This was the perfect hotel in the ideal location for us. Our well-equipped room was extremely clean and quiet, and we had everything we needed including coffee maker and kettle, air conditioning, different lighting modes, a large bathroom with toiletries, luggage storage space, and good Wi-Fi connection. Our beds were large and very comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, with a wide range of options including local pastries. We also ate dinner at the hotel on a couple of evenings and enjoyed the amazing light shows afterwards. The friendly and helpful staff made sure we had a wonderful stay. We were upgraded to a room on the Executive Floor, which made our visit even more special; we have visited the Lumen hotel previously in a 'standard' room and that was also perfect. When we return to Lisbon again we would not even consider staying anywhere else.

Really clean and comfortable, staff were very accommodating and helpful. Decor was lovely. Rooftop pool area was very nice. Great location that was very convenient. Tablet in room had loads of info and was helpful for anything.

One night there was unacceptable noise that went on until 1am due to an event but the staff did what they could and we didn’t experience it again. Prefer tea and coffee to be replaced without asking

I like the cleanliness and the comfort. The amenities are good. The local is great, near the subway, restaurants, etc.

Internet is terrible and I wish I could changed my reservation at arrival to get a room at 6am or, at least, sleep sometime at the sofa while the check-in would be avaliable.

The breakfast had a good variety, The room was very spacious and clean as well, the bed was especially soft and comfortable. Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard. The location of this hotel was great too, with easy access to the city centre by bus, train or cab. The hotel had good facilities including a gym, swimming pool, reception etc

The breakfast food options were a bit cold on most days. The hotel offered steamers instead of irons for ironing clothes, and steamers were not the best experience.

The suite is spacious, nice table to work, and I loved the modern style and TV sets that allowed to connect to my mobile devices.

Unfortunately I could not warm up my room. The whole stay the temperature in the room was about 19-20 deg, and if you stay up the temperature was just too low. So then for my next visit I avoided coming back to the hotel.

Everything, location, staff, amenities, light show!! Customer service was superb!! I can’t stress enough how much the front desk staff is so caring, helpful, and sweet, including the bellboys!! They are all so kind and amazing, they always greet you with a smile and warmth! They make you feel special. Hotel is new and very clean. Our room was very quiet and we were able to rest. Beds are very big and comfortable! They even have a pillow menu, which we forgot to use. Great location with many public transportation options. The light show is so beautiful and creative!! I appreciate the effort and whoever created all this for us. I would definitely recommend it and would return to it on my next visit. Didn’t use their restaurant and pool area, so no comment on that.

We stayed at the Lumen for 4 nights. We were greeted by Luis who was extremely smiley and helpful through our entire stay. on the second to last day I contracted covid with gastroenteritis. I was rough and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and helped my boyfriend find a pharmacy open on a Sunday morning. They allowed us a later checkout as we were headed to Cascais for three more nights (ended up being a right off but thats a different story). The reception team are a young, professional and accommodating team. They cannot do enough for you and will always out themselves to help. I will definitely return.

The bar on the rooftop is often unattended and I saw customers helping themselves to drinks.

A wonderful stay. Our room was spacious, extremely comfortable and gave us a lovely restful time in the afternoon after some exploring in beautiful Lisbon. I particularly enjoyed the balcony over looking 2 sides of the hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and gave us a great nights sleep preparing us well for more exploring the next day. Very nice toiletries offered in the bathrooms. The staff throughout the hotel are wonderful (from front of house, to those in the restaurants and bars to those in house keeping). All were very helpful, expert in their customer service and always with a smile. They make the hotel a very happy place. The restaurants served delicious food. We had breakfast and lunch in the hotel and the food was always fresh, tasty, of a high quality and offering a good variety. We also had a late supper one evening of your club sandwich and it was the best I have ever eaten. We really enjoyed the Lisbon Light Show which we watched from the bar.

I stayed in this hotel in August and we were delighted with the cleanliness and service of this hotel. It was clear that everyone on their team was trained to be very professional and polite. We were lucky as we received an upgraded room from the front-office manager who was very welcoming as well as all the other staff members that received us. The area is not too busy, since it is slightly outside of the city center. But since the accessibility is great in Lisbon we had no issues with it being slightly further. They have a very nice variety of pastries for breakfast and the other options are satisfactory too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're thinking of going to Lisbon.

Nothing much

The rooms were spacious. We had an interconnecting room which worked really well for us. Lovely, big, clean bathroom with fabulous shower. The staff were polite and courteous, nothing was too much trouble, especially the restaurant staff at breakfast time. Thank you so much to Simon especially who made us a perfect pot of tea every morning. The Lumen light show again made this hotel a little bit different and was entertaining to watch.

My only criticism was we had to go looking for tea bags every evening except the first. They seemed to be hard to come by, but they were always provided when asked for.
