Had everything needed for an overnight stay. Friendly staff. Plenty of room in the standard room and a very comfy king size bed. Had dinner at onsite restaurant (delicious). Travelled with my parents who needed an accessible room, and they were well catered for in this regard - accessible site (including restaurant) and they had a large room with a kitchenette included and a huge bathroom with accessible shower allowing wheelchair access.

Purchased continental breakfast buffet - vegan options would have been nice, so a little pricey for the limited choice available for me.

Conveniently located. The staff was fantastic. I had several issues, such as forgetting an adapter, needing advice for random things, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, helping me any way they could.

I stayed in room 109. It could be a bit loud and sometimes things (I don’t know what) would bang against the back door which was a little unnerving. Also that step down from the bathroom was a bit precarious in the dark so maybe a lamp on the nightstand would help. Nothing big. Overall I was happy with what I got.

Good location, clean & the staff were great.

I would like to see a face washer as part of the towels. The room that I was in was ground level & I was given a key to the main sliding door. It also has a security screen door which would be added security when I am out of the room, however there is no key to lock it from the outside. When I enquired at Reception about a key for the screen, they said they have never had a key for the screen.

This property is well located, clean and its rooms very spacious. The staff were very helpful and professional. The restaurant was great!

We stayed in a room with kitchenette, it was so basic, we were expecting a little more in the kitchenette.

Balinese restaurant in house was great and Happy Hour at the Bar made our tropical holiday special. Easy walk to the esplanade and restaurants. Having our room made up every day was a bonus. We had 7 days in Cairns winter warmth and did 4 Tours which were all amazing.

Mattress needs replacement but other than that loved Bay Village and loved Cairns

Space was fine and value for money. Bonus 2 bathrooms for 5 adults.

Unfortunately we were taken to the wrong room at first which didn't have any milk in the fridge, but thankfully they were able to find the room we were meant to get so we were moved relatively quickly however again there was no milk in the fridge so thankfully I had requested before I went into the room and even though I asked her to check, she did not, and insisted that there would be but there wasn't. also a few of the coffee sachets must have been out of date as they were disgusting but I rummage through to the bottom and a couple of them felt fresher and tasted better. These small gestures are still important especially given we had travelled 5 hours to get there and first thing we wanted was to sit down and have a coffee. No sufficient parking for the number of rooms available.

The staff was fantastic and helpful with a number of issues. The restaurant attached to the hotel was fantastic (crocodile skewers were AMAZING) and it was nice and quiet.

The only complaint I had was during one of my stays one of the rooms had slatted blinds in the bathroom but no window that actually closed. That allowed some bugs to get in. Thankfully nothing monstrous dragged me away in the middle of the night.

Location was pretty good. Only a few streets back from The beautiful Strand in Cairns. So many eateries to pick from. Also the Bay Village has its own restaurant on the premises.. very nice food.

Was only limited secure parking. If you missed out you had to find parking off premises. The short walk to The Strand also consisted of some badly lit areas.

Excellent stay. Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. The staff were friendly, helped with luggage, and I liked the provision of toasted sandwiches and a fruit platter. Nice restaurant. Well situated in terms of access to the airport. I also appreciated the toiletries in the bathroom.

Please place some bedside lamps (for reading) on the night tables.

Hotel was happy for us to drop off luggage early. They said our room was ready then which was great. I had a fractured foot and asked for twin beds. Was given a ground floor unit 1st but was made up as a double and needed twin beds as was travelling with 20 year old son. So she said there were no other rooms and put us on 1st floor with a fractured foot when they had 3 hours time before our actual check in time to undo the double and make two twins out of them. Was just a bit dangerous managing stairs and luggage with a fracture but did it Was just a bit disappointing and inconvenient. Otherwise all good nice feel and restaurant food was lovely.
