Breakfast had a lot of choice eggs made to order the location was good if you don’t want to stay right in the centre of Lisbon there’s a tram stop at the end of Rue Sacramento ( the end of the street where the hotel is located) Number 25 cost was €3.10 euros single to take you into the centre one day we got off at Rossio and was able to get the train to Sintra the staff were amazing on arrival Roberto sat down with us with a coffee after a long journey and marked out all the places of interest then offered us swimming or hamman steam room as we had arrived early and room wasn’t ready we opted for the steam room and it was excellent.Fernanda also helped with everything from where to eat locally we went to Geographia about a five minute walk and the food was fabulous we will definitely be back when we return to Lisboa ❤️

I liked everything

It was good for the price, the accessibility was great, I came from the airport very easily and directly, it was close to all parts of the city, it had polite employees, it had a soft and comfortable bed, it was a peaceful environment, I think it was worth it.

In my opinion, the hotel was in an area that was not safe if you came late at night, it was a very quiet and secluded area, I don't think you should come later than 19:00, even though I was a man and I was alone and my family was not with me, but at night the route between the bus station and hotel I felt unsafe

Our stay was an absolute delight! From the moment we checked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming staff, who went out of their way to ensure our visit was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and felt like a cozy retreat after a day of exploring the city. One of the highlights was the excellent breakfast served each morning, featuring a generous variety of delicious options, including organic and locally sourced products that added a thoughtful touch. The location was peaceful and charming, perfect for a relaxing stay. Overall, my experience at Hotel Jardim da Lapa by Shiadu was thoroughly positive. I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant stay in a quiet, welcoming environment.

I stayed here following surgery and received excellent care from the staff, who were extremely efficient and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety of delicious options. My room was very quiet, and I had a lovely view of a lemon tree outside my window. The private enclosure and garden added both a sense of security and a refreshing touch of greenery, making the atmosphere much more pleasant than facing the street. All the staff were kind and eager to help, but I want to give a special thank you to Joanne, who went above and beyond, regularly checking on my well-being. I will definitely return, as I truly felt at home. My deepest thanks to everyone!

Jardim da Lapa is a hidden gem in the district of Embassies. You enter through the garden door and are immediately relaxed. The tall trees are full of birds and fruit, The lawn is dotted with available sun loungers and the pool is blue and inviting. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are delicious, filling and varied. The hammam was available with 10 mins notice and everything was clean and well maintained. We stayed 3 nights and felt very relaxed by the time we left.

The pool was cold, but to be expected in April! Very refreshing when alternating between pool and hammam. Not the hotel's fault, but if you are not an EU traveller the airport queues are horrendous and the driver we booked couldn't wait.

The staff are one of the best aspects of a stay here. Antonella, Camila, Joana, and Jonathan all went out of their way to be helpful, friendly, and accommodating to us. We stayed here twice, both before and after a brief visit to Porto, and returning felt like coming home to good friends.

The location is a double-edged sword. It is in a quiet, residential (multiple embassies) neighborhood. This made for a quiet, peaceful stay. The down side is that there are not a lot of restaurants, bars, stores, etc. very nearby, and those that are within walking distance are up or down some pretty steep hills. The room was quite comfortable, but the pillows were terrible.

The hotel is a little oase in busy Lisbon. The decor is beautiful and the staff is really nice and willing to give you the best tips for Lisbon. Also the breakfast service is tasty.

We've stayed here 3 years ago when the hotel was just brand new and back then the place was amazing. Right now it could need some work. There are scratches on the walls, the showers need new calk and everything feels like it could use a fresh layer of paint. I think its also good to note that the hotel is in an old building, you will hear the elevator in your room and you will here the upstairs neighbours. The could improve the soundproofing.

Beautiful spot, hidden gem. Off the tranquil pretty streets you find a hidden oasis but easy access to the busier areas (SO pleased we didn’t stay nearer the centre). The staff are amazing, friendly and helpful, gave us great recommendations of how to get around and what to see. Breakfast food is fresh and delicious, warm croissants, eggs from their own farm, home made apricot jam, lots other hot & cold items. Great coffee too. Loved the immaculate pool which is salt not chlorine, had a peaceful swim (I was the only one in the pool, heaven) you swim as you smell the blossom and hear the bird song. Very comfy beds, I think king size, really good shower double size. Everything spotless. We were delighted and felt so lucky to have stumbled on this amazing boutique hotel much nicer than a big chain and such good value, like many reviewers have said feels much better than 3 stars and the staff are 6 star :) superb.

The staff was brilliant, the breakfast was great and they had gluten free options made for us. Their pancakes were great. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft and not causing any neck issues. There is a tram / bus stop close to the hotel which takes you into the centre, a short walk to different stop you can take the tram to Belem towers.

As mentioned before by other reviews the noise between the rooms and hallway into our room travel light. If all the guests respect the 9 pm silence then there are no issues. We slept well

Everything was so wonderful. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Jonathan was without a doubt very helpful and kind. This was my first time traveling alone and I was really anxious and Jonathan really helped put me at ease. The breakfast was excellent, very delicious.

The only thing that was uncomfortable, was the bed, it was very, very firm. Staff putative comforter under the sheets for me and that was helpful.
