local ones in the streets behind the hotel five minutes away or.15-20.minites for lots more.

Room was quite small and there was no balcony/private outside space. Location is ok - it's next to the river but a good 20-30 minute walk to the main historic centre of Lisbon. That said, there are buses and trams which are regular...728 bus is a very busy route. Also, it is a good location if heading on the bus/tram in the other direction (towards Belem).

We had a lovely stay at JAM Lisbon. The hotel is spotless, stylishly decorated, and in a fantastic location. Reception is staffed 24/7, and there’s complimentary water and coffee available in the common areas at all times—a thoughtful touch. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and overall, the property is very well run.

That said, our expectations going in were shaped by online research suggesting a lively, social atmosphere for travelers in their 30s. In reality, the vibe skewed heavily toward families—likely due to the room layouts—and the rooftop pool (while nicely located) is quite small and was constantly full of children. This also meant we didn’t end up using the upstairs bar or pool at all. Bottom line: I’d happily recommend JAM Lisbon for families looking for a chic, central base. For young groups of friends seeking a more vibrant, adult-oriented scene, it’s probably not the right fit.

Overall, our stay was very nice. The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel’s style was unique and interesting. The table tennis room was great, and the location was excellent, with good connections to the city. Overall, it was a pleasant short stay!

The facilities were good, but the pool wasn’t very big or wide. It was also quite crowded and didn’t feel very inviting. Breakfast was okay but nothing special. The selection was a bit limited, but acceptable for an average breakfast buffet.

Distinct design, very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were cleaned and maintained very well. Rooftop small pool was good for kids. Personally liked the location being a little bit out of the way from the very busy parts of the city. Plenty of food and drink options within walking distance.

Unfortunately there were construction works occuring in the building attached to the hotel which were clearly audible throughout the day, and even vibrating the room a little. It would have been good to know in advance as we like to enjoy a slow start to our day on holiday.

We loved the decor, friendly and helpful staff, the pool area was a really nice place to hang out during the day and in the evening for drinks. Comfortable beds, a quiet room and an easy walk to local restaurants and bars.

The breakfast was nice, however a little bit limited for vegans - no vegan butter for toast or warm dairy free milk for coffee (adding cold oat milk made the black coffee cold). We loved the room but wished there was a mirror in the bedroom, not just the bathroom. When 3 or 4 of us were trying to get ready it was tricky when we couldn't all get in the bathroom at once.

Great hotel in modern look and although the concrete design is not my favorite I understand it, see the advantages and did not mind. Sustainability is high on the agenda which is important. The rooms were functional and well thought through, really clean with all facilities you need as a traveler. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we felt that it was meant and not only professional. Overall a great hotel to stay, for one day but also for more days, for individuals or groups. Really liked it.

There were only 2 things I liked less: First there were issues with the kitchen, and breakfast was organized but very basic without need for kitchen or kitchen staff. Don't know the issues but I'm sure that gets sorted in the future. The other issue was location: The hotel is not difficult to reach, but still some 15 minutes walk away from the city center. So it's not really central but not far away from the general tourist attractions. Train, walking by foot, cycling, buses, trams are all within a few minutes so no worries there and nearly perfect.

This hotel is fabulous! The industrial decor, the welcoming and helpful staff, the huge rooms, the tea & coffee stations on each floor, the rooftop bar...all fantastic. The location was a 10 min walk from the Time Out Market (great for breakfast!) but still close to the centre of town. We would definitely stay again if in Lisbon - cannot fault it!

There was a raucous and drunk Irish male party that monopolised the roof top bar for 2 nights of our stay. Not the hotel's fault at all (and the lady behind the bar coped admirably) but it would be nice if other human beings were a bit more considerate!

I loved the industrial-artisan design, and the thoughtful upcycling and sustainability elements. It’s an amazing space. I loved the view from my room onto an old courtyard, the local cork floors and the roof terrace. The area is brilliant, being right by the river and close to some tasty, healthy eateries (walk out and turn left and you’ll find some further along the road). The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the blackout curtains worked.

The buffet breakfast had little for vegans. There was plant milk and granola but the granola was sugary and the fruits were all fridged and unripe. Adding something simple like seasonal local fruits - melon and peach for example - and some plain oats and nuts would have been great.

Neither of these are big issues - rest of the hotel is well worth booking for - but if you're keen on being able to cool off after a long day exploring and don't have kids, maybe pick somewhere else. The pool is not open early/late, and it was PACKED with kids (who were not being parented/stopped from splashing water for metres out of the pool onto other people). Poolside bar staff were also inexperienced/inattentive/rude and cocktail was quite bad.
