The size of the room is excellent. As a couple sharing the room we had plenty of room to move around without bumping into each other. There was also plenty of room on the balcony for us to sit on and the view of Lisbon from the 8th floor was great. The food in the restaurant was very good.

I find it hard to accept that a four star hotel will not even offer a small bottle of water to their guests on arrival! And that they charge €1.75 for each capsule of coffee (not even real Nespresso!). I also missed not having a complementary pair of slippers to use during our stay, or dressing gown... and a box of tissues in the bathroom is also always welcome. The bathroom was a little cramped.

We arrived early around 11:00 and we could basically go straight to our room. Friendly staff, nice lobby/bar area. We had a nice white/bright and clean room on the 7th floor with a big balcony from which we could see the incoming planes. The amenities in the room were fine. An iron and board is available upon request and can be used for the time needed. The room has sufficient storage space and there is nothing that we could complain about in the room and it's being cleaned daily. It's soundproof as well. The breakfast was fine with plenty of choice. Really good. There is a small but well equipped gym. The hotel is located out of the historical center but it's very conveniently located. We took the subway at the airport as there is a subway station at about 400m from the hotel. From this station you can also go easily to the historical center and anywhere else within the city. By taxi you can reach the historical center in 10/15 min for only EUR: 6,-. And there is also a train station in front of the hotel for your transportation needs in the wider area. The hotel area has enough places to eat/drink but it's not crowded/touristic as the historical center is. That was a plus for us as you could spend your time in the busiest area and than more or less retreat in the area of the hotel. We would stay again in this hotel.

Hotel is clean, Staff is helpful and no complain, rooms are clean, luxury and very nice.

Hotel was overall good, but a few things need improvement. The entry door is outdated and awkward — not something guests should have to worry about bumping into on the way in. The rooms are filled with overpriced water and snacks. It feels like the hotel is trying to squeeze extra money from guests, and that approach is outdated and frustrating. Most people recognize this tactic — it's time to move on from that practice. Also, please provide an iron in every room. Travelers are often on the go and need to freshen up their clothes. This is a standard amenity even in budget hotels, and it shouldn’t be treated as an optional extra. Besides these things, everything else about the stay was good.

I had a wonderful night at the Lutecia! Check in was easy and I received a warm welcome from Adjani, whose name I apologize for spelling incorrectly. My room (808) was very big, with a great sized refrigerator and a lovely view over Lisbon. I went to the gym and the equipment was well-maintained and easy to use. I had made a special request that no air fresheners be used in the room, and the Housekeeping staff remembered this as the room did not have any fragrance when I walked in. Check out was easy and the cab to the airport came very quickly. If you need a place to stay before leaving on a plane from Lisbon, I would heartily suggest Lutecia! It is about a ten minute taxi ride to the airport.

Everything was perfect!

Great location right across from Roma-Areeiro train station and a 5 minute walk to Roma metro station. This made it really easy to get the train to Sintra and the metro into central places like Rossio and Baixa-Chiado. Staff were very friendly and the room was really clean. The bar is lovely and quiet with a super relaxing atmosphere. The hotel took care of our luggage for the day after we checked out as our flight wasn't until the evening. This was great as it allowed us to explore the city before our flight without lugging baggage around.

Very convenient location close to the trains and walking distance to Avenida de Roma, Campo Pequeno and Saldanha. It is still fairly quiet being in the middle of the actual city. I arrived a bit earlier after a 27hrs flights across the world and the staff were very kind in not only letting me drop my bags but going the extra mile to enable me to access my room earlier.

Not necessarily the property as soundproofing is actually fairly good but some people still need to understand the concept of quiet hours. Not everyone is at the hotel to party until the wee hours and a good night’s sleep is very important to many when traveling. I’ve seen some hotels have started to place reminders for guests to observe quiet time between certain hours.

The room was exceptional! We stayed on the tenth floor and had an amazing view from the balcony! The room was spacious, the bathroom was modern and clean and had amazing lighting. The bed was very comfortable. We also added breakfast at our arrival which was the best decision possible. There was a lot to choose from, including fresh coffee and pastries. The location is really nice, there is a metro station 5 min front the hotel, which takes you directly into the old town. Loved the stay, were sorry we didn’t stay longer!

There is a train station next to the hotel so you hear trains from time to time, but it is not annoying, you barely hear it with the windows closed.

Friendly staff, welcoming reception, good breakfast. Stylish interiors differently themed on each story, nice room with nice balcony with a great view over the city. Near the train station and metro station.

The bed sheets are too warm for me because they include a duvet stuffed inside the top sheet. This made me alternate between taking them down and up during the night (too hot and then cold and so on...). Not a restful night as it should for me but not all guests on the same room shared the same opinion...

We were a family of five, two adults and three children staying for 10 days, and from the very beginning, Mr. Joao Chaves and Filipe Costa at the reception were exceptionally kind and helpful. They warmly welcomed us and took the time to explain everything we needed to know about the city, providing numerous tips and advice. Thanks to their outstanding service, our stay was truly wonderful. The breakfast was absolutely good. We were recommended this hotel for everyone. It is a really five stars hotel.

Very comfortable room, and very clean. The beds and sheets/linen is amazing. The staff very helpful, kind and welcoming. Compared to other hotels in Lisbon the sound proofing from outside was pretty good. Nice view from the balcony facing the city centre and sea side

The breakfast was good but could have had a bit more greens/fruits/yoghurts. The soundproofing within the hotel was not the best, but still better than any other hotels I've tried in the city so far.
