The hotel is located in the city center, in an excellent location. Metro and bus stations are nearby. The room was cozy, warm and modern. The staff was perfect and the breakfast was very high quality. Wi-Fi was fast and uninterrupted.

The only complaint is the hot water, which was occasionally interrupted in the evenings.

Great hotel within walking distance to Porto’s historic center. The beds are comfortable, with two types of pillows, it was warm and clean. The breakfast was really nice! You can find public parking across the street or park underground for a fee.

Location was an 8 minute walk away from a major metro hub (Trindade), a supermarket is also close by. The staff are super friendly. The room was really clean and we were surprised with a complimentary gift for Valentine’s Day. Great view of the city from the room too.

The shower leaked after every use. There are numerous homeless people sleeping almost next to the entrance of the hotel, some of whom would hurl a barrage of verbal abuse at us, despite us not interfering with them. Of course this is more of a social problem than a fault of the property, but this made the surrounding area feel a lot less safe than expected.

Breakfast available early and selection good. Room was clean, warm and comfortable and with a lovely view of the park. We were able to walk around Porto from this location. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is located close to the train station "Trindade", with all the main landmarks nearby. The windows offer a stunning view of the park, where the sun rises and seagulls soar. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is modern, with a stylish design. The beds are cozy, featuring a good mattress, comfortable pillows, and crisp, snow-white linens. The room is filled with a lot of light. There is a kettle, coffee with cream, tea, and sugar. The bathroom has a great shower that provides maximum relaxation for a tired body. It also includes white towels of various sizes, shampoo, shower gel, soap, and a powerful hairdryer. The hotel corridors have a fresh, citrusy fragrance. A special mention goes to the restaurant with its welcoming staff. We enjoyed fresh vegetables, fruits, pastries, and coffee for breakfast and lunch. God bless Portugal, its people, and its incredibly delicious food. 💛 A truly wonderful place!

Room Select Porto is a really great hotel!! We were greeted by their lovely staff from reception to breakfast! The lobby is so clean as well as the breakfast area and the common restroom! The room has everything you need for a wonderful stay! Sheets and linens are so clean and soft, we really had a good sleep. Bathroom is neat as well as the provided towels. The soap and shampoo smells really good. The room we had is on the third floor and also had a view city view. There were lots of choices for a breakfast buffet. The hotel’s location is also good! 15 minutes walk from the city center, and 20 to the river and bridge. Highly recommend!

Breakfast WAS AMAZING! I love crispy bacons so this place was perfect for that!

From the main spots, it’s a steep climb to the hotel. I suggest use the metro or taxi.
