Amazing location. I mean it could not be better literally, huge hotel with many rooms, nice bathrooms and comfort beds. I would like more supplies in the bathroom like slippers ( which I was given when I asked but I think they should be already in the room) and cleaning pads that can fit a 4 star hotel . It needs a renovation in general especially outside - inside it is beautiful. It is lacking an indoor pool. The stuff was amazing The cleaning stuff cleaned everyday and in detail the room and was kind. The extra taxes was something that I found expensive though, 7 euros for two people , per day I think it is too much. However it is the classic tax in 4 -5 stars hotel. Overall it was a great stay! If we ever visit Bratislava again I would like to stay at the same hotel and I hope I would find it even better!

- Extra taxes - The outside of the hotel needs renovation - it is right across the presidential palace- it cannot be like it has been left from the 90s.

The experience at the hotel was very good. from the moment we've checked in untill check out , i've enjoyed staying at the hotel. First and for most , i have to praise the receptionist Matej ,who gave me professional and courteous service every time I went to reception. Always with a smile, joy and respect. Also I would like to add that I also received excellent service from Eva. The level of cleanliness in the room and the hotel was excellent. The food was delicious. And despite the large number of people who came to the tournament that took place at the hotel, it was quiet and very inviting. I reccomend this hotel with the superb service that makes you want to come back to them. In appreciation, Daniela P. Israel

The Mattress was a little uncomfortable

The hotel is in an excellent position just minutes walk from the old town. The hotel staff are magnificent! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We used the club room and it was amazing. Plenty of food and drink and a pleasant space with lovely views. We could choose from spirits, beer and wine between 6pm and 9pm and soft drinks and coffee were available all day. Breakfast in the restaurant was buffet style with lots of choice both hot and cold and the food was lovely. Very good coffee. The hotel represents excellent value for money!

There was nothing I disliked.

Great location to start short break, friendly staff! breakfast is good with a good choice. we had dinner one evening, and I was delighted with the club sandwich. All very relaxed and no real dress code as such. In reach of a lot of sighting stuff, As soon as you leave the hotel to explore ! turn left and that will take old town.

Room was very hot and air conditioning wasn’t working correctly. Our room faced the morning sun and heated up very quickly. The fridge was switched off to save electricity, no way to switch back on that we could find. so your left with warm drinking water in the room. large mirrors in bathroom and not sure I want to be seeing myself in that mirror! and big step in and out of bath shower! We found the pillows to be too big!

This is the second time I stayed at this hotel, and both times everything was perfect. Spacious room with comfy bed, a desk, blackout curtains, a TV, a kettle and tea/coffee. There was also a comfy dressing gown in the room which was a nice bonus. Staff were really friendly and attentive. The breakfast room was beautiful and really spacious. The breakfast buffet had a really wide range of high quality food. There were coffee machines with a wide selection of hot drinks, but the staff also came to my table and asked if I wanted more tea/coffee, which was a nice touch. The hotel bar also does nice food for dinner. In general a nice and really relaxing atmosphere everywhere in the hotel. I stayed during the weekdays in March so got the room at a really good price. The first time I stayed it was on a weekend, but the price was still decent. I think this hotel is perfect if you want to stay somewhere that feels a bit luxurious at a reasonable price. The location is also excellent, within easy walking distance to the old town. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Bratislava.

The breakfast was very good; a great selection. The staff at the breakfast were very helpful. The bartenders on May 11th David and the two on May 13th were awesome.

I misplaced my phone and when my family inquired at the front desk. They knew nothing about it. I inquired the restaurant and the young lady knew exactly what to do. She went to the front desk asked about it and they automatically pulled it out of a drawer. I am glad I was persistent. Maybe next time have the front desk look before sending my family member away.

the hotel is kept well and offers a lot of facilities. The staff were amazing in every area of the hotel very friendly patient courteous and simply made our stay even better as they were always helpful and always ready with a smile. The breakfast is very good and of quality catering well for vegans too. The room was slightly on the small side but still comfortable and clean. Housekeeping are very good too. We were very satisfied at this hotel. Distance from old town is like 20 mins on foot and same distance for Bratislava castle.

they had small issue with the hot water that tends to fluctuate in the bathroom but as soon as we told them at reception they had to have a look at it right away. Also the bath is very high to get in and out of - not sure what can be done about this but it is high and with a 6 year old we had to watch her to get in and out.

Arriving by bus from the train station was easier than I thought it would be. Directly across from the Presidential Palace, the Hotel is located about 100-200m from the 93 bus line and there are other bus stops and the Tram line nearby. The well staffed reception was very friendly and welcoming and the check in process was fast. An interesting thing, that I have never encountered, was the rugs in the elevators were switched out every night to indicate the day of the week. A small detail I found helpful e.g. when I was out looking at opening times or menus. My room was on the 5th floor with a nice view of the Castle and it was also pretty quiet. There are plenty of shops and places to eat near the hotel and the Old Town part of Bratislava is only about a 10 minute walk. I had dinner at the restaurant and took part in the breakfast buffet. They both had excellent service and excellent food. The breakfast buffet had excellent variety of items to include an omelette bar where you can have your eggs made to order. Overall I had a really great stay in a new city and it made my experience more enjoyable.

One thing that I thought the hotel could improve is their voluntary "Green Policy". If you place the green hanger on the door the housekeeping staff will not service your room that day. I thought they could at least restock the coffee and mini bar items.

Staff were supberb. Very helpful. Rooms were a good size, very quite, clean and comfortable beds. Location was great, just beside old town, within walking distance of anywhere you would need to go in the city centre.

Reception lobby was lifeless. It felt like a large, vasy emtpy space, dimly lit, not welcoming at all (I'm just talking about the reception area, staff were great). No one milling about at all, no matter what time of day. Reception desk was so far away from the door and lifts, there was no interaction with the guests unless guests actually went to the reception desk. (Again, this is the problem with the layout, it is not the staffs fault).

As a seasoned traveler I was amazed how close and personal the staff made me feel in this hotel which is large and business like. Staff were all very professional and service oriented. The level of commitment to the customer is exceptional at this hotel. We felt extremely welcome and were treated as a royalty when dealing with our requests at the front desk, during breakfast or at the hotel bar. Hotel and facilities are great and everything is nice and clean but in the end it is about the people and how they make you feel when you stay there. I would want to come back just so that I can get pampered and feel good by people whom whilst complete strangers care about you as if you were a family.

Haven’t found anything I didn’t like.
