We had an absolutely wonderful stay! We were greeted very warmly and offered a delicious welcome drink despite arriving quite late. The receptionist was absolutely amazing and super helpful throughout the whole stay. The room was beautifully decorated and really appreciated the water and teas available and refreshed every day. Great location too!

Just a few small things. The bathroom door didn’t close at all (it appeared half of the lock was missing entirely?). Although breakfast was nice (fresh orange juice and delicious eggs available in any style), you had to make your own coffee with a coffee machine (so no way to make a cappuccino or similar) and there wasn’t that much choice. However, I do understand not wanting to waste food which is common with buffets. It was enough for us but for those wanting a big breakfast it may not be. As I said, these are very small things that didn’t impact our stay very much, we’d definitely be back!

Nicely laid out property. Understand it was renovated recently….excellent design. Room was ample and nicely decorated. Hotel breakfast had excellent choices. Loved the patio garden.

I liked everything

Location was perfect, far enough away from the busy city centre but still convenient. Our room was perfect with private access to the gorgeous garden. Staff couldn't be more helpful with advice of where to visit in and around Porto. Sara in particular was delightful - so friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her and she made the most delicious omelettes in the morning! The restaurant food was amazing, we ate there twice in the evening. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Porto.

Great breakfast, super comfy bed and fantastic location

Damp in the bathroom with a leak coming through from the floor upstairs which made the whole bedroom smell and a broken bathroom door which wouldn’t shut. When we told the staff at the hotel they said they were aware and renovating in the coming weeks but offered no apology or compensation

ambiance is really nice! Bed and pillows are great. A balcony was also a sweet bonus. Small sweets everyday were also very touching!

Elevator didn't work properly if we hadn't found balance and didn't let us out :) Breakfast was disgusting , basically no choice and the cooker used to much oil so we stop even eating at the property however had a pre-paid breakfast. The button "do not disturb" was very disturbing :) because it is incredibly bright and at night it seems like the light in the hall is turned on. We managed to cover it with towel but I believe there should be some sort of coverage for night.

I absolutely loved my time at Jardins do Porto! The double room with balcony was gorgeous and comfortable. There is a lovely view over the city with magnificent sunsets. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty and staff took care to make sure I knew what was vegan. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect - it is a five minute walk from Trindade train which is direct to/from the airport and in walking distance to all of the sights while still being on a quiet street. I highly recommend staying here! I hope to come back :)

The location was so close to everything downtown, yet on a quiet side street. Amenities in this property was PERFECT-they thought of everything and no detail was missed! Glassware, coffee supplies, everything. Room was small but luxurious. Jessica and the rest of the team downstairs were exceptionally gracious and offered excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. There was a street full of amazing LOCAL eateries just a couple blocks away that we visited daily. The breakfast downstairs was lovely. It was a quaint, luxurious and perfectly located guest house!

The space in the room was pretty small with our luggage, but it worked fine.

It is so nice to see employees who are genuinely passionate and happy in their job. You made us feel so welcome and looked after! - Room was fantastic with all amenities you could need - the smartphone in the room is an amazing bonus! - Breakfast was fantastic!! - Interior of the room and hotel is amazing, so cosy and beautiful -We would 1000% come back to the property if we visit Porto again

The staff go above and beyond to help you. They were all great but special shout outs to julia, jessie and sarah The bar is nice The restaurant serves excellent vegan food (i am not vegan but it made a nice change) Beds are comfortable Great value for money Daily treats in your room are a nice touch

The breakfast is good but the cook could be better at making eggs. They were either overcooked or very undercooked. I did not love how the staff sat at the bar and worked on laptops. Often they took up multiple tables and even had business meetings in the lounge seating area. I think you need some dedicated office space for the management to work from The bathroom lighting could be better.

The building, rooms and decoration was totally gorgeous, elegant, stylish and beautiful. The bed was super comfortable, I loved the shower! The bar and restaurant space was amazing, really clean and beautiful. The receptionist was lovely with us and she speaks Spanish, she explained everything to us and gave us a welcome drink. The area was quiet and with some nice restaurants.

They have a restaurant but not space for lunch or dinner, and we didn’t understand because it was almost empty. The breakfast was good quality but I was expecting something else, more quantity or variety. My parents rooms smelled bad, bathroom door didn’t work properly and the room entrance door made noises.
