Great location about a 10 min walk to the Rato subway station. We dropped off our rental car at the airport and took public transportation into the city. We also had a nice queen sized bed. The staff was extremely helpful and sold us a 24-hour metro card that we used extensively. The breakfast was one of the best that we had in Portugal.
When we arrived, we could not figure out what button to push to get service and open the guest house door. First impression was not very good: The entrance/foyer rug looked a bit worn and made the place feel a little run-down. It felt a bit odd to have to walk up then down to get to the reception area, but that's not a deal breaker. It is a historical building, after all!

The staff was sooo friendly! They really made me feel very welcomed as a solo traveler. The room was very very spacious and located in a neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and bars. Also close to bus stops as well.
Please note that this hotel does not have an elevator, If you have accessibility issues this Might be a problem. Also Be aware this property is on the top of a hill from…all angles. If you don’t take a bus to the nearest station, you’ll be walking uphill a lot.

Amazing breakfast buffet every morning, like a good Sunday brunch, it changed daily. They make everything there with produce from their organic farm. Lots of good coffee as well! The large breakfast started us off on our daily adventures with no need to eat again until late afternoon. The property is in a great neighborhood, Principe Real. Very safe and quiet but still close to Alto, Chiado, and Baxia which are vibrant, noisy, late-night districts. We loved the small park a block from our guest house and would spend time there daily for drinks, a snack, live music and shopping with the local vendors with locally made goods.
No elevator, but we were on the ground floor so did not matter to us.

Our main floor unit included a small kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooktop, making it feel somewhat like a home away from home. The area was far enough away from the busy tourist areas so made for quiet nights for sleeping. Good location within walking distance to many restaurants and retail business and about two blocks to a park and a bus stop. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful at assisting with any questions we had. Breakfast was tasty and enjoyable.
Bathroom was small but to be expected in this old part of Lisbon. Nightly rate was somewhat expensive, even with breakfast included. A swimming pool would have been nice but this hotel didn't have one.

1. The location 2. Breakfast was more than expected. All fresh and tasty and clean. The stuff told us they have an organic farm 1 hr away from Lisbon and the produce is from there 3. The stuff was attentive, responsive and provided a lot of valuable help and recommendations 4. The size of the apartment was as expected from a place in such a central location
It’s not exactly something that we didn’t like, but the issue at hand could have been dealt sooner. There was a problem with the hot water boiler in the shower. We had reported the issue and indeed the maintenance person had attended to the issue twice, but with very little success. Only on the last day they had moved us to a different apartment, of similar size or a bit bigger, where we had no issues. We believe the solution should have been provided sooner

We absolutely loved it at Casa do Jasmim! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and the apartment was super clean and comfortable with nice wood floors, good views, and ideal proximity to lots of Lisbon’s best offerings. The breakfast offered was tasty and freshly-prepared. The availability of luggage storage was hugely convenient. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries. Plus, the price point felt super affordable when compared to similar accommodations in the area. For the two nights we stayed here, we felt so at home despite being in an entirely unfamiliar city/country and could not have been happier. We loved our stay here and will be sure to book again when we return to Lisbon—thank you so much!

This is located in an area called Principe Real, a residential area with not very much tourist activity going on. Great if you need a quiet location. The touristy areas of Baixa-Chiado and the Praça do Comércio are roughly 30 mins walk from there (all downhill as the hotel is on a hill) or you can of course take the iconic tram or a bus. To get back, you'll be walking up the hill! So if you do mind that, then it'll be a tram, bus or taxi back up there. The included breakfast was really good (and a generous selection) as around the area you'd probably have to walk around 5 mins to get to a cafe or shop and it's quite hilly. The hosts were very helpful and friendly; just let them know if you need recommendations or services you may need for your trip. Side note: I was lucky - I booked in the low-season at end of November time (still warmly mild) and got a room upgrade due to low demand! Nice touch.
Nothing much! There was a broken plastic chair - just check that the furniture is damaged before using it and report it to the hosts and they'll change it out.

When we arrive the room was less than expected, I mentioned this as honestly as I could and immediately the staff: margarita who was working at the time notnonly did everything she could to help but also gave us amazing rec for food and made us feel so welcomed and heard even with a criticism I have never felt more welcomed. It changes my whole situation entirely she tried to help me with every detail so calmly
I would ah e liked to know before hand how difficult it can be to arrive by car in Lisbon/ this is no fault of the property but some recommendations about where and how to safely leave a car would have helped enormously/ especially considering most staff/ driendly and helpful as they are/ do not drive cars (wisely)ina md around Lisbon.

I was blown away by the experience and facilities. They communicated with me and were ready for my very late arrival. I received a warm welcome and a complimentary botella of wine (perfect for 1-person). The room had a kitchenette with a table and the bedroom was large enough to have a chair and room to pace. The included breakfast was good and served in a comfortable space. I received a personal follow-up email after check-out thanking me for my stay, a very nice touch. The room was clean and well-maintained.
While the location could have been more central, the Rato metro line was nearby and everything was accessible.

The rooms were comfortable , very clean , shower had good pressure and hot water . The bed was very comfortable, good drawer/closet and bathroom vanity made it easy to manage belongings . The check in was easy , the staff were PHENOMENAL with advanced communication, special requests for gluten free bread and even made a breakfast to-go package for my niece who left early for airport. The breakfast was delicious with fresh food from their organic farm . The back patio was lovely . So many details attended to! Wish only that we could have stayed longer 💗
Nothing all was perfect for my taste and needs
