Breakfast was spot on - good range of menu choices; service was quick and friendly. The location was very good - easy walking distance for us (in our 60s and not super fit) to all the things we wanted to see. Nice pool area. The staff were very helpful and friendly, both before and during our stay. Our room/suite was spacious, comfortable and clean, with good facilities. Nice walk-in shower. Enjoyed the small patio for just us.

Could have done with more wardrobe and drawer space: bit limited for our 8 night stay. Slight privacy issue from the room's skylight (set in floor of the hotel's main terrace area).

We loved your hotel! We spent 2 nights with 7 friends last weekend and would highly recommend staying again and referring it to friends. It felt like a little hideaway, an oasis, and we walked everywhere in the center from the hotel – the location was perfect. The staff made our stay extra special, going above and beyond to ensure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. We absolutely loved the breakfast – it was delicious, with a great variety, and the team really made us feel like royals! From the warm welcome to the little details throughout our stay, everything was perfect. Thank you for making our trip so memorable – we can't wait to return!

Beautifully designed, comfortable, clean, great facilities in the room and throughout the property. The staff are the real jewels in the crown - all so cheerful and friendly and happy to help with any query. It is a little walk to the main touristy area, which was good for us as we prefer not to be in this middle of the craziness!

The staff were personable, friendly, responsive and proactive. They were more than hospitable treating us like guest to their home. Lots of great locals’ recommendations from the breakfast staff as well of non-touristy things that were well worth checking out. Susan reached out prior to check in with all the necessary information to enable a seamless experience even advising us that we can leave our luggage and enjoy the amenities before our apartment was ready for check-in and after check out. There were additional offerings such as wine tasting and welcome wine / pasta De nata as well as popcorn! Our apartment had a private pool and outdoor dining areaas well which added to the oasis from the city life of Porto. The apartment had everything and more for a wonderful stay. It was very modern, quiet and surprisingly larger than expected. The location is great, lots of restaurant and bars nearby and walkable to all the main attractions. If you also need a hire car we can't recommend M.Cunha who have offices nearby and can drop the car to you (best car hire experience I've had to date, period). We would highly recommend and look forward to our next stay! Thank you!

The morning breakfast chefs outdid themselves daily. It was the highlight of our stay to start our day with their sweets and specialties! Location was great. Super neighborhood restaurants. Plunge pool was needed and refreshing after walking up hills all day!

There was a heating issue in our bathroom that could not be fixed during our stay, but they were apologetic!

First off, the staff are absolutely amazing. So friendly and incredibly helpful! We really enjoyed our stay, but there were a few things that kept it from being a perfect 10. But it was close!

The property is relatively new and I think they are still working out some of the kinks. For one, there is a staircase that you need to walk up and down if you’re staying in a certain part of the property. The staircase is outside and has no lighting whatsoever. Not exactly ideal. Also, while we enjoyed how modern and tech savvy the property was, we struggled to understand it completely and utilize it to its full extent. It took a couple of days to really figure it out and get comfortable with — and by then our stay was over.

What a gem of a hotel. The staff were all attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were out of this world with wonderful daily specials. The room had everything you needed, fabulous shower along with rituals toiletries. It was great to have a room code and no requirement for a key card. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The property is beautifully redesigned. The staff were excellent.

Very noisy room (avoid the one at the front). We had heard this was the best breakfast ever. I guess it depends on what you are comparing it to. It was very ordinary. We travel a lot and have extraordinary breakfasts. This was not one of them. Importantly I do not appreciate being told to write only a five star review. This is how people game the system. Reviews are there to help others and not the property owners!

This was absolutely the best place to stay. Convenient to everything. They made restaurant reservations for us. We had laundry done there that was not expensive and was back the same day. The breakfast was amazing. Even the takeaway breakfast was delicious! The people were so incredibly kind. The shower was hot and strong. They have a “magic” wine machine that was great. Maybe the best bed and breakfast I have stayed at!!!

There was not one bad thing!

It was our first family vacation with our ten month old son. We arrived earlier than check in and were allowed to sit in the lounge area and leave our bags at a secure spot and offered drinks. The staff were absolutely lovely. Location wise it’s perfect and a walking distance from popular tourist spots and the city centre. Place is kept well and tidy and gives a home away from home vibe. We were provided a cot and baby bath as well as Montessori toys for our son to play with. Highly recommend the place.
