Very nice hotel, beautiful views, everything is new and comfortabel, friendly staff, good breakfast, central location but quiet to sleep, spacious room and bathroom (we were in the superior suite).

We had booked the superior suite and expected to have views over the city from both windows (as you see on the pictures on the website). We were staying in the suite on the first floor (and not on the second) and had only views from one window. The other window looked at a concrete wall. That was a little dissapointing at first but the view and comfort of the room made up for it eventually.

My friend and I enjoyed staying at Patio do Tijolo. The facilities were clean, the staff were knowledgeable and kind and recommended lots of places for us. The location was excellent, close to night life, good food, and attractions. The location despite being in an area that is accessible to everything. The location was quiet. I like the fact that they are very eco friendly. The guests were allowed to use the water filter machine to fill up water bottles as much as they liked. We didn't try the breakfast but it looked very good.

We loved everything about the hotel. One recommendation is to have hair conditioner available upon request.

Great location, no frills, no fuss and just whats needed if youre spending majority of your time out of the hotel. Walking distance to anywhere central you need to get to whilst being tucked away from hustle and bustle.

Beds were not the most comfortable but thats quite a personal preference

The property was brand new and in impeccable condition with great views from the second floor. Despite being in a central location, it was quiet at night and provided a good night's rest.

There was no way to control the temperature. Despite there being a thermostat in the room, it was locked and fully controlled by the hotel. They should not advertise AC if you cannot control the temp yourself. The only way I was able to have any control over the temp was to open the balcony door, which should not be the case.

The staff, the fabulous Anna! ❤️ The whole place is super clean and nice with cool design. Absolutely recommend it!

Absolutely loved everything

Very artistically decorated brand new hotel. As the hotel name (Patio do Tijolo), there is a balcony to every room and the hotel building itself is surrounded by very tastefully manicured garden on three sides. Unfotunately the weather didn't cooperate, but it'd be a great place to enjoy a glass of port in the evening.

The hotel is located in Bairoo Alto which is quite hilly, but we knew that when we booked the hotel, so no big issues.

Patio do Tijolo exceeded our expectations it is only 2 years old. Love the breakfast area and all the relaxing areas outside. Breakfast was fantastic, great coffee machine, fill up your bottles of spring or sparkling water anytime. Help yourself to fruit or pastries all day or night. A great concept. Rooms super comfy, great bathrooms and fabulous view, located in a great area. When arriving to the hotel you come to a large roller door and gate entry very secure and private. The area we loved exploring most of all is Princepe Real if your turn right at the bottom and walk to the top of the main road and intersection, there are numerous very cute restaurants, cafes, super cool bars, boutique shops, with local products etc etc. This are felt non touristy and more local, has a lovely park for people watching. We loved dinner at Samaya Lebanese, ice cream at UAO. There is an amazing building called EmbaiXada which has all local artisan stores amazing building and a great restaurant gin bar in the centre. This area we loved more as everywhere else is quite touristy although great to explore.

Totally recommend this hotel! The rooms are comfortable and clean, pretty bathroom and super quiet in the night although close to a busy nightlife area. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Coffee, tea and little sweets are always available and we even got a little breakfast although we had to leave in the very early morning.

The property is lovely. The room and bathroom are spacious, well appointed, and perfectly clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room has two chairs that face a garden just outside the room. There’s a dining room and lounge space that are common areas, but there are only 24 rooms so there’s always space to sit and have a coffee and conversation. In the kitchen there’s access to an espresso machine and filtered water machine at all hours. The staff is attentive, helpful with recommendations, and provide a nice breakfast if you choose to dine at the hotel. The location was great for walking. I would absolutely stay here again!

The property is a quite urban oasis with contemporary design with indoor and outdoor amenities. The hotel has nice smaller rooms with a lovely intimate breakfast. The hotel is tucked away down a small cobbled lane with a modest entrance which opens to a path to the hotel. The modern design is a very pleasant surprise when you enter.

The staff were nice, however we could have been provided more information on the facilities in the hotel and the location. For example the location is in a trendy part of Lisbon however you need some guidance to find the right entertainment spots which appear hidden during the day and can be hard to find.
